One of our favorite places to go and watch a concert . The location is easy to get to and parking is usually simple and close.(depending on who is playing ) The lawn is always well kept and they have Picnic tables and benches to sit on. ( if you arrive early enough) The stage is centrally located so everyone can see, no matter where you are seated and you can hear the music playing . They have vendors to buy food and drinks ( quite pricey tho) if you get a notion . Concerts usually last till about 11 or 11:30 .

Plenty of space for dogs to be off leash and go frolick in the water, chasing ducks. Clean. Easy parking.

What a great place in Louisville! Visited the park for the Kentucky Derby Festivities. Lots of food, fun, and entertainment. The kids enjoyed the Midway attractions and watched the Balloon Glow. Great weather for the evening and the park was clean for visitors. Parking nearby was $20 and the event had security.

This sprawling community waterfront park along the Ohio River is exceptional. Acres of concrete, grassy knolls, pea gravel walkways, water fountains, playground equipment, bicycle paths welcome a wide array of activities. This area frequently host's farmers market, running, cycling, live music and homemade wares for sale. Rent a bike and easily see the expansive area or recline in a hanging bench seat.

I love this place! I take my son here often during every single season except when it snows. The great lawn is a great place to run around and scooter as well as walk by the river. The park is right next to it and the walking bridge is right down the path. It's a great place to get out, and get some exercise and have some fun on the waterfront. Also, we love coming here as a family for many of the free and paid events that go on for everyone. We have made so many wonderful memories here and since we are living in Louisville for the time being it's one of our favorite places to be.

We've had an annual Ford UAW picnic at the Great Lawn(Water Front Park). Thankfully, the weather wasn't too hot or rainy. They served us with Ham sandwiches, hot dogs 🌭 and soft drinks.

Thunder over Louisville April 22, 2023. Great Lawn Harbor, downtown Louisville, KY A spectacular event with world class air show starting at 3p and incredible fireworks at 9:30p. The largest fireworks display in the U.S. coupled with Top 5 Air Show make this a must-see thing on your bucket list.

I had a blast at the Pitbull concert on Waterfront Park's Great Lawn! Despite some technical glitches, the energy of the crowd and Pitbull's performance made the night unforgettable. The setup ensured great views for all which is really nice, and the convenience of trash cans everywhere and bathrooms was a plus. Overall, an electric and thrilling experience! The only negative would be the VIP experience. GA was fine, no issues there, but apparently the seating for the VIP crowd was way off to the side and further away. Idk maybe people like not being close to the stage, but if you want to enjoy watching the show, do NOT get VIP, get general admission.

Spent the 4th of July for the first time and we had a blast. After a long day at Kentucky kingdom we had to see the fire works somewhere, so the locals sent us here. Their firework show was off the charts, the food selection was amazing, the beer selection was huge, however parking was a disaster. It took over an hr to find a spot, that cost 20.00, then getting out, OMG, iv never seen anything like it other than in apocalyptic movies. Its was a true DISASTER. we will plan better next time and park futher away. Other that the apocalyptic parking we had a blast. Iv truly never felt the boom of the fireworks. And they lots of band playing. You can drive your boat right us to the river front. It was amazing how they shot these fireworks from a barge in the middle of the river.

Nice setup for summer concerts. They always have tasty vendors and of course alcohol stands that make the ambiance of the concert 10 times better. Read the rules before you go! They often have purse restrictions on size. This particular concert allowed lawn chairs. Know before you go! Especially if you opt to Uber there!

Very scenic park convenient to downtown. Lots of festivals held here. Great views of the new suspension bridge.. It has a huge railroad bridge across the Ohio River that has been converted for pedestrian use.

We had a blast playing volleyball at the park. This is a great spot for people to gather for fireworks and concerts at the waterfront. I also think it is great for long walks and picnics.

Unorganized event, long lines to enter, food vendor lines long. VIP was a joke. They ended up letting everyone come down front by the end of the night. Funk fest 2022
