I had the southern burger which was pimento cheese, bacon and spicy pickles. Homemade fries for my side and the meal was delicious! Highly recommend!

I saw that Grind Burger had been on TV, so I needed to see if the hype was worth it. I got the B&B burger. It was so good! It was easily one of my favorite burgers ever. The fries were also great. I recommend getting the habanero may for dipping the fries!

Good food but carry out is usually wrong! Why have all kinds of options for online ordering but ignore the requests? Completely forgot a kale salad and bacon. We should know we need to check the order before leaving. great response but we won't be back!

Found this place just walking down the street. Wow!!!! Featured on Diners, drive-ins, and dives. I got the Cuban. It was a huge hit to all that tried it at the table. Grilled cheese melted in our mouths. B&B burger diner style was yummy. Brussel sprouts were a popular side at the table. Loved the fries. Prickly pear drink was strong but good. We all agreed we have to go back!! Staff was so nice and helpful! 10/10

Perhaps the most overrated burger place in Louisville. This is my second time here. Burger was no where near the 1/3 pound advertised on menu. Fries were not very fresh. The beer I ordered was a little flat. Zero atmosphere.

Seeing the other reviews on Grind burger kitchen we were excited to finally try it. They were under staffed, so we waited a about 40 minutes for two burgers... a couple beers and good conversations. I hate to say though the wait was not worth the burger. The burger was over cooked and crispy on the edges like it was smashed onto the grill with a spatula. Not a great combination. The flavors were average, but good ideas. Fries were good and glad to see support on the beer menu for local breweries. Kind of an odd vibe as far as decorating and layout goes. Overall 3 stars because I'd be willing to give it another shot hoping it would be better next time

Worth the wait. Food was incredible. Even though they were short-staffed, the wait team were attentive and kind. Highly recommend the Southern burger.

First try here. Came in around two pm on a Tuesday and missed the lunch rush. One of three people in the restaurant. Staff was kind and service quick! Had the veggie burger without cheese and doubled my side so I could try the fries and brussel sprouts. Burger was okay. The patty was small but thick, and well made! Toppings included ketchup, one leaf of lettuce, once slice of tomato, and four red onion slices (I took off). Would have loved to have more under the bun. Fries were on the super crispy side with some bits having been in the oil too long. Lots of crunch and no potato softness on the inside. Good salting on them though. The brown butter brussel sprouts were the better choice. More favor, but swimming in the oil sause at the bottom. My overall takeaway - really good veggie patty. Get Brussels instead of fries.

I am a Louisville native but have spent the last few years traveling before coming back, and I had been craving Grind the entire time away. As someone who doesn't eat beef, I am always on the lookout for a good alternative burger. I can say with certainty that Grind has my favorite veggie burger I've ever had - it's spiced perfectly, has a perfect texture, and is incredibly filling. Don't get me started on those brussel sprouts, either. Perfectly cooked, sweet and salty, just delicious. I recommend the fries and every dipping sauce they have, too. (Don't skimp on the sauce. Pay the extra amount. It's worth it, I promise.) They always have a good selection of beer, as well.

This was a solid restaurant in a fun place. They do seem to have a love for spicy things, but I don't think you *have* to get something spicy. My husband got a burger with spicy pickles. The burger meat was fantastic! So flavorful and tender. I tried a fish sandwich with spicy slaw and avocado. The fish was fantastic. Fried to perfection, piping hot (don't burn your mouth!) and so tasty. The spicy slaw didn't seem to add anything except heat, and the avocados on the sandwich were, unfortunately, overripe and had a ferment-y smell, so I picked them off. The fries were good and crispy, though. Overall a solidly good experience, and we would eat here again.

One of the best mushroom beef burgers I ever ate. I’ll be back, definitively. I ate it so fast I couldn’t do a picture. But I took the picture to the chicken sandwich, and it’s also amazing. Sorry, I know the picture is not great. But the food is. Maybe not cheap, but you got what you pay. Worth it

The food was okay. Fries were not fresh, maybe they would be good fresh, I wouldn't know. The portions were small for the price. It was similar to a burger from a chain restaurant that doesn't specialize in burgers. Also, the service was quite poor while we were there. It could have just been a perfect storm of unlucky events, but there are too many other places to eat to give it a second try.

First Impressions; Lovely spot, nice area and has out door seating as well if it's a sunny day. The staff was fast to seat us and came by for our order very quickly. Honestly it was race car fast. We have been trying plain burgers to test the flavor of the patty. They brought out a smash burger and it was delicious! The bun was heated to perfection and served w/ side of fries. Lovely place and if you run into Lydia she's the BEST!! Also I took a picture of the empty plate because it was so good I couldn't wait!!! 8.5 - 10!!

Excellent experience! The staff was amazing. We have 2 kiddos with Celiac Disease and they are unable to have gluten. The staff was very knowledgeable about cross contamination which is a blessing to us. The food was INCREDIBLE! I got the adult grilled cheese and have been thinking about it for weeks!! The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, but they are extremely Covid-safe which is an absolute for us.

