The Bashford Manor is one of the hidden treasures of Louisville. The house is stunning, as well as the property that surrounds it. It’s a little oasis among a bustling city. I personally stayed in one of the carriage house suites. The suite was very nice, and clean. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. The ample parking was so convenient. Additionally, Cynthia is such a kind and accommodating woman. She provided us with lots of information about Louisville, and made sure that we had a great time. She’ll also share some spectacular history with you, if you’re a history buff! I couldn’t have been happier with this stay. If you’re here reading the reviews, go ahead and book it! You won’t be disappointed!

Really nice place, the owners are super nice and rooms are well taken care of. Everything is clean and high quality. It's a nice mix of a quaint inn and a manor house. Plus the garden and the historical significance of the site are great added bonuses. I highly recommend for short or long term stays.

What a beautiful Inn! Cynthia is a wonderful host and history buff and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and relaxing. The Bashford Manor was quiet, clean, well kept, and the bed was comfy, just what you hope for when staying at a historical inn. Highly recommended!

A wonderful stay! Cynthia is an excellent host, and is readily available with any questions you may have. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, Bashford Manor Inn is great if you’re looking for a place to stay with a homey feel and some significant history to go along with it! It was so easy to unwind here after a long day of work. The room was super clean and tidy, and the style is cool as well! Easy access to everything you need, such as restaurants, grocery stores, entertainment, etc. I’ll be staying here again when I need a place in Louisville.

If there was an option for a 10 star rating, I would rate my experience at Bashford Manor as 10. Cynthia and Drew made sure my stay was enjoyable. They checked in with me periodically to make sure the room was acceptable throughout my 5 week stay. The room was large and very comfortable. The grounds of Bashford Manor are beautiful. I would also encourage attending any events hosted by Cynthia because everyone was friendly and engaging. I highly recommend staying at Bashford Manor Inn.

The Bashford Manor Inn was the perfect place to spend four months in Louisville. Our suite was the ideal space for our family. It was furnished with all the necessary items one would need for an extended stay, including access to a full kitchen and laundry facilities. In addition, we loved that the Bashford Manor Inn is nestled right in a neighborhood with many local stores and attractions. Many thanks to Cynthia and Drew for being very accommodating hosts the entire time.

This place is wonderful. It is a romantic old horse farm mansion. The details she put into the home to restore it to its original grandeur is significant. It is very clean and quiet. Parking is plentiful and safe. The neighbor is quiet and I feel very safe here. I’ve taken walks around the neighborhood and love the area. It is close to shopping and walking distance to several restaurants. Walmart, Target and Costco are all with in walking distance. Cynthia the host is gracious and helped me several times when I needed to find a specific place in the area. The home has all the modern convienes wrapped up in the past. You will love staying here I did.

Our stay in the Tiny Tree House was a fun, unusual experience. The grand babies loved it it!! With all the windows and surrounding trees, it was Iike being alone in a forest. However, being part of historic Bashford Manor, it was centrally located to anything in Louisville. Cynthia was very welcoming, and eager to share the history of the beautifully maintained Manor House and converted barn. All units are charmingly decorated. I would love to stay again sometime soon!

Wonderful location. Very beautiful place and neighborhood. 6-minute walk to Kroger, Wal-Mart, Target and Lowe's. Didn't even need to use the car to do groceries or go shopping. The hosts were also excellent and very responsive. Amazing stay and no complaints whatsoever!

The Bashford Manor Inn is one of the lesser-known treasures of Louisville. Permeated with history and located in a quiet neighborhood, it is an ideal place to relax among beautiful antiques and gardens. Each room is unique, and Cynthia and Drew, the proprietors, are friendly, kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the fascinating historical facts about the former horse farm that they have transformed into this hospitable venue. This is the perfect place to make a visit to Louisville truly distinctive and unforgettable.

👍👍 The belle of Louisville is a marvelous place. Not only is it a good place to learn a little about the Ohio river and the rest of the history of the city, but the boat is beautiful and their gift shop has plenty of things in it that are priced fairly for memories and fun.
