I have mixed reviews. The first time going to this restaurant (picture attached) was phenomenal!!! The service was quick and food tasted great and was prepared perfectly. Loved the Cajun seasoning and huge servings. Sadly, the second time I hyped it up for my father who was visiting and when we went our shrimp and sausage weren’t cooked all the way and we were weary of consuming the somewhat raw food. Could be because of the busy weekend crowd but was not impressed. :\

The crab legs were only decent. Dirty floors and sticky tables and overflowing trash cans. Waited 45 for food when they weren't super busy. My husband got his meal 10 mins before me, and he had to go inquire about it twice before we got it. Not friendly at all and no one checked on us at any point. I love seafood and REALLY wanted to love this place. Sadly I did not. Would not will not go back.

First off, the crab cakes are PHENOMENAL. They are generous size wise and you get two in an order. The seafood macaroni was okay, I wouldn't order it again. It wasn't really creamy the way I think macaroni should be. Crab legs were flavorful, but a bit too pricey for the amount you get in my opinion. All in all, I wouldn't drive the hour to get them like we did this time, however if I'm in the area, I would stop for some crabcakes.

Overall: 3.625 (will round up to 4) Good experience overall, food is flavorful, expect a wait, worth a visit. Prices and location make it a one time/ when I'm craving it establishment (for myself). Worth it if you don't feel like you're breaking your wallet. Breakdown below. Tips: -try calling ahead to gauge wait times and place your order in advance. -Water is bottled. Will be extra. This is based on our first visit on a Sunday afternoon. We compared the food and value here to similar dishes we have tried in other cities and restaurants. Locals were there. That's always a good sign. Food: 4/5 Very flavorful! No debate here. Made to order- prepare to wait 20 to 45 minutes! Limited selections and combos, which I like. Full combo- snow crab cluster and 10 jumbo cajun shrimp. Comes with 2 Cajun potatoes (huge), Cajun corn, cajun egg and Cajun sausage Cajun seasoning is like crack. I don't normally like potatoes but I couldn't stop eating. Everything is flavorful. You can taste/ see the butter though so it's definitely not recommended daily. Two piece (fried) tilapia with Cajun corn (and seafood mac)- comes with shrimp. Upcharged as a substitute, $6 for a small side. Cajun corn is buttery and flavorful. Seafood mac was good, but we were expecting something phenomenal. I should have guessed fish would be fried. It is a large fillet. Honestly didn't think it was anything special. Price/ Value: 3/5 We expected more for the price. Our lunch was a smidge over $50, which is steep even for seafood. It adds up! Portions are fairly generous, depending on your appetite, you may take home leftovers. I recommend sharing if you're trying to taste a variety. Higher prices can be justified by the seafood. We felt the combo was priced pretty steep for the food we got. Great experience that I will need to budget for if I come back, because I do want to try other things on the menu. Service: 4/5 Seat yourself and order at the register. Everything is served in to go containers. Wait for your number to be called. No complaints here. Ambiance: 3.5/5 Casual diner with bar sitting and tv to kill time. Nothing super, just what it is.

My cousin took us here during our visit to Louisville for his college graduation. We stopped in on a Friday evening with 11 people in our party. When we got to the front door we were greeted with a chalkboard sign that read 45 minute wait for food orders, which was not a problem. There were people sitting around everywhere. The ordering process is chaotic, you stand in line and place your order at the pulpit. As 1 person from our party was ordering she purchased a soft drink with her meal and asked for a cup of ice for her drink as well as one for another in our party that already paid but had forgotten to ask for ice. Well.. you would think she asked for gold. The girl immediately gave her an attitude telling her we don’t have any ice but after a few exchange of words a cup of ice appeared., but she then had to argue for the second cup of ice, as the girl said she should have gotten it when she ordered. Really? Is it to much to ask for a glass of ice when the drinks your are serving are lukewarm at best? As you could imagine 45 wait turn into 1 hr. and 45 minutes before the first order for our party appeared. Another person in our party ordered a lobster tail and ask for butter and was charged .75 cents and given a cold scoop of butter. I ordered the Catfish and fries which both were really good but not good enough to wait over 1.5 hrs. Several people in our party including myself had to use the restroom. Only one restroom was working at this time and the only bathroom that was available was not just dirty but nasty. I noticed while ordering that they had a bar with the beer taps visible. I asked the lady behind the bar what beers do they have on draft and she rudely said we don’t sell alcohol here it's not on our signs. Then why do you have this bar here with the sign that says Guinness and she just walked off. The only person that had a personality in that place was the cleaning guy who asked if we needed anything. The rest of the staff is worthless and rude. I’m glad my cousin graduated so he would not be sinking anymore money into this place. The food seems to be decent. This place need a ownership change or we just had bad timing. I think Guy Fieri needs to come back and confiscate his advertisement. As you can tell we were completely disappointed!

Tasty food (my bread was stale, so I didn’t eat the bread) but rather ate the shrimp wrapped in the “Spring mix”. They were out of drinks so we went to McDonalds to get a drink while waiting for the food to come out. There was quite a wait for the food but I’d say the taste is worth it.

I felt like the food could have been better based off the reviews I was reading were good. Wasn't all that pleased, the corn was too hard, the shrimp taste good....however, I want to eat the shrimp not work peeling the shrimp just to eat them🙄 that was very annoying! And the potato wasn't seasoned enough Also, no option for drinks to be added to your order?

Omg this food is so good. I almost ate the lobster shell due to the seasoning. That lobster and waffle combo is truly amazing. She needs to teach Red Lobster how it's supposed to be done. I'll be back

The food was pretty tasty, but really drenched in butter. My stomach felt a little off afterwards. Also, it took more than an hour to get our food! We weren't even there during a busy time -- there were probably only a few other groups waiting. Interesting place to try, but probably won't come back.

I was really FULL surprisingly the food was very good egg and sausage awesome. The full combo is very heavy when you pick it up but it's mostly the potatoes. Catfish very tasteful. FoodNetwork was right the food was very good.
