This little joyous diner is a non-profit through a local church called the Haven ministry. When you go in it’s got such a cute farmhouse feel to it! Very uplifting and well lit. Clean tables, flowers adorned.. they even hold church service here on Sundays. I got the biscuits and gravy, bacon, and country potatoes in it is not disappointing. The gravy is just Like grandma used to make!

Hidden Gem in the West End. I love Cup of Joy and the whole staff there. The coffee is delicious and made so many different ways you have to try them all! The food is amazing quality and taste at reasonable prices which is really hard to find these days. They have breakfast and lunch with great options for both. Hot Entree Specials change daily but they have a nice variety of sandwiches. Stop in and try out this fantastic local cafe.

I like the cappuccinos here, but every time I come to visit, I feel like I am in the move"Get Out!" The only person that is remotely friendly is the barista; I brought a piece of pie for $3.17, and it was a sliver of a slice ment for a child and not for a grown-up. If I give you my money for a slice of pie, I expect a "SLICE" of pie, not a sliver.

This establishment is literally a gift from God. An oasis of hope in a desert of despair. Their sincere love for the community is only eclipsed by their compassion for others. Good food and great people.

OMGosh! This place is Heaven sent! They have delicious breakfast and lunch. The best desserts includes muffins. Their Cafe is decorated very beautifully in christmas decor. The service is fabulous! It's in Portland and is a hidden gem! Just what the neighbors need. They are a huge help to the needy. Their hot drinks are so delicious. I can't wait to go back!

Great staff good cause amazing desserts- we wanted to support local charity establishments while visiting Louisville from Canada We opted to do lunch at another local charitable establishment but heard great reviews from them about the desserts at Cup of Joy. We are happy to say that their desserts brought us much joy - we had a banana pecan muffin a coconut cupcake and a buttery runny tart. They are all highly recommended. FYI while there we saw lunches being served which also looked delicious. The chicken and dumpling dinner seem to be a very popular item. Highly recommend

Cup of Joy reminds me of my father's church back home 🏑 in Bloomington Illinois!!! It was called The Jesus Coffee β˜• House 🏑 and I met my current husband there about 21 years ago. I LOVE πŸ’ž the atmosphere at Cup of Joy, ☺️ cause when I'm there I feel peaceful inside πŸ’  and I really need that right πŸ’― now in my life!!! Also the best thing about the church is the people I have met and that go there!!! I already feel like I'm part 〽️ of the family!!! Thank U n God πŸ˜‡ Bless everyone there!!!!!!! πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ’žπŸ˜‡πŸ˜ŠπŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ’―

First time going here this morning. I had a house coffee, which was hot and fresh, and ordered the biscuits and gravy, which were wonderful! The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. The staff was very friendly. They also sell local honey, which I purchased since I had in my mind that I needed to buy some soon anyways! I definitely felt the joy, so I'm happy to say that this place lives up to its name.

This place was great! During the recent wind storm, our church's power was knocked out for a few days. These wonderful folks opened their doors for us to have our weekly Bible study there when they would have been normally closed for the day.
