If I could give a 0 I would! Booked directly through the Hilton app. We arrived for a basketball tournament for 5 Days. At check in I was told my reservation price was going to double because I had to pay tournament price and they would not honor my military discount. Frustrated & know I would not be able to find another hotel, I checked in. Once we got to our room and opened the door, to our surprise we found a housekeeper in the room, and was greeted with a smell of pot. He was very nice and said he didn't understand why they sent me to a room that was not ready. I was extremely furious. Upon returning to the front desk I was met by the manager, GM, and the GM's "Boss". ALL were very rude, and did not want to fix their problem and promptly cancelled my reservation, all while mocking me and treating me like a second class citizen. I gladly left and will never return to another Hilton! Thank goodness Marriott was willing and able to find us a room in the area and at a reasonable price honoring my military discount. By the way I was not the only guest being treated this way. Another member of the military was also turned away because they refused to honor their discount. Also several guest were complaining that the reservation they made and the rooms given were not were reserved and the front desk would do absolutely nothing to help. SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!

Stayed here TEN nights d/t work (nurse) in Louisville. The AC quit working 3x during my stay. They made me come down to get batteries to replace in the AC control box each time. By day 5, I still had not seen housekeeping. I asked that my sheets be changed. 2 days later, still not changed. I eventually helped someone from the front desk change my sheets on day 8. NEVER was given new towels/wash cloths/trash bags. If I needed something, I had to walk downstairs and get it from the front desk...after multiple at calling and asking or messaging them through the Hilton app. The lock on my door was broke and the cover for the lock was missing. The breakfast was AWFUL. Warm milk for the cereal, management demanding staff to restock breakfast items...staff saying "that's NOT even my job to do so!", waffle mix was NOT waffle mix (was old or had no taste at all), yogurt was warm...I finally settled on a banana. They do have a laundry room, but they "stopped supplying quarters" I was told to go to nearby gas stations and ask for change. I'm a Diamond member, and if that is supposed to mean something; at Hilton, it 100% does not. The prices that I booked through the Hilton app with my "Honors discount" were not what I ended up paying. DO NOT spend your money here. I cannot stress that enough.

Excellent place to stay on the edge of Louisville! I had a really great experience here. From the moment I walked in the place was extremely clean and well put together. The staff was beyond friendly, and I was treated nicer than I have been in a long time. The room was absolutely gorgeous. The hallways are clean, and the pool was a lot of fun. I would highly recommend staying here, and Alex made my check, ins experience a pleasure!!!! Thanks to the staff at Hampton πŸ˜€β€οΈ

Bed bugs... lots of them. I stayed in this hotel recently and my family woke up with bed bugs crawling on us. When we brought it to the attention of the hotel staff, I was told they couldn't give any compensation. After significant effort and push back, I was offered a small amount of compensation via points from the manager Jami Mazza, but they were never actually credited to my account and it has been several months and phone calls later with no resolution. I stayed here on my way to my newly built house and it was just to costly to get them out of my new house after staying at this hotel. If you have $3000 to throw away, then stay here... that is how much it will cost to get them out of your home, clean your lugage, and car. It is true the hotel has just been renovated and they changed their name, but that does not take care of bed bugs which can travel from room to room when disturbed during renovations.

x for being such a nice spacious Hotel the room was rather small and had no real room on either side of the bed. But the decor was Modern and tasteful. It was a little bit off the road so it was rather nice

Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of the Night Check-in person, but she was SO friendly and very helpful. The Breakfast the next morning was fresh and constantly being attended to by the staff. The Person at the Front Desk was also Cheerful and helpful. I would highly recommend, and if in the area again, I would definitely stay again. GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!

The hotel staff were friendly as soon as we walked through the door, the room was clean and the hotel as a whole was quiet. The breakfast smelled delicious but we just grabbed coffee and a banana to go. Great stay.

I had to stay in town for work and wasn't expecting much, but I'm happy I stayed here! The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was pretty good. I liked that the downtown area offered so many food options.

