We were road tripping to Nashville and chose to stay at the Baymont after a long drive as our rest stop. This hotel was slightly cheaper than others in the area and we figured it’s just one night; it doesn’t really matter. The overnight receptionist looked as if we just woke him up and was not friendly. I couldn’t even hear what he was saying and had to ask him to repeat every sentence. When we finally got to a payment method he asked how we were paying, I said card, and he looked at us waiting to hand him a card without being told how much was owed. I asked for 1 king bed non smoking and when we got to the room there were 2 queen beds. The paper we signed was for 1 king bed. We were never told what time breakfast was or when checkout was, I had to look this up and we ended up missing breakfast. The room was okay, nothing special. The bed was not very comfortable, probably a little below average but the pillows were better. The cleanliness of the room was subpar. The bathroom was actually pretty gross and looked like it needed a deep clean. There was a large green stain on the ceiling, stuff all over the side of the toilet and the molding looked like it had never been touched. It was nice spending under $100 for a room to rest up but I probably wouldn’t stay here again and rather pay the extra $10-25 for a nicer, cleaner, more comfortable room.

This is a nice hotel to stay at, I definitely recommend it! The staff are very friendly and the rooms have been clean 4 out of 5 times. The pool is very clean. It's a very nice room for a affordable price.

The property was easy to get to, the room was absolutely awesome. The owner takes pride in this hotel however, if you are wanting breakfast I would suggest you go out to eat. Breakfast consisted of wheat bread, muffins, waffles, and cereal. Of course they offer coffee, orange juice, apple juice and milk.

Enjoyed our stay here. Loved the pool area how u could be outside in sun but then the pool was inside. Loved how it was pet friendly. I found a few things in room where whoever cleaned it left things behind like dirty socks under the furniture but that was the only thing that I could complain about besides that room was nice and comfortable would definitely stay again

Terrible front desk attendant was rude and dismissive at check in. Never mentioned the pool was closed, had he told me this I would not have bothered my time here. My boys went and changed clothes and then walked down and we were told it was closed. There is a mildew smell in the room, and Wild unattended kids running down the halls. Don’t waste time nor money staying here! Go to a better place off this exit!

If i could give zero stars i would! ABSOLUTELY TEREIBLE FRONT DESK STAFF! The windows in the pool room were open that he refused to close or even get off his phone to come look at them, it was 30 degrees in that room and then closed the pool early for " MAINTENANCE " but NO ONE was doing ANY maintenance whatsoever. Also he was NEVER at the front desk and had several customers standing waiting in line at multiple different times throughout the day and night trying to find him to check in or for hotel issues but was sitting in the chair in the back and couldn't get off his phone long enough to help anyone...too busy to do his job! When any of us customers asked to speak to a manager or another staff member (because he informed us he was NEW here) we were told they weren't here...so apparently he was the ONLY staff member working here for the entire day and night?

Unfortunately I am not having a good experience. I checked in and moved from my first room due to bugs in the room. The second room was dirty, hair in the tub and crumbs throughout the room with stained mattress sheets, and by the third room I realized that basically all the rooms are not cleaned well so I went to Walmart to get supplies to clean a little better. And spray everything down. Now in the third and final room I am dealing with ants. I don't feel comfortable sleeping or even continuing my staying here. But unfortunately for me a manager isn't available until 10am. I would not recommend. I am very upset after a 16 hour drive to deal with this...

I had a very nice stay! The lobby, hallways, rooms were nice and clean. They were decorated to feel welcoming. The staff were welcoming and friendly. My stay included all basic amenities. My room was clean and smelled great. My room also included a couch so I didn't have to sit on the bed the entire time. It was quite and peaceful throughout my stay. They have courtesy truck parking. My room was very modern not old and rundown. I would definitely stay here again!!

The rooms are nicely modern, tasteful, and pretty spacious when you get to the window side. Love the lighting as well. The bed area has a soft glow while the mirror and sink have a bright white light good for selfies. Front desk was efficient in my case, checking in me and my crew members (5 guys total). What I love is they have those air conditioners you can control and leave on. It also has a timer! The surrounding area is quiet except for the train, but it is pretty muffled.

Very rude when you have a complaint. When I arrived for the two rooms that were reserved nobody was at the front desk. Waited for 11 mins and no one ever showed. I called and received no answer by phone. Once we did reach someone they were very argument and rude. Stating that he was at the front desk and could prove that he was. Well I was told by manager that in fact he wasn't and was still denied a refund for the two rooms. I would never stay at this hotel when they are as rude as they are.

