Jeremy and Mark are wonderful hosts! Our room (Hearth Room) was fabulous and tastefully decorated! The breakfast prepared by Mark each morning was a plate of perfection. Jeremy makes the best cocktails in the afternoon after a great day of bourbon tasting adventures. This trip was our second visit staying at the Inn at Woodhaven and the bar has been set extremely high for any future stays at other bed and breakfast locations. Thank you for your hospitality and making us feel like family. We look forward to seeing you both soon!

One night stay on our anniversary - we will definitely return again even with no anniversary. We were treated royally with great diverse amenities and much attention to detail throughout the historic lodging. The owners are improving a place of quality already and a gem for stays in a residential area, with a park (we saw deer!) nearby and quiet apartment places. Breakfast was at our choosing and was great - I learned how to make a uniformly shaped poached egg. Owners are knowledgeable, outgoing, and greatly attentive to detail. Inn at Woodhaven has our grandest review.

This was our first stay in a Bread and Breakfast. I'm afraid that the Inn At Woodhaven has ruined us for all the rest, because i don't think any other B&B could compare to the experience that Jeremy and Mark gave us. Not only were the facilities like stepping back in time, but the service was exceptional. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. Not only are Jeremy and Mark great hosts, but they are excellent cooks. I could not think of how anything could have been done to improve our experience. Both my wife and I can't wait to go back. I can highly recommend the Inn At Woodhaven without reservation. - Harry

We just love visiting the Inn. This was our second time and it was just as magical. The Rose Cottage has been renovated since we last visited and the inn keepers have done a lovely job. There are so many special touches (home made cookies, apertifs, etc). I highly recommend the inn! Breakfast was also very delicious.

We stayed at this beautiful Bed and Breakfast on November 10/23 enroute to New Orleans. Jeremy greeted us with a tour of the Inn’s rich history. The property and home are beautifully maintained. We stayed in the Derby Room within the carriage house. It was just stunning. Jeremy and Mark offer 5* service with little details that make your stay extra special (cookie bar, complimentary aperitifs). It was a wonderful breakfast with delicious coffee. Our only wish was that we were staying a bit longer. We highly recommend this B&B. this will be where we stay if we are ever back in the area!!!

The Inn at Woodhaven is a wonderful bed and breakfast in a great location. Mark and Jeremy's hospitality and attention to detail is top-notch. Their care for the guests' experience and their specific needs shines through. Breakfast was amazing as were the cookies, chocolates, and spirits placed around the main house. These guys are great at what they do and we will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at the Inn. Jeremy and Mark were very helpful, kind and knowledgeable about the Inn and the area. Jeremy recommended the Lou Lou restaurant for dinner and we loved it. We thought the breakfast at the Inn was wonderful! Jeremy and Mark were always working hard and you could tell that their heart and soul went into making our stay there lovely and they certainly succeeded. We really appreciated how Jeremy shared with us the history of the Inn, gave us a tour, and showed us to our room personally. I could just go on and on, but if you are staying in Louisville we recommend you stay there. If anything is not the way you like it or what you need, we feel certain Jeremy and Mark will do everything in their power to get you what you need and make your stay outstanding. Thank you both for caring so much about your historic Inn!!

On a trip by myself to Louisville, I spent four nights at the Inn at Woodhaven, and I really enjoyed it. The inn itself is beautifully restored with antiques but many updates (baths, mattresses, etc). Unlike in some inns or B&Bs, you barely hear the sounds of other guests and can choose made-to-order breakfasts at your own table in the lovely breakfast room. Extras such as cordials available in the parlor, sherry decanters in the bedrooms, cookie jars in the hallway, and bourbon pours available when requested show the thought that the hosts have put into making the Inn at Woodhaven a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. I highly recommend it.

When I booked a stay at the Inn at Woodhaven my expectation was that it would be a lovely place to spend a few nights. What an understatement! When we stepped through the door, we were totally amazed by the grandeur of this beautiful old home. Jeremy, one of the inn keepers, gave us a tour and talked about the home’s history, and we knew we had stumbled into a real jewel. Everything about our three night stay was fabulous — our beautiful room, the wonderful breakfasts, the hospitality. It was a busy weekend, and we did not have a chance to do a bourbon tasting. So we will return.

This was our first stay at he Inn at Woodhaven and it will not be our last! What a fabulous find! Not only are the architecture and decor exquisite, hospitality is just woven into the fabric and culture of this B&B. The 2 bedroom Attic Suite worth every step (2 flights!). Spacious, pristine, incredibly private, and the massive bathroom is beyond luxurious. Absolutely dreamy - We could have easily lounged in bed the next morning, but their renowned breakfast served on china in a gorgeous dining room is not to be missed! 5-Star experience all around!

