It is a very cozy environment with extremely helpful and lovely staff. It's a great place to grab a book and mingle for a while with cappuccino or espresso. Also, They have plenty of outlets so if you wanna bang things out on a laptop for a couple of hours, it's a pretty ideal place. The pastry selection is plentiful to full and diverse. I love the scrumptious cakes. They also roast their coffee in-house, which is neat. From what it seems like, they mainly provide dark roasts. I will definitely come back for a second visit.

Wonderful little coffee shop by the river! I stopped in to do some work and ended up staying for hours because the environment was so nice. I had the chorizo burrito for lunch and it was absolutely delicious. The coffee was also very nice, and their coconut cream pie was excellent. As an added perk, if you are in the medical field you get a 10% discount there. Overall, great place and I'll definitely return

Nostalgia. Nostalgia. Nostalgia! What used to be a house is more a quaint little coffee shop with a charm so it’s own. Many blasts from the post to help you remember yesteryear Bad bell all warm and fuzzy. They serve the coffees and trees you know and love… and with a smile. Also enjoy assorted scones, danishes and cookies. Go, sit, relax, soak up the atmosphere and remember the good ol days!

Great coffee shop for studying with plenty of seating and natural light. One of the few coffeeshops I know that still serves all dine-in beverages in a mug with a cute lil cookie. If the weather is nice, sit outside! My friend and I ordered pumpkin scones with chai lattes 🍂🎃

I was prep to visit Fante’s Coffee after reading an article in the Courier-Journal. The ambiance is excellent. The building (a house), the open views to the park, and the comfy furniture is welcoming. I enjoy the coffee. Since I like strong latte, I asked for two shots. It turned out it was to strong. The pastries are good, but a little pricy for my stingy budget. I was alittle disapointed with the small baggel, and also that they don't have a vegetarian sandwish in the menu. I can come back for more coffee and the environment.

The best coffee shop in town! They have hot food, baked goods, coffee, tea, and wine/spirits. It’s a great cozy atmosphere, like you’re in someone’s home. The grilled cheese wasn’t on the menu but they feature it as a special sometimes. So I asked if they could make it and they did! Yum!! So cheesy!! I love the iced tea blend they use, and it’s the only place that doesn’t scald the almond milk when I get my lattes. The staff is super friendly as well! You can tell the owners are hands on and care about customer service as they were checking on orders and people waiting. I’ve been going here for years and I thought it was way past time for me to write a review. Great job Fante’s!! Keep it up!

Meeting with friends this morning at Fante’s Coffee. My first time since I do not drink coffee, but the Chai Latte Tea was great there’s many different coffees and teas to choose from and sweets to have with them. I noticed that there was a lunch menu. The smell of the coffee inside was delightful. The place was sunny and very comfortable inside and out. We choose to sit outside on the patio. A friend of ours that passed last year worked there and they graciously honored him in several ways. The Cadillac coffee roasters were big and beautiful as we toured the roasting room. A pleasant surprise! I would have no problem going again for more Latte and enjoying the atmosphere.

You have to check this charming, bright, super-friendly coffeehouse out! The atmosphere is amazing. The room overlooking Cherokee Park is full of natural light and beautiful, relaxing scenery. There's another large room in the back that would be great for meetings. And the spacious patio is very inviting! The customer service was exceptional. Having run a coffee shop in the past, I know quality and Fante's is awesome!!! I was examining everything at the counter while waiting for my order and an employee on break saw me and asked if I needed anything in case I hadn't been helped. They even have a La Marzocco espresso machine -- Google it if you don't know. I plan to try their varieties of regular coffee too. Lots of pastries, cakes and baked goods. I was thrilled to find a #glutenfree apple scone. I just grabbed a latte and scone, but will go back for a meal in the near future! Be sure to check out their coffee roasting room as well!