We stopped by here for food and it was a great decision! Attentive staff and the cocktails were amazing. We ordered the "Chai to Stay on the Beet" and "With Regards to Pie Season" and they were both delicious. For our entree, we split the pork burger with the Brown Butter Brussles. Burger had a great flavor and the Brussels were pretty good too. We split a Black Forest Cake for dessert and it was decadent and a good size to share. Definitely recommend coming here.

Great food and service! Though crowded, our orders (Party of 5) arrived quickly, hot, and as ordered. Kudos to our server Brooke! Quiet, unintrusive, but attentive service! Atmosphere a bit loud but, heck, what restaurant isn't these days?!

Man this place is loud. And not just because it's busy, it's just always loud. Food is excellent if more than a tad over priced considering what you get. Service is solid. If you don't mind dropping $20+ for a burger and fries, Grind will serve you a good one. Not sure how much longer they can ride the Triple D hype train but ride it they are. (Response to the owners response: Let me be clear, Grind makes delicious food. If a burger can be worth $20, theirs is. BUT, your need to constantly justify the price indicates to me you are aware you are charging too much for a burger and fries. You go so far as to put it ON THE MENU. Along with pointing out which items were featured on Triple D. So let's stop pretending you aren't charging more than most people can afford to pay for a burger and fries and not still trying to ride that hype train. We aren't dumb. Having said that, if you are charging too much because you actually pay your employees a living wage, then I'm fine paying it. Restaurant workers should be paid sufficiently for the work they do. And as long as you stay busy, keep it up. I love seeing a small local business having success. Thus the 4 star review. I knocked 1 star off for the value. Cause it's borderline. And the noise. Cause damn. But otherwise, keep up the good work. And for those reading, if you can afford it, go to Grind. It really is delicious. And loud.)

This place is a hidden gem! The burgers are unreal. I had the B&B burger diner style (traditional double smash) sooo good! We sat at the bar and Kyle was so welcoming and the unofficial ambassador of disc golf! We were here for 2 hours and had a blast. Great conversation and amazing food wins every time!

We were told at the door, as we were when seated, that the wait for food was about 40 minutes. We appreciated the heads up and decided to stick sound. Server was attentive but not hovering. They have a good NA beer. The burger was terrific. Juices, crispy on the edges, great flavor. Well worth the wait. The Cuban was just as good. We were so happy we waited. And so appreciative of the info re the wait. A class act.

I have been coming here since they were a food truck. It's always been high quality, creative, refined stuff. Today I had a prime rib sandwich special and it was absolutely phenomenal so much that my foot cramped up from my toes curling.. it's like that. Suggested items: the southern burger, the Cuban sandwich, any specials they have. Recommended!

Grind was very good. I'm glad I went. I had the B&B burger. The meat had a nice crust, but was still pink in the middle, as ordered. The flavor combination was excellent. I had to make an effort to slow down and savor it! The fresh cut fries were very crispy. I ordered a side of the smoked ketchup, and ghost pepper mayo. I combined them to dip my fries. You should try it! I had the dessert of the day, which was hazelnut devil's food cake from Smor Nordic Bakery. It had hazelnut toffee, and flaky salt on top. Wow. It was great. I had great service, and was there a bit earlier on a weeknight, so it wasn't crazy busy. I highly recommend!

The B and B burger was amazing. The fries were fresh. Their brussel sprouts were delicious. There isn't much of a kids menu so that was disappointing. Only thing was a grilled cheese. Our waitress kept up with our big table and made she we all had drinks and every thing was good. With a table of 8 everything we ordered was correct. Thanks for great service.

Good food, very nice staff. Don’t really understand why you’re asked of how you want your burger to be cooked when it’s made medium well. Otherwise good food options, would consider again. Decently sized portions, had space for dessert.

I used to really like this place but not so worked up about it any more. Service is way too slow for lunch. They were out of a good number of beers on their list. Just print a new list instead of making me sit through a second list of what you don't have. Then finally, the food was just ok. Even the fabled Brussels sprouts could have been better. I can spend way less for just as good a burger elsewhere without all the hipster trappings. Of course, this is all just my very humble opinion.

What can I say? Grind burger is home to one of my favor burgers of all time - the B&B. They also have surprisingly good kale salads and a pretty nice draft selection. Definitely a contender for best burger joint in Louisville- neck and neck with Mussel and Burger Bar!

The burgers are unique; I love the B&B with the smoked habanero jam. Very nice craft selection. Definitely worth a visit if you’re around East Market. I wanted to give 5 stars, but $15 is a little steep for the size of the burger—would have had to order two if I was really hungry.

We were seated at a table pretty quickly, only waited about five minutes. However it took at least 30 minutes to get two burgers and a kale salad. It felt like a very long wait. It was a Sunday afternoon around 2pm or so. My teen boys said their burgers were good, one got the grind and one got the chain. They were definitely smaller than we all expected. My salad however didn’t do it for me. It was a plate of rough chopped kale with dressing on it but no one had massaged the kale to soften it as I know is common practice for this tough leafy green. And there was maybe 1 tablespoon of pepitas if that, and maybe a third of a radish sliced. Very skimpy. No flavor even with the dressing on it. The iced tea didn’t taste good either. I don’t recommend this place.