Inn at Woodhaven was fantastic. This was actually not on our radar, but they accepted our reservation for only one night. Everything was fantastic-we stayed in the cottage, so fun and comfortable! We ordered the cheese and wine platter. We enjoyed out on the porch. The breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this place - The proprietors are so kind and proud of their home. Thanks for a five star stay. Hope to come back soon.

Staying at the Inn At Woodhaven will ruin any other B&B experience you will ever have! From the very beginning, communication is open and warm, making it feel as if you are visiting a close friend or family member for vacation. Jeremy is wonderful about answering any questions and concerns, making sure you have all the information you need to plan your stay. He was very knowledgeable of the area, making wonderful recommendations for dinners and places to visit. Beginning your stay with a very informative tour, you have a sense of the wonderfully warm and welcoming history as if the house were your own treasured family heirloom. The sweets counter is a nice treat, with Mark's freshly made cookies too tempting to pass up! We were also able to participate in a bourbon tasting in which Jeremy was also wonderfully knowledgeable of all the bourbons, leaving us feeling like true bourbon connoisseurs when we finished. The wine and cheese plates are to die for, and beautiful to look at. Breakfast will also spoil you! Mark makes the most wonderful breakfast breads and pastries, as well as delicious items available from the menu, all part of the spectacular service provided! Mark and Jeremy really go beyond to make you feel like you are family, and we can't wait to come visit again!

Jeremy and Mark, the owners of this beautiful, historical property, do everything right. Both the mansion and the carriage house (where our room was) are immaculate and beautifully furnished with period-correct items. The term "southern hospitality" applies, as Jeremy was gracious in adjusting our arrival time. And the food? I don't toss superlatives around lightly, but I swear that the biscuits and gravy - which featured a hint of tarragon - were the best I've ever eaten anywhere. We'll find an excuse to return to this magnificent place!

My wife and I were BLOWN AWAY with this place. We visited the Louisville area to tour several of the liquor distilleries in the area. We nearly talked ourselves into skipping the tours on day two, in order to just spend time at the Inn at Woodhaven. From the time we opened the front door, to the time we left, we were absolutely taken back by the beauty and service this place had to offer. Our room was absolutely perfect! I can't think of even one recommendation for improvement I can suggest to these owners. Breakfast was delicious both mornings, and the inside of this place is absolutely beautiful. The St. Matthew area where the inn is located was also absolutely beautiful. We will definitely stay there again the next time we visit the area. Thank you to these owners for making this place the highlight of our mini vacation to Louisville!

This was a super fantastic place to stay with super fantastic rooms and breakfast. Jeremy worked hard to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. We were coming in late and they made it work out great. If Jeremy was in a butlers outfit as the one guest requested it wouldn't make the look and feel any better than what we had ;) I would stay here every time I go to Louisville.

We had an incredible stay with Jeremy and Mark at The Inn at Woodhaven. This place is exactly what you would hope for with a bed and breakfast. The architecture is beautiful and the hospitality of the owners was top notch. The breakfast that's included is as good as any restaurant around and I would definitely recommend the black walnut old fashioned.

Elegant, comfortable, well-maintained old, stately home located in a safe, peaceful area of Louisville. Bed so comfortable you wish you could stay in it all morning, but you don't want to miss the breakfasts: Mark's special coffee, house-made pastries, eggs cooked to order.... you're relaxed, you linger, and you enjoy. Don't even think about lodging elsewhere. Stay here. It's a wonderful place. Elise

Everything about the Inn At Woodhaven is wonderful! The service, the breakfast, the rooms and location are all exceptional. I've stayed twice on my route from Canada to Texas and both times have been met with wonderful hospitality. Jeremy and Mark love their home, giving tours and hosting others. They are great at helping guests feel welcome and provide wonderful amenities. I had tea for one waiting for me upon my first visit. I highly recommend a stay here if you find yourself in Louisville!

Completely perfect experience. Great communication in the reservation and check in processes, Jeremy and Mark are beyond friendly and professional, the house, rooms and property are flawless, comfortable and clean. I felt like I was staying with friends. This is the only place I recommend in a bed and breakfast. We will definitely be back multiple times!

This is one of those times that 5 stars is inadequate to rate such a perfect experience. From the history of the inn and its beautifully appointed rooms to the warmth and generosity of its innkeepers, you can’t help but love your time here. Jeremy’s bourbon expertise pairs perfectly with Mark’s culinary delights… I’m still thinking about the pastries 2 days later! The bed was so comfortable…I actually slept in! You’re done searching..book a room here.

