My wife took a new job in Louisville while we were still living in Illinois. I called place to place looking for a place to park our camper so my wife could start her job while i was in Illinois with our kids until we could sell our house and purchase a new home in KY. I called and spoke with Annie who assured me that my wife would be safe and she would do everything she could to help out if it was needed. We reserved our spot. We pulled the camper 4 hours to be greeted with a smile. The campgrounds were clean everyone was super friendly and Annie did as promised. My wife stayed at there for two months with back and forth travel to Illinois. Never once did she feel unsafe. It is definitely a diamond in the rough. Annie was an absolute sweetheart, easy to talk to and always was kind. If you are thinking about a place to park your camper for short visit or a long visit this is the place. The only complaint was the air traffic would get a little loud but that is something they could not control. Thank you again Annie for taking such good care of us.

Love this place like V location don't like the trains and I don't like the plane that are flying over right over top of our trailer other than that great place and the only other issue I would say I have the visit Park cuz it's a nice one it is unfortunately there is a quarry in behind it and they make blacktop and I was under the assumption that it was not really a working quarry let the manager of the park is very very nice the people in the park are very nice there's never any trouble no violence never really see police cars so that's always a plus it's not the parks fault for the planes I Blame UPS all day everyday it's like you darn Lowe but yes recommended for full-time stay or short staff come see us you here! Sorry for the mishap on the Stars I did mean to put four stars everything that I wrote in my review seem to be on par it is a decent part to stay in as I said I felt safe it is out of your control as to the plains and The Rock Quarry the only issue is is that we were told that it was inactive and unfortunately that was not the case and we were right up against it and the smell of blacktop was very very strong that would have been my biggest issue as well as the rent increase only having been there for a few months three or four months and to have a rent increase after we took down some of the trees that were over top of the trailer and cleaned up a lot as best we could Landscaping in what not until we ran into the issue with ticks and poison ivy and unfortunately I'm severely allergic so I cannot go any further but as far as the park stay it is a nice park and Annie is very helpful and it is very clean and safe and yes I would recommend it to anyone who needs a spot to stay I just could not afford to stay at that amount with the smell of asphalt everyday I could not even open my windows unless it was raining and then of course you can't open your windows but that's the only time the plant would close or the rock quarry should I say otherwise very nice place

Only stayed for one night. Annie was able to put us on a pull-thru site so we didn't have to unhook the car. She even flagged us in and took us to our site on her day off. Great service.

Plane's, trains and rock query? Yea, planes fly over cause its next to a major air field, its next to train tracks sounding horns at crossings and a rock query humming all night! The upside is u have a nagging lady that wants u to keep things off ur camper and the underpinning is to her liking? Pretty much a nit picker! Washer and dryer works half the time, cant put cardboard in trash dumpster, no more than two people allowed in camper, no more than two vehicles and one has to be a truck? Im pretty quit and reserved so i dont say a whole lot but i guess some people just like being annoying! Oh and dont be surprised if ur rent gets raised for no reason or just take her word for the price of the utilities bill? I gave them a 2 star because she did let me use her latter and gave us a sewer pipe!

We were here for our granddaughters basketball tournament. We have never Been to Louisville so we didn’t know what kind of place this was as we live near Baltimore. This campground is well taken care of by two ladies who do a great job! Annie is so sweet and accommodating! All of the sites have full hookups and a picnic table, but no cable which is fine because we weren’t in our camper much. The place is quiet except for the occasional planes and trains which didn’t bother us at all. Our daughter and family were allowed to visit without checking in and paying a fee. And the place has beautiful twinkle lights at night. If you don’t need a pool, playground or store (there is a Dollar General within a mile) this is a perfect place.

This little park is a hidden gem. Clean, large spaces, and decorated very cute. Each site has its own picnic table area and plenty of space to park big tow trucks. I’ll definitely be staying there on our next visit to this area. The camp host Ms. Annie is very welcoming.

Annie is amazing. We only stayed a night but she let us know anything we might expect and treated us like family. Best place to stay RV wise near Louisville.

We are current residents and just can't say enough about this place. Our intention was to stay short term while our house was being built. It's taking much longer than anticipated but Mrs. Annie is a master at making you feel at home. She treats us all like her kids and goes well beyond taking amazing care of this park. The location is great! It's convenient for errands but not right in town. We will happily stay right here until our house is done.

It is well laid out. Lake spaces. Seams safe and well kept. Noisy. But with the windows closed. It's not bad.

We had an awesome experience camping at Brooks Rv Park! Their staff, Annie, was the best customer service we’ve ever experienced at an RV park and we’ve RV’d all over the country for 20 years. We had a serious technical problem with our Motorhome having to extend our stay 2 extra days and she physically helped us fix it, spending hours helping us over those extra 2 days until the problem was fixed and we were safe to leave. Her hospitality, kindness, and management skills are something you rarely see anymore anywhere. I truly feel we made not only a friend in her, but I feel like she is family now the way she treated us. Our experience at Brooks RV Park will never be forgotten and we are grateful for the experience and feel blessed we met Annie. Thank you Annie!

Annie was like family, super caring & helpful. She led us to a larger sight to accommodate our A class & tow vehicle. She offered points of interest & runs a tight ship. Her park is very clean & tidy! Good job Annie! You can tell this park means a lot to you 💕we’ll be back!