I’m a Venezuelan living in MN for 4 yrs, came to Louisville for a short time! we saw the place driving during the night, so my wife told me that we should stop by there at the next morning because outside offers nice style and we like to try authentic places. We were there for less than 20 min and my Latte was the best latte tried in those 4yrs. They offer European style and I though I was in Venezuela where you can taste coffee better than American Style and is because we have too much European influence, good taste, good stuff. All the staff is super friendly and seems that they enjoy working and serving there. I wish the best for this place and my message to the Management and Owners keep your team happy the rest is just easy. Ley

Fante's is a classy place. They have a niche as the meeting place. A few people like me working solo, but mostly small groups having meetings. They roast their own coffee and it is excellent. Ample parking and close to the freeway. I forgot to get photos though 😕

Asked for a Frappuccino cause I don't know anything about coffee and they hooked me up best coffee I've ever had in my entire life ever. Definitely worth the go

If I could give 6 stars, I would. In my travels, I have visited 200+ coffee outlets around the US since the pandemic. This by far is in my top 5. Service, food, atmosphere. The workers here take a personal interest in your enjoyment of their products. I stopped for coffee and ended up sniffing coffee bags and sampling cookies. I took the liberty of taking a few pics This is a must see/taste/sit/sip

This is the best coffeehouse in Louisville . The location, view, vibe, the parking. The 6 different seating environments (my count) inside and outside make for a unique experience. They have a smart setup to accommodate remote work while keeping a comfortable coffeehouse vibe in another area. The coffee is great! They roast their own in house. I do wish they had more food options as I tend to stay here for large chunks of time. The staff for the most part is warm and friendly. Fantes is the best in Louisville!

It was my first time at this place. It's a unique space they have and worth a try. I got a smoothie which was pretty good. I believe a lot of people come to the place to work and for meetings. They have some chess boards and that's fun. My main gripe is the service. It is slow. There is a lack of energy in that area of the business. I almost had to cancel my order for a salad which I waited about 40 mins for, when I was told it should only take a few.

Adorable! Obsessed with the domestic atmosphere here, and they really know their stuff with specialty coffee drinks. Absolutely delicious, reasonably mid-tier priced, a beautiful cozy spot, and wonderfully friendly staff.

My latte and muffin were very good; my husband didn't like his cappuccino. The overall ambiance of the location was great, though. The service was not particularly nice or welcoming. My group was there for two+ hours, and ordered multiple times. You just wait awkwardly while the coffee is made after you pay, and then carry it back to your table. We cleaned up our own table and took our cups back to order more coffee, and they made new drinks in our used cups (and charged us the same price as a new cup). I went to Haraz Coffee House last week, and they bring your coffee to the table and come around to clean up. So, kind of a mixed review- the physical space was charming and I personally enjoyed my coffee and muffin, but I did not feel like the service was friendly.

The barista was so sweet! We are from out of town and had our dog with us and she made us feel very welcome and was super accommodating. The cake and coffee we had was also delicious!

UPDATED: I recently started coming here to study! The drinks and pastries are yummy and the staff is really nice! Someone even came around to see if I needed my drink reheated! The little cookies on the side are a nice touch! Overall, a really nice vibe that I'm willing to drive 15-20 minutes for. More robust rewards system would be really nice! But I LOVE this place!

Superb place, simply superb. Notwithstanding the barista who was in a bad mood and lacked friendly customer service skills, the coffee is out of this world. The presentation is beautiful and the atmosphere is exactly what you want a coffee house to have - relaxed and inviting.

Such a beautiful, inviting, cozy place for coffee. The coffee is delish and they always have fun seasonal flavors to choose from. I love stopping in to write letters to friends or journal , the natural light that spills into the cafe is gorgeous and Dave is always super nice and makes me a great cup! Love it!

Best coffee I've been to in the Southern Indiana/ Louisville area. Visiting town for a training and trying different coffee joints to find the best taste, quality, and ambience. This one definitely wins for hitting all three categories. But the ambience... jazz playing, tables scattered in a way that takes me back to my teens when you'd go and hangout at a coffee shop and feel like older than you were. Where you'd go and study before there was wifi or Starbucks. Not flashy, quite simple. I enjoyed this very much.