What a fabulous home and stay at the Inn At Woodhaven! We stayed in the cozy Hearth Room with the huge fireplace, which used to be the old kitchen for the house. It met our every need and was very private with parking right outside! The breakfast was delicious and served hot. Jeremy made sure my coffee was always topped off. The food was scrumptious, surrounded by a stellar home with many fancy Victorian details and beautiful furniture all around. It was a sight to behold! It is decorated tastefully with fun touches. Jeremy said they were getting ready to decorate for Christmas and he puts up 22 trees! Wow! I’m sure it will look nice in those 15-foot ceiling rooms. It is worth the stay and we hope to be back again!

Jeremy and Mark are unbelievably wonderful hosts. Every aspect of our stay was excellent. The breakfast was top notch. Our room was immaculate with every convenience available. Jeremy tries to anticipate what might make his guests happy. I can say in our case he was spot on. Who cannot enjoy Ruth Hunt fantastic bourbon balls? We will be back. We would highly recommend the Inn At Woodhaven.

It was a joy to be able to stay at the Inn while transporting some customers around the area for a great Bourbon Experience. The icing on the cake for a trip. We all loved what you have done with the property and cannot wait for our next trip. Our company will highly recommend staying with you whenever customers ask for a recommendation on where to stay in Louisville. Jeremy was very open about the history of the home (one of a kind in the area). Mark did a fantastic job with breakfast every morning. They have a great plan for some 'minor' add-ons in the coming years. Definitely a hidden gem in Louisville that is a must see and stay.

As always the case, the Inn at Woodhaven is superb in every fashion conceivable. Jeremy and Mark are exceptional hosts.....they see that every concern is met with aplomb! Jeremy meets and greets each customer and ensures all is right. The rooms are cozy, clean, and exceptionally serviced and supplied. The historic house is quiet, magnificently maintained and furnished. The beds are very comfortable with clean fresh linens. The breakfasts are to die for with fresh pastries and coffee cakes which are home made, and a wonderful menu from which to select. The even offer biscuits and gravy!! (Which I do not need, but enjoy nonetheless!). The Inn also has a drink list and wonderfully stocked bourbons to enjoy! I am from Louisville, but live out of town. I always stay here as the experience is so wonderful each and every visit!

This Inn is beautiful! The pictures are nice, but don't quite do it justice. From the details in the decor, keurig in our room, amazing steam shower, comfortable beds, and lots of room to unpack personal items we were loving every minute of being here. The breakfasts were delectable, and I would certainly stay here again. Our hosts Jeremy and Mark were gracious and excellent resources for restaurants and breweries to try. The house and rooms were also very clean and always smelled magnificent.

Stayed here for a quick overnight with my bride. Had an amazing time. Owners were super kind and personable, made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time. Offered me a to go coffee for an early departure. Beds were awesome, comfortable, pillows to accommodate all preferences. We had an amazing time. If you are contemplating a place to get away, highly recommend the Inn at Woodhaven, you will not be disappointed. We wish we had gone sooner!! Thanks for a great time!!

The best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at ever! We stayed in Carriage house and then Rose cottage on return. Both terrific. Jeremy makes the best bourbon old fashion which we enjoyed on front porch and Mark made delicious homemade breakfast. Carmel french toast a must. Service is above and beyond and home built in 1853 has been meticulously refurbished by them. We are already making plans for a return in fall.

My husband and I have stayed at quite a few bed and breakfasts over the years and this one competes at the top for our favorite romantic place! I read through all of the reviews prior to booking and the best ones don’t lie-this place is better than advertised and easily deserves 5 stars. You will not be disappointed at the attention to detail and kindness extended from the hosts. Jeremy and Mark have outdone themselves in hospitality. They go beyond the expected and treat you to a luxury experience…from in room touches including snacks that rang from sweet-salty, to bubble bath and bath salts..to complimentary liqueurs/liquors in the parlor, and fresh cookies/tea in the lobby you will feel cared for and looked after in every room you enter. We booked one night in the charming Rose Cottage and had such a lovely time that we added a second night. The mattresses are incredible! The breakfast table is set fancy and filled with many delightful options for entrees. On a side note- I am typically not a biscuits and gravy type of person but after tasting my husbands gravy I was impressed and ordered the same myself. I’ve never had sausage gravy that was seasoned with herbs so well. The history is extensive in the buildings themselves and the owners are available on property and knowledgeable in the local area as well as story of the Inn itself. I have already been telling many of my friends and family they need to come here for a retreat. This was well worth every penny and we are so thankful we had a small haven of rest here.

We have been to several B&B's and the Inn at Woodhaven is on the top of our list. We enjoyed the tour Jeremy gave us when we arrived and was made to feel welcome and appreciated. The room was wonderful and exceptionally clean which made for an over the top rating . The breakfast was as beautiful as it was delicious with several choices made to order which is unique for a B&B. My husband is a very picky eater and he loved everything served. The bed was so comfortable and we just enjoyed the atmosphere and history of the rooms. We will be back when possible and have already recommended this B&B to our friends and family.