The rooms were ok. They could use new towels because they looked dingy like they were kinda old and put more towels in the room. There were only 2 towels and we had 3 people in our room. The beds are not comfortable and the bedding was ripped. Also need new curtains as there were stains on them. We choose this hotel because of the price and we only needed for one night. But we wish we would have spent a bit more and went to another one in the same area!

First impression when checking in, front desk guy was rude and wasn't very helpful in finding the fastest route to our room. Second, there isn't a single elevator so we had to haul everything up the stairs. Third, our room had a musty smoke smell to it. Fourthly, thankfully we were already up but we were already on the top floor, and at 8am on the dot, all of a sudden we heard loud banging and slamming going on. We later found out they were replacing the roof right above our room. This is on a Sunday morning!! Something you'd think you'd do on a less busier day, like a week day. Fifthly, housekeeping didn't knock or anything and just barged in. He didn't announce himself until he already had our door wide open. Glad my wife or kids weren't getting dressed. You could say it's halfly my fault as I didn't have my door knob tag hanging. But any other hotel housekeeping will knock and address themselves before barging in. For $150/night.. If you're going to charge quality prices, you would think to expect quality service/experience. With this, I cannot give anything more than 1-star.

Love the staff and location. The bed was horrible and hard as concrete and the sofa in my room was disgusting with all kinds of stains. The floor looked like it had not been mopped in weeks and I woke up to a roach on the bedside table. I stay at this hotel every time I visit Louisville but will probably find a different place to stay after this trip.

I will NEVER stay at this hotel again! Not sure if it's air freshener or something else but the room has a very strong smell that I couldn't get away from & gave me an excoriating headache. There is no coffee pot or coffee in the rooms which I have never encountered before, so I wait for the complimentary breakfast to begin so I can get a bite to eat & finally get a coffee & the coffee machine doesn't work so I go to the front desk & say hey you guys don't have coffee down here or a coffee pot in the room& the front desk guy says yes we do there's coffee in there so I say it's not working so he precedes to check the machine as I'm walking over to him he pushes the button & it works so I'm like wow it wasn't working & he says u just have to hold button down trying to make me feel stupid or something so a couple other guests tell him we all tried that & the hotel repeats himself so another guest says sir I just watched u unplug it & plug it back in then it worked. Anyway the coffee was cold & tastes horrible. Needless to say I'm extremely tired with a bad headache & have to drive over an hour home safely. Ridiculous

The curtains had black mold all over them. The tub had stains that appeared to be old blood stains. The bed frame on top was covered in an inch thick of dust and the carpet and trim were completely torn off from the wall. The place was disgusting and the person who checked us in at front was extremely rude.

Booked thru Priceline and the hotel had no record. We had to leave and find another hotel after the two companies could not resolve their communication issues. The hotel wanted to raise the room costs from $70 to $110.

Decent hotel. Pool seemed nice. Front desk worker was friendly enough. Room wasn’t the cleanest and seemed like other people had that same issue. Doubtful we would return.

When I first walked in my room the first thing I noticed were the dusty cobwebs in the top corners of the room. Then I spotted other things... two squished bugs on two separate walls (roaches? water bugs? hard to tell), crumbs on the chair, towel fuzzies on the vanity, mystery stain on the front of the toilet. I took pictures of everything and went to the front desk. The gentleman told me that I could either go to a different hotel or switch rooms. I chose to switch rooms. The second room was cleaner (not by much) and situated by the dining area. I'm an early riser so this part didn't affect me too much, but getting the dining area ready for breakfast was an incredibly loud process between the whistling (whistle while you work?) and the dining room TV blaring. I checked out early.

The customer service suck! Spend $86 dollars for a room. The room didn't have a working phone or TV. The phone & TV didn't work on inside the room. I had to stay inside a room without a working phone or TV for 12 hours. Told the front desk about the issue with the phone and TV. The front desk didn't won't to accommodate, or offer any discount to room, or offer any good customer service for the inconvenience of the room. The front desk offered the opportunity to check out of the hotel since the hotel was already fully booked. The front desk also kept saying sorry, because of the inconvenience of the room. Recommend to not stay at this hotel, because of lack of customer service and accommodation.

This place rocks so far. Nice staff, rooms are good, even people staying are very sweet. They have a delicious breakfast to start your day, and even a BBQ grill to borrow. The toilets are even fancy!! They're like deep waterfalls that look cool! We will definitely be booking our whole next week there too again! ❤️ Thanks for making Michiganders feel at home!

Nice breakfast, nice pool area to say the least, beds were clean and comfy. Kind staff, wish there was more of a good clean smelling fragrance to the rooms but overall our stay was good.