Been to a lot of hotels in my life, THIS HOTEL was the best by far! The amazing staff was very helpful, kind, and caring which made me feel so welcome! Their Breakfast bar was fantastic! Judy, and Cody were like family! Cody came to check up on me when he began his shift the next day because I wasn't feeling well the day I checked in. He went out of his way which meant so much to me! The rooms were clean and beautiful! Handicapped bars in shower, and shower stools available as well. Beautiful pool! I would highly recommend this hotel. A PLUS!!!!!

Clean facility and pleasant staff. The decor in the room - the addition of very bright colors - was odd. The bathroom spigot was oddly installed. The sheets and room did not smell clean as we've come to expect from Hilton properties The breakfasts were of poor quality

We loved our stay at the New Albany Hotel. The hotel is right across the river from Louisville proper in a delightful little area, secluded enough to be quiet but quite close to whatever you are doing in town. We loved the horse-themed pillow and room decor. The rooms had lots of pillows and comfortable, clean white sheets. Rooms had coffee, microwave, fridge and TV as well as nice chairs and good internet. The staff were awesome - they gave us a sheet of recommended local restaurants, and were friendly and welcoming at breakfast, it felt like we were part of the family. The lobby is great! Really stylish furniture, coffee all the time, as well as local honey! Flavored waffles to make was a nice touch. Plus - very important - lots of power outlets in the common areas so we could go do work on a laptop or charge our phone. Will definitely stay again next time we're in town.

Other than quick access to Sherman Minton Bridge, 'Louisville Theme' a bit of a stretch. Renovation ACTIVELY underway. Pool closed, halls still need work, rooms just given a quick make over from it's original Holiday Inn. No need for wake up call as hammer drills begin at 7:00 am. 'Hot' breakfast bar adequate at best....limited items. Decent enough place, but overpriced for an active renovation with limited amenities. Would be priced right once complete. Staff is very nice and do try.

This would have been a 5-star review. There was a minor safety concern; a broken fridge. That I wouldn't mention if it wasn't in a handicapped room. Everything else would pass local health codes. The room was clean and open. With plenty of room for a wheelchair or similar. Location is everything and this hotel offers that. The breakfast was 5-star, free, and good. An overall positive, 5-star experience; if you get a new fridge and fix the blinds.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. The room was clean, well furnished, and had everything we needed. We had no trouble getting lots of extra towels from the friendly front desk staff. We were able to check in early through the Hilton Honors app which we loved! The pool was clean and we liked that it was an outdoor pool because the weather was perfect for it! The free breakfast was perfectly adequate and its so convenient. The breakfast attendant was very nice and got us whipped cream for our waffles. We had no idea how nice the area around the hotel (New Albany) was! Lots of really cool restaurants in the area and we felt really safe. It's a great location, not too far of a drive into Louisville for us. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location as we were traveling west, and this got us out of the city. Great service, nice size rooms, very modern plus they kept the dark roast coffee and hard boiled eggs were back. Some locations don't have that, but this location knows what people like. ALL Hamptons should make sure they don't take away the dark roast!!

I feel very indifferent with this property. Stayed here for a night mid-May of 2023. Very updated property that is a mile from the Kentucky border (Louisville) and adjacent to a Waffle House for a convenient breakfast. The property has a weird exit to the highway due to a one-way road that bends. No issues with the room (exceptionally clean), nor with parking. My primary issue is with this property is with customer service. I was locked out of the property due to the digital key not working properly. I was parked on the far end of the hotel, and had to go all the way around to the front of the property with luggage. Very inconvenient. The night auditor (Cody) had a slight issue, and wasn't exactly the friendliest in making a new key to access the room plus the rear door. I indicated as much plus bad information given by Cody to the manager (Heidi Meehan), and her silence on the matter indicated that she could care less. And I thought that Indiana hospitality was supposed to be friendly. Not here, evidently. Overall, very updated and clean property, yet with questionable hotel hospitality from the manager on down. Very sad.

While the hotel itself is very nice and clean, our group of 11 baseball families were extremely disappointed to find out that the outdoor pool was not open when we were there June 2-4. There was no mention on the website that the pool would not be open. We chose the hotel based on the pool and proximity to baseball fields, and were very upset that the pool wasn't an option for all the kids we had there. The website should definitely specify the pool's open dates and it did not.