We were here in April for 4 nights. We were situated right outside the laundry/office so we didn’t have our own picnic table and I don’t think anyone had fire rings. Also, the garbage bins were a block away, but I took the dog for a walk and killed two birds with one stone. While walking around the park, I noticed some really nice permanent RVs and some not so nice. The nice on s had really pretty solar lights and they lit up the park very nicely. Very quint. Annie was very helpful getting us in our site and our wifi was strong, which is a big plus for us! Would stay here again!

I realize I showed up at 5:30ish on a Saturday evening. Past experience with RV parks across the entire United States made me think, "Should be ok, if they have openings, there should be a sign stating which sites are open. We can square up in the morning." Nope. Found camp host site. Called number on sign. Message states day off is Saturday! A current resident, desiring to be helpful, stirs poor host out of camper. I am mortified but let her know I realize after listening to the message it was her day off. Gee, sorry about that. She responds, "Yes, this is my day off. Office closed. I can not help you." I am stunned into silence. No, offers to just park in one of 15 open spaces and see me in the morning. No, alternatives, just we are closed. I left promptly to seek a spot at Cracker Barrel for the night. This is my story and experience. Take it or leave it.

Rv park is very nice. Clean and quite. Planes and trains go by, but a very nice change from hearing trucks on the highway. Annie ( the manager ) is one of the nicest and most helpful people you could meet. We have enjoyed our stay.

RV park was clean and our site was big. The site manager was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Now, the manager did warn us about the Train and Air Planes flying over. If you're a light sleeper, this might not work for you. I do think $50/night is a little high for this location.

Well I haven’t moved there yet but when I called and spoke to Annie she set me straight. I’m considering going to full time RV living and as a person who is thinking of going to a RV she was more then helpful. As a police officer here in Louisville happy to know people are helping each other … even if it isn’t what I choose to do! Thank you Annie for your time today. I truly appreciate your guidance. Laura

Annie the camp host was the best thing about this RV park. The location is good if you want to tour the distilleries. The reason for the 3 star rating is a busy train track a few hundred feet away. very close to a busy airport. Shooting range fairly close to the South, and an asphalt plant on the hill across the street to the North. Big rigs can get around, some sites are a little close. Wifi not good in the outer sites. Full hook up's 50 amp We paid about $47 a night it may have gone up. I realize the negatives are not their fault but have to give an honest review.

We just stayed here for one night I would definitely come back again even with the noise. I felt safe and it's in a good location. Annie is super!!! They let me know about the noise before I reserve the night. Thanks

First class park, first class park Manager Annie, Very professional and friendly owners. Park is manicured, clean, safe. Park manager Annie is up to date, very friendly, professional and goes overboard to help patrons and guest with any and everything. Very modern with reservations and availability. Owners stay on top of business and run a clean safe operation. Park is surrounded by a beautiful creek and even saw some deer crossing, very easily accessible from interstate with good roads to park and around park, spots are very well designed and laid out. Location make is nice to make quick trips to Louisville to track or other attractions, Good restaurants within a couple of miles. Only recommendation is a upgraded WI fi, but phone very good signal and no problem hot spotting. Recommend staying at Brooks at any time. LT

I ran out of money to dry the rest of my clothes so went to grab more where i was held up at my shop for a few hours…. I came back to move clothes over and the nicest employee had moved them over for me and bagged them up. She said we didnt want them to mildew. This was the best experience i have ever had a laundromat in my entire life! Not to mention the prices are so reasonable

Awesome stop for a few days en route back to VA. Annie is a gem! True southern hospitality at it's finest that we greatly missed being on the road for the last year. Beautiful area, convenient to Louisville and other nearby restaurants. Gravel and concrete sites, all level, FHU, and actually big rig friendly as we live and travel in our 47ft rig and had no issues. We even were aloud to wash our rig! (Most places don't). I would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future. Yall were awesome! Thank you so much for accommodating us somewhat last minute!

Run down. Pictures are old and not accurate. Don’t waste your time or money here. They will not return your security deposit for obscene reasons. Then try to make you pay a power bill on top of it. On top of the already high rent. Location is mediocre at best and staff is rude. Look elsewhere.

The park don’t look like the photos they show. They’re good size lots with pads to park your RV on. The train tracks are very close and busy, a train goes by 7 or more times all day and night and it’s very close to the airport with plane’s landing very low over the park so if you’re looking for peace and quiet you can forget this place. The parking for each lot is plenty big enough for 2 vehicles but they insist on $35 a vehicle for anything over 1. Also you can forget getting your deposit back, I guarantee you they’ll be some reason that they’re going to keep it. As far as the other campers there I meet some very nice ppl and everybody minds their own business. The park has its good and bad points but with the planes, trains and shooting range just down the street it was a bit much noise for me.

This campground is very small and sites are close together. There are no amenities. If you are looking for somewhere for a quick stop or just a day or two layover, it is fine, but there is nothing to do at the campground, but listen to the trains through out the night. The tracks are less than 1/4 mile from the campground. When the trains finally quiet down, the planes start flying in to the airport. Sleep was a challenge to say the least. It seems to be more for extended stay, and the people who we spoke to were nice, and it felt safe.

Nice little campground! Annie was very nice and let us in after hours. Need a bath house for people who are traveling and don't want to fill up their holding tanks, especially in the winter months.

The site and services were great and of course Annie (the manager) was super helpful and friendly! However.... the noise!!! It is very close to the train track, and the trains are very frequent and blow their whistles as they pass by (very annoying at night). The planes are non-stop and loud (very annoying at night). There is a quarry next door that starts up at 7am every morning. Other than that... it is a good location for visiting Louisville and area.
