I stopped by here to share files with a friend on the Internet cloud. Today, I'm not going to write a review about the taste of coffee, but about internet speed. Of course, I should have uploaded a screenshot of the internet speed test result, but I'm sorry I couldn't and just forgot. Compared to Starbucks across the street, the upload/download speed seems to be about twice as fast. Five stars for the internet speed.

If you're a lover of organic coffee, then i feel like this is place is for you. My husband and i tried this place for the first time recently , we ordered the icebergs I got the mocha iceberg which i' m guessing would be medium size and my husband got the caramel iceberg. I am true coffee lover and with trendy coffee blended drinks i can still tell a strong,but not burnt taste off ground coffee. I can't say that we thought this place and it's coffee had a long lasting impression on us. I am not too sure we would go back here again.

This has been a good coffee shop in a great location. I only wish it stayed open a bit later to enjoy it in the evening.

ADA & City should fine this company and spank their Heine! Handicap parking CANNOT access either sidewalk or front door due to all the tables and chairs (and this photo is when there were no people and dog obstacles).

super chill place to hang with friends, get some work done, and drink good coffee. sweetest and most iconic employees in the whole world. 94/10 recommend.

One of my favorite locations around town. The folks are always nice and helpful if needed. This company is my favorite coffee spot in Louisville. I definitely recommend. Say forget Starbucks and get [good] coffe

Heine Brothers: Exceptional coffee, cozy ambiance, friendly staff. A perfect spot to unwind and indulge in delicious brews.

This is a great location! Plenty of seating options: window seats, booths, and regular tables. Plus, the staff are always so friendly and personable.

My favorite coffee shop to work! I'm a standing desk gal which I can reliably find a place to stand here. Management is great at this location and I can count on consistent drinks.

A bit pricey, but the Beekeeper is delicious. I don't agree with the owner at times, but the customer service is usually spot on.

Okay.. so I have not had Heine brothers in a little bit but I remember my last experience at this spot wasn’t the best either. The coffee is just not good anymore. I got a dirty chai latte and it literally taste like chemicals with sugar.. when I first moved to Louisville in 2016 Heine was great but has just progressively declined over the years.

I usually enjoy coming to this location but some of the workers during early afternoon shift seemed very passive aggressive about having to clean up after a customer who had used the bathroom. Also complaining about customers loudly behind the counter is not a good look

We stood at the counter without being greeted for several minutes. Three workers behind the counter: two on their phones and one drinking her drink. Once we were waited on, the drink I ordered was great and I always love the atmosphere at a Heine Brothers.

Sustainability Fraud! They DON'T recycle! Sticker on the SINGLE trash can (see photo) says to use recycling bin that was nowhere to be found in entire place. I asked cashier where it was she said they didn't have one so I tried to give my cup to her to recycle it and she said they don't recycle... Apathy begs question if their coffee is even organic and fair trade as advertised?!?

absolutely love this location!! we come here every sunday morning as a treat and we are always greeted by such lovely people! amazing staff and the best coffee here in louisville!!

My ice tea tasted like it was steeped for too long when they made the original batch. I have gotten this drink at a different HB and it did not taste like this. I had to toss it out. My husbands coffee was not hot when he got it but the flavor was good but he could easily drink it like it was any other drink. Also, had to use the restroom while I waiting for my order and it’s looked like it had been awhile since cleaning the restroom. The seat was dirty- under the seat- the seat was up when I got in( that didn’t bother me since they are unisex bathrooms). The sink was also unclean.

My coffee is always ready when I do the app order and it's done right. Staff is friendly and look forward to coming back

Out of stater visiting for family spring break. Poor service, coffee burnt & gross, and pastries...yuck. Most importantly....Beware of their To-Go cups!!! Once you pick them up the tops pop off with the slightest touch. Needless to say, 🔥HOT🔥 coffee all over your hand right in front of the staff. This was right at their register & not even a napkin anywhere or offered. If you even want to waste your time, & money with their coffee make sure to have a coffee thermos handy. Zero stars is more like it.

My favorite place to grab a coffee (it's wonderfully strong and full-flavored) and a pastry of some kind. The staff are incredibly friendly, funny, and efficient. Fun, modern atmosphere. I've lived in lots of places, and had a few places that I adopted as 'my' coffee shop. I'm happy to call this one mine.

Heine Brothers offers a great selection of coffee, drinks and pastries. The baristas are so kind and hardworking, so please make sure you tip them well.

Great location to order a tasty drink and work, particularly if you get a comfortable seat. Nice lighting in here and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

I work from home and my teenage children homeschool. Sometimes we just want to get out of the house and get a treat. My favorite, the midnight mocha always helps me to get past the midday slump. Lots of remote workers and students. Overall a cool, spacious space to work and stay caffeinated.

This was a great first coffe experience for me. I came in and was very nervous about what to get I'm not very familiar with anything coffee related but this nice girl named Anna helped me out amd made sure to let me know everything I needed to about coffee I absolutely loved her service I will be visiting again.

I was disappointed today, every time I ordered a large mocha iceberg, they done it perfectly except today, it was too runny. A SAD DAY. It was like the iceberg step was skipped. I tried again today and the large mocha iceberg is better, the top was still not enough iceberg. Yeah just not slushy enough. I might not order this again.

Like the location as I’m in the area a few times a month. Ordering from the drive up window is tough during rush hour. The window faces Taylorsville Rd and you got to shout it out. Love their Coffee of the day w/ a piece of delicious pecan swirl cake!

Great! Good selection of espresso drinks, baked goods, brewed coffee, etc. On my most recent visit I had a brewed coffee with cream and sugar, it was very good.

I used to love coming to this location (Taylorsville Rd) but they've undergone some staffing changes recently and it's apparent that they need more training or more help. Our coffee is consistently made wrong here as opposed to other locations and today through the drive-thru I received regular milk instead of oat milk (after paying for it) for the last time. For someone with allergies, this is unacceptable. I'll be going elsewhere from now on and driving a little further to do so.

The staff is super friendly but the tables are ALWAYS dirty! I'm a regular and know just to always bring wet wipes. There will be three people working behind the counter and none of them will come out to wipe a table and don't get me started on the floors under the table. Crumbs! Like I sayed the staff is really friendly but I'm tired of having to wipe up coffee spills and the previous costumes muffin off the table!

When I moved to Louisville I was really excited about the Heine Brother’s organic and fair-trade branding. Unfortunately, after learning a little bit about their employment practices, I will not be patronizing their businesses. Fair-trade is not philosophy that you can claim to espouse when you do not even pay your employees a livable wage. When you claim that giving them free coffee is a part of their earnings, when you do not schedule breaks, and work them the maximum amount of hours, just short of 40 hours a week, in order to maximize profits without giving them access to benefits of full time employment. It’s an absurd and shameful way to run a business.
