the new location feels like an airport gift shop, most physical media is condensed to a single display with a few shelves vs the large selection they had before. the employees are nice and this review isn't a reflection of them, but the "modernization" they did for this store ripped all character out and is a major downgrade from the previous location. obviously with the limited space you can't have as much stock... doesn't make it less disappointing though.

They were friendly and it’s still a nice bookstore, but definitely a downgrade from the old location. It’s so much smaller and there’s now no cafe area. I used to go do my schoolwork or art at the old store. I went last night to the new one on the other side of the shopping center and was disappointed. I brought my backpack and headphones to work on some art and there’s really no tables or anything. Plus, it’s all been “modernized” but it has lost so much character.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS LOCATION WILL BE MOVING TO A MUCH SMALLER SIZE STORE STARTING IN JANUARY OF 2023. THEY ARE MOVING INTO THE OLD PIER ONE STORE NEXT TO TOTAL WINE IN THE PADDOCK SHOPS. SO THE REVIEW MAY CHANGE DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH THEY STOP CARRYING. THEY ALREADT SAID DVDS, BLU-RAY'S AND VINYLS WILL BE GONE AND NO SEATING AREA FOR STARBUCKS. THESE WERE SOME OF THE THINGS THAT KEPT ME GOING BACK TO SHOP THERE A LOT....SO WE'LL SEE. THEY'VE ALREADY SIGNED THE NEW LEASE AND ARE LETTING ANOTHER COMPANY MOVE INTO THEIR OLD LOCATION THAT WE KNEW AND LOVED FOR OVER 20 YEARS!! Love everything about this store except their hours! They don't stay open until 9:00 like a lot of other stores around them do and they are really rude about rushing customers out 10-15 minutes before closing at 8:00 pm. I love browsing their books, dvd's, music, magazines, funko pops and gifts for everyone! The rewards program is awesome as well! They have a Starbucks inside so you can sit and have coffee and a snack while reading, just wish it was more relaxing instead of them constantly announcing when they will be closing! They are losing a lot of customers and business by closing early, especially on weekends when everyone is shopping! 😔

What a terrific bookstore. There's truly something for everyone here. More than books, they have games, toys and collectible items. It's fun to actually visit and see these items in person instead of always ordering online. I look forward to coming here again and again.

The "new" Barnes & Noble isn't nearly as interesting as it used to be. There were multiple racks of reduced price books of all genres, The store layout was customer-friendly. We used to shop there all the time but no more. Too cold & unfriendly.

We love this Barnes & Noble location. The children’s area is great for little ones to pick a story to read they can pick a toy to play with. Great location and great people. Go eat dinner and then walk to the bookstore. It’s a perfect evening.

New design is cramped. They're trying to emulate local bookstores, but it just doesn't work. They got rid of pretty much all of the movies. No more criterion sales.

The new location was a mistake. It makes the store feel very cramped inside and has no appeal. They have lost what made them great by this move. I have no interest in returning to this store, it’s just too sad and stock limited.

The smell of paper and print when you walk in the doors still makes me smile after all these years. B&N always has something of interest and I always walk away with a purchase. Books, puzzles, games, music, journals and toys... Yes you can get these things online but not curated like this. I buy everything else online but love going here just because.

This was my first time going to this location after they downsized from their much larger store. I loved it! The signage on the shelves was really nice. Very easy to locate the type of book I was looking for. Extremely well-organized design. They no longer have a coffee shop but Starbucks is just across the parking lot. I think I was browsing in here for almost an hour. I definitely will be back!!

I like the new branding and store design. It's modern, lighter and brighter. It feels easier to navigate and you can find most best sellers and new releases.

Great move! Neat, organized, quaint but spacious, and the shelves are loaded. Stop in and see for yourself.

Enjoyed variety of options in all the books and gifts. Of course the hot chai sets it all off. Happy woman here!

I love this place because you can find a good read for yourself, buy a latte from the Cafe, and find a cozy spot to turn a few pages of your new book!

Good selection of books and magazines. A useable coffee bar. The only negative is pricing. Of course someone has to pay for the brick and mortar store, so pricing will reflect that.

I love Barnes and Noble! I've gotten every single one of my books here. Every. Single. Book. They have every book, and they have tons of toys. You can find anything you need. The Starbucks inside is delicious and has fast service.

Was in the area and stopped in here. They had the book my daughter wanted. Over all a good experience. I feel like the cashier could've been a little more friendlier but she was not rude.

Love visiting bookstores, I always find more books than I should and spend more also. Great staff and inventory.

👍👍 Wow this little cafe is definitely a hidden gem! The food is amazing, good country cooking. The Fried green tomatoes are omg SO SO GOOD. The burger that my boyfriend got was huge and he said it was delicious. Their sweet tea is perfect and it’s just a fantastic place the quality of the food is real...
