As soon as we entered the shop the smell immediately brought back childhood memories. It comes of no surprise that the taste of the cookies brought the same warm feeling of when I was a child. The cookies tasted like home to me. The wholesome ingredients were the same type of basic simple ingredients my Mom used. The cookies are baked daily with fresh ingredients like real butter and nuts without added preservatives. The cookies were a delectable treat and we were honored to have met the owner & baker Elizabeth Kizito!

I did not meet the owner … which was great, just watching videos and interviews of her… I would have spent another $80 in there lol. I got cookies and jewelry I’m so happy I stopped by while on my road trip and passing through bards town road!

I came across a show called, Little America.. Watched The Baker.. I hunted down the web site and ordered 1 dozen cookies (Chocolate Chocolate Chip) Super Fast Shipping and now I'm back and I just ordered 2 more dozen cookies..

Kizito is delicious! I love buying the cookies as gifts for friends, children, and even as awards for small events I host! Nothing lights up someone's face quite like seeing a giant Kizito cookie in their gift bag!

I just received my 1st order of cookies & they are more amazing than I expected! They are comparable, if not BETTER than the fresh baked, from scratch cookies I get up the road at Disneyland! This is one of the most lovely spots to stop in Louisville. The staff and owners are wonderful people, the baked goods are unparalleled, and the items for sale in the shop are so beautifully unique.

Two words delicious cookies muffins and biscottis of different flavors made from the hands of the motherland... Mount Kilimanjaro gingersnaps on my favorite, all cookies are made fresh, and as an extra bonus there are so many African artifacts to choose from jungle animals carved from wood, staff /scepter, walking sticks, jewelry trees, mask, necklaces, earrings and rings, hats and clothing so take a tour and have a taste of Kizito😋

The oatmeal cookie is one of the BEST oatmeal cookies I've ever had in my life. I live in Chicago and just tried these for the first time. Absolutely amazing!

I ordered a dozen cookies online, and boy am I glad I did! These are insanely delicious! Each flavor is tasty! I normally stick to chocolate chip, but glad I ordered a variety. Will be ordering another dozen sooner as well as some brownies.

We purchased a snickerdoodle, ginger snap, white chocolate chip, and oatmeal cookies. These cookies were recommended to me. I thought the snickerdoodle needed more sweetness. I must not like ginger snap cookies but they smell great. The oatmeal cookie was dry. The white chocolate chip cookie was quite good. The service was good. The cookies just did not match my taste.

Such a lovely discovery for us. We were walking by and smelled the wonderful aromas through the screen door. The guy delivering a pallet of wheat flour told us “You’ve got to go in there!” We did and truly Elizabeth is as nice in person as any write up could say. We bought some and had a photo op with her! A Gem of a business and Lady.

Met the owner at a Redbirds game a decade or two ago, also at the,State Fair...selling her cookies. Nice lady and very good cookies. Is a peanut butter cookie in the future for Kizito Cookies? I'd probably buy them all!!

We had waon a trip to Bourbon & Beyond from Louisville Tourism board and were staying down the street at The Myriad Hotel. We went to breakfast at Highlands Morning and had a wait to be seated so we took a stroll and ended up here at Kizito Cookies. They had so many delicious cookies, the sugar Cooke was my favorite. The gentleman at the counter was very polite and kind and offered us a brownie that was good also! They had many neat crafts for sale as well. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My grandmother always took me to Louisville Bats games religiously when I would visit from PA for the summer. It’s been 10+ years since I have been back to a game, and I have craved her cookies so many times throughout the years. Watching her effortlessly carry the cookie filled basket on her head up and down the stadium aisles was always something that completely mesmerized me. I was thrilled to find out she ships and my heavens do they take me back! Not a single thing has changed about these cookies and they truly are the absolute best!

The best cookies ever! The Owner was inside one of the many times I’ve came in. She was so sweet. The other employees are always nice and helpful when I come in.

I've been a big fan of these cookies for decades!! My most favorite is the Deluxe Oatmeal (in fact, I'm eating one right now!). Nowhere else would I list Oatmeal cookies amongst my favorites, but the coconut in this one puts it at the top of my list at a place that has SO MANY great choices!! But I really only want them if they are ultra fresh and chewy! I also agree with others here who have sung the praises of your biscotti. Not a huge fan of that type of cookie, but yours are the best I've ever had...and I'm old (lol)! Keep up the great work!!

The cookies (at least the packaged ones I’ve had from the pharmacy) are quite dry. I have never been to the actual store, so for all I know I could have been eating stale ones. I just don’t recommend getting the packaged cookies at the pharmacies. I bet the treats at Kizito Cookies are much better, and live up to the 4.9 stars.
