We’ve been Good Folks coffee subscribers since December, and have absolutely loved the quality of product we’ve received. We get 2 bags of single origin light or medium roast beans every 2 weeks, and look forward to our delivery every time. We’ve lived in New York and San Francisco, and this coffee is on par with the best we’ve had anywhere! Highly recommend.

We own Bae’s Baekery up the street, and tried calling about Wholesale Pricing. When mentioning that we would love to carry their products, we were treated by the gentleman on the phone in an extremely condescending manner, who presumed we couldn’t afford the coffee?… He stated we wouldn’t be a “good fit” because we had previous wholesale accounts with other local businesses that had coffee for $4 cheaper per pound. Sad, because we were absolutely thrilled and happy to upgrade for our customers, as well as supporting another locally owned business by paying full price. Paying a higher price for a better quality product is never an issue, but acting as if you’re above other businesses and assuming their budget without clarifying is incredibly unprofessional and presumptuous. Wouldn’t recommend to other local businesses.

The best coffee and the best folks ever! I have spent many hours studying at nearly every coffee shop in Louisville, and Good Folks coffee is my favorite. We now live in Washington State and subscribed to the coffee delivery. Our coffee showed up within three days of ordering and was freshly roasted and delicious. Couldn’t be happier, thanks!

I discovered Louisville's Good Folks through a coffee subscription service a couple of years ago, and now get my beans either directly from their website or from my local coffee roaster (I'm in Miami) almost exclusively. Good Folks' beans are always uniformly and impeccably roasted, arrive fresh, and make consistently delicious coffee, no matter the origin or blend. Outstanding quality. I can't recommend these guys enough!

This is my go-to place for coffee beans. You can't go wrong with any of their blends, but I'd recommend Day Tripper for those new to Good Folks or coffee in general. Day Tripper is beautifully balanced with a lot of "classic" coffee notes like chocolate and caramel. Of course, that's not to mention my favorite thing Good Folks Coffee has: Single origin coffees. In a year where I've been unable to travel it's been a real treat to taste coffees from around the world from the comfort of my home. The Guatemalan single origin from Doña Maria Velasquez's farm is a particular favorite, especially the light roast version. I cannot recommend it enough. I buy a bag every time I'm able to when I'm ordering from Good Folks Coffee because it's just that good. Their local pickup option is fast and convenient too.

Excellent coffee beans. Good variety w/ seemingly rotating availability, but in a way that keeps it fresh. Appreciate the ease of local pickup. The instant coffee was pretty good too when I went camping. Repeat customer planning and hoping to stay that way.

I just found Good Folks Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Natural. Wow, it is delicious. Light, fruity, almost tea like. I can hardly believe it took me this long to try it.

I have purchased many sets of beans from this company. They are always friendly and follow up. Orders arrive well-packaged and pretty promptly. Some offerings are better than others, but that's probably about finding your own tastes, rather than that the quality is off. The offerings are a bit limited, but change with the seasons; so, overall, you have plenty of options over time. I think this is a good company that deserves fans, and the prices are excellent. I've experimented with a lot of online companies, and these are the folks I come back to most often.

Theirs is the only coffee our household drinks now. They have our favorite blends and roasts, and even the texture of the beans is awesome quality. We love that they are local too! Thanks for doing what you do!

This is my favorite place to buy coffee from in Louisville. I think they're one of the best roasters in the city, and the prices are better than the other good roasters, especially if you're willing to pick up at the roastery.

Live in Dallas, TX and I have yet to find a roaster that produces beans as good as Good Folks. Fairly priced, consistent taste, and their website platform is user friendly.

Best single origin coffee in Louisville and always fresh af! And I mean like roasted the day before you pick it up fresh, not 4 weeks old at Jrader Toes “fresh.” The light roasts are the best I’ve ever had for pour overs hot and cold & Aeropress. Medium and dark are great in the French press. For anyone who wants high quality grounds at home and to support an actual Local Business it’s all well worth the cost.

Our favorite coffee by far. We love Fast Track roast the best. It is incredible coffee and an amazing price. We have grown to love the owners as family. Can’t recommend enough!

I have been order Good Folks for 4 years now and Day Tripper is my favorite of all to drink. Add a small pinch of brown sugar to the cup and you'll have the best coffee. Fast track is my second favorite for a strong french press or espresso's if you have an espresso machine. The Light roast are just as good too! I don't drink dark roasts so I can't speak to it, but based on the others I have tried, you can't wrong with this company!
