The swings are NOT accessible, they are chained/locked together and have been since restrictions due to covid-19 took place. HOWEVER - The slides, monkey bars and rest of the playground IS accessible. The biggest slide on the playground IS DANGEROUS! It is weak and is LITERALLY falling apart. At the top just as you climb in, it is deteriorating and SHOULD NOT HAVE CHILDREN ON IT THAT ARE UNSUPERVISED OR THAT WEIGH MORE THAN 70-80lbs MAX! I would RECOMMEND THAT PARENTS DO NOT LET THEIR KIDS GO DOWN IT UNLESS THEY ARE RIGHT BEHIND THEM & LITERALLY ON THE PLAYGROUND WITH THEM, being on the ground or sitting on the benches IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR YOU as THEIR PARENT and or guardian TO DO. AGAIN, IT'S NOT SAFE, IT IS LOOSE, AND THE TOP OG THE SLIDE IS FALLING THROUGH. The rest of the playground is okay and is just as I said, okay. AND the water fountain is running, it also has a water bottle fountain/filler that BOTH work, BUT the restrooms remain closed and are NOT accessible. There is a family area for things like birthday parties and events ect. It's got plenty of tables and a roof above to keep you dry if it were to rain, but is not enclosed so it won't keep you warm during chilly weather.

This park might have been designed for play, but in 2022 this park is a straight death trap. Enter if you dare, or can get around the yellow police tape...

Great park, well maintained. It has everything you could need, - a fence around the playground area - open to the park, but keeping kids from directly straying into the busier adjacent roads; - a playground; - a covered pavilion - every Sunday at 1:30pm FNB gives away free produce, and other supermarket goods; - tables; and, - grills. There's also a basketball court and a large open grassy area if you want to toss a Frisbee around or pass a football. It's a park that's good for whatever the weather brings.

It's a good park. Big pagoda, tables, water sprays in the summertime, and Food Not Bombs comes every Sunday at 1:30pm. Everyone is welcome.

I come here on Sundays because of the Healthy Foods giveaway. I help a volunteer organization who puts out fresh fruits, vegetables and much more for anyone who needs or wants it.

The park is in need of serious attention 😒. Do not let your kids on the play equipment. And it s not a park for kids @ 5 and under the slides or way to high off the ground. However the water sprinkler are a real nice fit .
