I’m a native to Louisville and my wife and I are always looking for ways to support our community thru buying things local… Wiltshire Pantry will not be receiving anymore business from my family after our experience there today. We went to enter the store and the first thing we were received by were yelling voices saying, “Do you all have masks???” I have no problem wearing a mask and wore one regularly during the height of the pandemic, but have not had one for a while, since the CDC guidelines changed. With that being said I let the employee know I did not and went to look for a disposable one (out of habit, since almost every store has them). When I didn’t see one I was told I could order online and wait outside. My wife ended up having a mask in our car so she proceeded to go in and order for the both of us. She ended up waiting for a while, unattended, and when she finally did receive our order (a cinnamon roll) it was dry and cold… Needless to say we were both very disappointed that this is a representation of our local community. It is not a hard thing to show kindness, professionalism, and to warm up a pastry.

Driest cinnamon roll I have ever had. I had wanted to try this bakery for a long time and was honestly more than disappointed. The server yelled at us from the door to say masks were required, but had no masks to offer us. They suggested we order from them online instead? Then I went through the trouble of finding a mask in my car and had probably the worst cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. Don’t bother offering half off day old pastries when your “fresh” ones taste like they have already sat out for a week. I’d pick Blue Dog Bakery over this place any day!

First time here and I will definitely be back! I had the vegetarian quiche and let me tell you it was the best quiche I have ever had and I am of an age where I have had many quiches over the years. The quiche here was melt in your mouth good. I also took a pastry bun home and shared it with my husband later. It was delicious and very buttery. Wonderful light breakfast place. I saw lots of to go orders and there is not a lot of seating so I understand.

I love living in walking distance of this café! Great coffee, an impressive selection of fresh, delicious pastries. Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. They also offer some lunch items, though I haven't managed to try those yet. Fast, professional service. A lovely place whether you want to stay a while or grab breakfast on the go.

I had a bit of free time so I figured I’d check it out for the first time, and I would definitely come back! They had a bit of space for people to hangout inside and outside, and the staff was very friendly! It was my first time there so I appreciated their patience. I bought some freshly made challah bread, a chocolate chip espresso muffin, and a personal strawberry balsamic pie. All the pastries looked so fresh and amazing, and I would’ve probably bought more if I didn’t have to rush out. Would recommend if you love a good pastry!

It’s aight, selection is mad small. I was looking for a good breakfast sandwich in the area, googled it, and this joint came up. Went and asked if we could get a breakfast croissant with the usual suspects (egg bacon sausage (pause)) and they hit us with a “no we don’t have those”. When u go make sure you get a seat because it gets packed. We copped a few things and got some hot chocolate. There was a snowman on my hot chocolate and thought of JEEZY. *JEEZY VOICE* AYYYY, CHEEAAAA, HAAA HAAAAA LETS GO! CANT BAN THE SNOWMAN ⛄️

As you can I couldn’t resist to bite the Maldon Chocolate chip cookie! This place is so warm and welcoming. I was introduced to so many treats and meals. Moderately priced and sweet baked goods! Would I come again? Yes.

The cakes I received from my daughter's birthday were well made and beautiful but not what I ordered. I placed an order for a strawberry sponge cake with vanilla or lemon buttercream, for both the guest and the smash cake, what I received was a lemon sponge with heavy lemon flavored buttercream. No one at the party really wanted to eat it because it was just lemon. Even the icing bees and roses. My daughter sort of enjoyed the cake but played with it more than she ate it. It was really disappointing because I wasn't able to tell until we cut open the cake at 6pm. It was absolutely beautifully decorated which is the only reason it's rated at 3. And if I liked lemon it would have been delicious.

My family and I have been going to Wiltshire since they opened at this location and it has always been such a fun and welcoming place to go. All of the staff, especially Teri (spelling?), have always been incredibly nice. My daughter loves going in and just to look at their spread of treats. It kind of reminds of that candy store scene in the beginning of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The atmosphere is very cozy and of course the food is the best. I hope Wiltshire is always around, I just love it.

Brought my girlfriend here after seeing reviews and was thoroughly underwhelmed. She got the egg and cheese sandwich and a side of bacon ($4 for 2 pieces!). The egg was cold and looked like it had been baked in an oven then left to sit for an hour or so. The bacon also seemed like it had been cooked early that morning then sat in its pan for too long--overcooked and greasy. The biscuit was more like a Red Lobster cheddar roll than a breakfast biscuit. The coffee was mediocre--a really surprising miss considering how many good coffee roasters are in Louisville. We wish we had saved our money and gone to Cracker Barrel before, instead of after Wiltshire.

I love their food but customer service could be better - placed a pick up order online, arrived at the time it said it would be ready, waited at the window where they put pick ups then after several minutes passed and multiple people dining in ordering food then receiving it, I approached staff told them that I was there for a pick up and my name, employee did not even verbally respond just gestured her head towards the pick up station and another staff member, presumably indicating that she was working on it. I then continued to wait patiently another 10 minutes until the chef asked me ‘Hey are you waiting for food?’ Only to discover that they did not receive the ticket for some reason..received email confirmation, double checked time and correct location, not sure what the issue and no biggie but just strange when the chef is paying more attention to customers than FOH. Love this place, will continue to support local, worked plenty of food service and know stuff happens, just leaving this review in case any staff actually read these to perhaps practice checking on a to go order before assuming it’s being taken care of because that simple step would’ve saved me like 17 minutes today while I had a kiddo waiting for me in the car. Thank you to very friendly chef! LOVE their food.

Wiltshire Pantry is the best lunch spot and bakery in the Germantown area. The food is a combination of classic baked goods + dishes with more innovative flavors and textures (like a curry chickpea salad sandwich with pickled beets 😍). I've never eaten something from here that I didn't love. The staff are also very kind and consistently go out of their way to accommodate customers' requests.

Yummy pastries and salads. ("Pop tarts" are my fave!) Cozy and warm atmosphere. Lots of seasonal flavors. Never boring. Off the beaten path. A true gem. One of Louisville's best places to eat!

We had Wiltshire Pantry cater the dinner and dessert for our micro-wedding this weekend. They were phenomenal! The staff were efficient, independent, and kind. They left the kitchen better than they found it. They went so far as to move all of the rugs in our kitchen and swept the entire room. The food was delicious. We have consistently heard from guests how it was the best wedding food they have ever had. They packaged up all of the leftovers for us, and we were so happy to find them in the fridge the next day to enjoy. They did an absolutely fantastic job, and I am so thankful to them. We will be using them for any and all future events!

The coffee was average, but the food was pretty good. My top choice (cheddar/chive/egg biscuit) was sold out, but I enjoyed the lox bagel. My partner got the kotti(?) wrap. The chocolate croissants and the butter croissants looked enormous! Unfortunately, there's so much you can try and eat in one sitting. Masks were not required for customers, but staff wore them. I would love to stop by this bakery again if I were in the city.

Great little bakery/cafe! The food was fantastic & the tea was terrific!! ☕🥐

How you treat people matters, even if you have a great product. Hostess was confrontational instead of informational about masks & there's no signage, it's Spring 2022. The process of how you pick and order your food isn't clearly laid out. Food? Amazing! But, ultimately how you treat people and make them feel matters.

Service was very friendly and food was worth the wait. Per another local guides recommendation, we got ham and cheese croissant along with quiche, salmon lox bagel and a tasty scone. Everything was good, the croissant was my favorite. The place has a quaint atmosphere and seems to have loyal regulars.

Ordered lunch to go: bean soup and steak sandwich. Nice quinoa salad. Pop tart was amazing as always.