My wife and I found this place just outside of Louisville - the perfect hub for our bourbon trail adventure. The historic home is stunning, the rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfasts were amazing - omelettes, french toast, chocolate chip pancakes, tasty pastries always available, and Mark and Jeremy are wonderful hosts. So glad we opted for this over a hotel. I hope to find a reason to visit again!

What a wonderful experience!! Very homey with so much history. beds were comfortable, host (owners) made you feel right at home. We will be back and we will recommend Inn at Woodhaven to anyone heading to Louisville. I am not an old fashion girl but Jeremy makes a very tasty old fashion. Mark's breakfast is delicious and made to order, no buffet. Jeremy and Mark made several recommendations for evening dining and a few more distilleries to try. The overall experience is most definitely 5 stars!!

My partner and I discovered Inn At Woodhaven while trying to find a cute spot to rest overnight to break up the drive between Alabama to Chicago. Our experience was wonderful! Both Mark and Jeremy were extremely warm, the inn itself and our room (the Cupola Room) were cozy and immaculate, and the extra amenities and breakfast were AMAZING! Definitely go for it if you're on the fence. My partner and I will definitely be returning the next time we take a road trip down I-65.

Stunning! Amazing hosts, comfortable, spacious rooms, welcoming atmosphere, close to so much. Delicious breakfast every day! Jeremy and Mark could not have been more gracious and kind. We stayed for two nights in the attic suite and it was perfect.

The Inn At Woodhaven is a beautiful inn! Jeremy and Mark were great hosts. The rooms and inn were very clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic and the coffee was delicious, loved being able to have choice of entree. There were so many great amenities on property. The location is quiet and it was quick and easy access into downtown Louisville. We would definitely recommend this location to anyone we know traveling to the area!

Jeremy and Mark have created the most comfortable and welcoming B&B. Every possible comfort has been thought of and made available. As a tea drinker I so appreciated the electric kettle, tea bags and bone China cups in the Rose Cottage. The bed was amazing and We are going to get one just like it, slept so well!! Breakfast was amazing each day and the bourbon tasting on our first evening there was very interesting and informative. We will be back. It was a wonderful trip.

Mark and Jeremy are fabulous hosts. The rooms are clean, quiet and exquisitely decorated, the breakfasts are amazing, and the house is in a perfect location for the Bourbon Trail. Jeremy will give you a tour of the house. The history of the estate is amazing. In the evenings, ask Jeremy for one of his famous walnut old fashioned. They are perfect for sipping while sitting in the rockers on the porch. If you are lucky, Mark may be trying a new recipe, and will need some "volunteers" to provide reviews for his latest creations. His pastries, cookies, and cakes are a perfect start to your morning. They will put a smile on your face that will last all day. Mark and Jeremy always have an excellent recommendation for the fabulous food scene in Louisville. Who knew that Louisville was such a "foodie" town? Please don't tell anyone about this gem, we don't want this secret getting out!

Great location and a wonderful place to spend time. Jeremy and Mark go out of there way to make sure you feel welcome and your room is top of the line. If you need a hearty breakfast to start the day this is the place. Maybe you want to have an evening bourbon tasting no problem. The grounds and the building are both well kept. We would highly recommend Wood Haven Inn.

This house is interesting and beautifully. Although it is surrounded by other buildings, once inside you completely forget about the outside world. What really makes it special are the dedicated Innkeepers who provide an education about the building, wonderful treats throughout, an amazing breakfast (with multiple tempting entries which is unusual for a b and b), and a general feel of being welcomed and taken care of. Highly recommend.

I LOVED my stay at the Inn at Woodhaven! The home and rooms were beautiful, classy, and comfortable, breakfast was wonderful, and the hosts were friendly and knowledgeable of the home's history and recommendations of things to do during my stay in Louisville. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast and would stay again.

David and I had such a wonderful experience at The Inn at Woodhaven! We had a great, spacious and very private room in the carriage house. The inn was so beautiful and stately in all ways. Mark and Jeremy are great hosts and have such attention to detail in the whole house and rooms. Fabulous linens on the bed, wonderful mattresses on the beds throughout, and very nice, upscale towels for your pleasure, as well. Do yourself a favor and book a stay here! You will truly love it! My stay at The Inn at Woodhaven was great. I love history, the property goes back to 1852 and looks every bit of it, and yet clean and fresh!! Jeremy and Mark do an amazing job of making you feel welcome and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is laid back time wise and delicious when served. There's yummy complimentary baked goods and cordials available as you wish. The cost to stay there is more than fair. All in all I highly recommend it. You won't regret it.
