Riot skatepark is my son's new favorite indoor park. We were traveling from Virginia and decided to visit Riot. The shop was great. My son got a board and some new wheels, plenty of choices. The skatepark was so much fun. My son loved the 11 foot half pipe. We ended up going 2 days in a row. The second day the owner Floyd went above and beyond. My 7 year old went into the shop and asked him for help with something. Floyd proceeded to help him for about 3 hours one on one. He is an amazing instructor and teacher. I offered to pay because he does have skateboarding classes, but he refused my money and just did it to help my son. With help from Floyd my son learned a rock and roll, some tricks on the spine, and a few flat ground tricks. I am so impressed by Floyd's passion and dedication. It was amazing how he worked with and encouraged my son. I cannot thank him enough. He made our trip from Virginia worth the drive. We cannot wait to come back.

Being an older person I'm happy to find things in the skate shop that fit my tastes as far as the reissues and bigger wheel sizes. Other shops have said they won't carry the old school stuff because it's just a fad but being able to find that stuff locally is what has gotten me back on a board. I will always give Floyd the majority of my money when buying locally. He's never scoffed at me when I've asked about a brand, item or shoe size (I have super small feet) out of the norm of the typical guy skater.

Im an older guy and I skated in my youth and I've decided to start skating again. I went in knowing what decks from Street Plant and Black Label I wanted to check out and he had the wheels I knew I wanted from Street Plant. I went in for wheels and a deck and i ended up walking out with a complete! Lots of decks, even more wheels and a decent selection of trucks and bearings(all the staples, nothing crazy). If you cant find wheels in here you didn't try, they've got alot. Simple hardware and selection. Prices were better than online since I bought local and saved on shipping (and waiting). Even got a free Monday Skate Class with the purchase of my complete deck.

Great place for all skaters. I feel safe dropping my kids off under Floyd's supervision and guidance. The Tiny Shop is my go-to place for anything skateboard! Would recommend over and over!

Great place to skate. Got the 9.13 Andy Anderson deck I had been looking for from there shop. Alot of movable equipment like rails and curbs. Great transitions a halfpipe and mini ramp. They had a bowl being constructed when i visited can't wait to skate it. 10 dollars a 3 hr session. They have a girls night half price for girls.

Incredible atmosphere with an amazing owner. Taught me how to drop in within an hour during the Monday 5-7 lessons. Would recommend this place for skaters of any level because this place definitely rocks. Also, check out the huge selection in the skate shop!

Floyd is awesome! Super helpful and knowledgeable. Has a great understanding of how to inform people on specific of skateboard products and is helpful and kind to the kids. Plus their skate park is a great place to session. Kids can get lessons too.