At 11pm I was sleeping I awoke to my room filled with cigarette smoke. I had to hunt down the night manager. When I located him outside around the building he was smoking. He finished his cigarette and came up to my room and walked around and said "he didn't smell anything." I and the family next to my room smelled it also in there room. I told the night manager he couldn't smell smoke because you are a smoker. I proceeded to say this floor is 100% smoke free. Also, there were over 30 people in the pool after 11pm the night manager called his manager and he told me something about if they are in the pool after 11pm they needed a contract, he said those people had to get out. The night manager was scared to tell the loud people to get out, finally he found his courage, job role to tell them they had to go, they stayed until 12am with loud children, coolers, drinks adult beverages. If someone had drowned Hilton would had a law suit against them. Then the night manager told me he would have to charge ME $250 if he checked room the next day. I DON'T SMOKE NEVER HAVE AND AM EXTREMELY ALLERGIC TO SMOKE my nostrils were burning eyes watering. Needless to say as an attorney I was livid and think I should be compensated for all the stress and strife I endured. I have never been treated like this at hotels. I will never stay at the hotel ever again.

Honest review 3.2 would use if no other Hilton Brand options. The front lobby staff was solid! We thought the parking lot was a little sketchy but didn't seem to bad overnight. The hallways were only about 7 ft...I'm 6'7 so it felt a little tight. The rooms were clean. Bed was pillows nice. Bathroom was clean. Old school shampoo bottles. Unfortunately the breakfast service wasn't on point like normal. No items, items there seemed a little undercooked or rushed.

I stayed here a year ago for a wedding. By far the worst experience I’ve had at a Hampton. The surroundings are rough and we were awoken by a drug deal going down in the room beside us. Seriously, stay anywhere else.

This was a great hotel. Clean large room. Very updated . Had walkin shower . They have a gym. Nice breakfast too. Can even make your own waffles to eat with your eggs and sausage. Several items to choose from. Very reasonable

If the pool is not open PUT IT IN THE WEB SITE. The whole vacation was for the beautiful pool that was full and yet closed. This is the worse place also no regular cream for breakfast coffee. Not only that the waffle batter is gross beyond gross! Do again no stars horrible place hate Hampton never again!!!!

Arrived around 11pm … front desk person less than accommodating. Breakfast was terrible! I think we will pull into McDonalds. Not up to Hampton Inn standards. Room was comfortable and clean. Late night desk person not good and breakfast terrible!

I was in the area, to meet up with friends, Friday afternoon thru Sunday morning, and booked a room at the Hampton Inn "located" in New Albany. I gave the room 4 stars because it wasn't a 5 star room. It was a very nice, comfortable room, but nothing fancy, which is NO problem! I got what I paid for and feel I got my money's worth. I ate breakfast Saturday and Sunday mornings. The lady in charge of the "restaurant" was very pleasant and did a terrific job of having everything ready "on time", which is 7AM. Again, nothing fancy, but a good variety of breakfast goodies that hit the spot! I didn't get the young man's name at check out, Sunday morning, but he, Marcy and Matthew are great "hosts/ambassadors" for Hampton Inns. The next time I have overnight plans in the New Albany area, I will be staying here.

The customer service that Matt gave was great!! He allowed me to take a look at the room before paying which showed me was confident that I would still stay after seeing the room. The room was very clean and we was very pleased with our stay. We only had one issue and it was with the pool. The first day the water was very sparkling and blue but the next day we notice it was a dark green in the deeper end and when I asked Matt about this he stated it should clear up in a hour or so as they had done the shock to the pool earlier unfortunately it never cleared up is after about three hours we decided to find something else to do. I would still recommend this hotel!!!

The hotel was clean. The room was clean and quiet. The day staff were all nice and helpful! The dryer was broke during our stay which was a little inconvenient during a basketball tournament week. There is a laundromat not too far away. The pool towels were hand towels, so bring your own. But the pool and pool area was clean and nice! There are fun local restaurants and shops close by. The location was fun to navigate around!
