Pretty spot on the river by the bridge can walk up to memorial statue. Statue is large.

Fantastic monument to a great Kentuckian - don't miss the impressive bas-relief tablets leading up the walk. On first view, it looks like his head and feet are too big but whatever, it's a great place to sit and think/eat/talk/rest and the quotes on the steps are very inspirational, especially at times like these.

I'm a tourist, what can I say. Traveling is all about the enrichment of ourselves through experiences.

Who doesn't like monuments for Abraham Lincoln? The statue captures him as a young man unburdened by his future responsibilities. Some of his most famous quotes still resonate today.

“A house divided against itself cannot stand." Some wise words that are definitely needed in the political climate of today. Probably one of my favorite statues that I have seen because it's Lincoln. It's located near the Waterfront Park walkway and the Four Bridges and I would definitely add this as a stop along your visit here. Get some history, snap a few pics, and enjoy some fresh air. Good stuff!!

A great trip across the Ohio River. Spacious, well lit, and safe.

Interesting monument that packs a lot of history in a small space. Easy walk. Abe Lincoln was our first Republican president and the first third-party candidate to win the presidency. Must check it out!