Unless you're broke I wouldn't recommend it. I tried to grab something close to the project I was starting and upon pulling up immediately regretted it. Tried to cancel before checking in but I was going to be out the first night's stay plus taxes. I was only there for two nights so I roughed it out. They were roofing the place, it smelt bad throughout the hotel, and someone was trying to smoke every cigarette they had in their open pack before they went to bed and started a second pack first thing in the morning. That awful smell drifted over to my room. 0 DOES NOT connect you to the front desk. I called 4 times the first night and 5 times the second night and ended up having to call the hotel's phone number from my cell phone to report the smoking. There was no way to adjust the water temperature in the shower. It was scolding hot! Bring some house shoes or sandals to wear around the room. White socks aren't a good idea to lounge in. Lesson learned.

DIRTY! They definitely do not clean here. Our room was dirty. There were pubic hairs in the tub, a lot of dust on the walls, huge bug on the ceiling, ice bucket was disgusting, curtain rod was very loose/broken. Sink pipe was leaking. One of the towels had a nasty stain along with holes. Called down to ask for towels and their response was “you can come down and get them.” Worst part is, it wasn’t just our room. Another room had the same issue. They let the front desk know about the pubic hair and curtain rod and all they said was “we’ll put a note in your account.” Very dirty and lack customer service. Do NOT recommend.

It's the second time I've stayed at the Baymont inn Brooks and it's a little bit more pricey than some of your other pet friendly hotels that I've stayed at but both times I've stayed here the rooms are super nice. There is a big field next to it or you can walk your dogs. So it's well worth the money. And the staff super friendly. So if you're ever in Brooks I need a pet friendly place to stay I highly suggest Baymont and Brooks you'll be happy you did.

Clean comfortable bed. Good TV and WiFi. Microwave and fridge for n room but no coffee maker. Decent water pressure. Pool and fitness center are closed. Breakfast is poor. Waffles, cold cereal, mini muffins and toast, weak coffee, juice, yogurt and apples. Price was a little high for the amenities.

Place is in a good location not too far and close enough to getting where you want. Slept fine, downstairs employees were friendly. We stayed 2 nights and was there for an expo. It’s not a vacation type of place but more less a place to put your head for a night or 2. It could have used some major renovations. It’s been a few years since I was there.

  • 3/5 A&J P. 2 years ago on Google
The room was kinda dirty, the pillows were terrible and there was soap scum all over the tub. The room was decently priced I guess. But the shower had hot water and great water pressure. They also have a pretty cool pool area although I did not swim during my stay.

Dirty, smelly and WAY OVERPRICED for what it is. Didnt check other hotel prices in area or read reviews when booking (thats on me) but will never stay here again. Prepaid room for a Friday night and found out that I paid $40 more than nicer hotel across the street. Ended up moving to another nearby hotel for our 2nd night in town. A 20 foot section of the roof had fallen across the entrance and it laid there the whole time with no safety measures. Room was dirty and smelled moldy. Trash on halls and parking lot. Little kids running up and down hallways and in parking lots playing, unsurpervised (looked like they were living there). Broken down cars in parking lot all in various stages of repair. Breakfast was a joke!!! Coffee machine was out of syrup (yes, you read that right). Clerk was rude when asked to fix it. Small, prepackaged muffin, cereal (NO MILK) or make waffle in dirty griddle were our "breakfast" options. OJ tasted funny and Apple Juice had sign on machine that said broken. Just WOW! @Wyndhamhotels @Baymont I can't believe that you would let this place carry your brand...

The stay was decent, the room was not as clean as it should be. Mold and mildew in alot of places. Walls were a little dirty. Air conditioner filter was completely dirty filled with dust and dirt. The breakfast was not worth it.

Where to start the hallway to our room reeked of marijuana and cigarettes. The bed was so so on being comfortable. The pillows however where the smallest pillows I’ve ever seen. The cleanliness of the rooms was mediocre there was stains on my bathroom towels. We moved the seat cushion out, there was trash underneath it. Didn't eat breakfast, however it smelled pretty good. They only offered waffles, cereal and some pastries.

  • 1/5 Shannon B. 1 year ago on Google
This should be rated a 1 star hotel if that. There are stains on my towels, hair on my towels, large blood spots on my curtains, vending machines don’t work, and the least empathetic staff I’ve ever seen. The bed is the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on with pillows that feel about as plush as the sandpaper they call toilet paper. Definitely do not recommend.

  • 4/5 Jeanne B. 1 year ago on Google
A great place to stay! The price is right, the rooms are basically clean and very comfortable, the pool is wonderful and the staff is very friendly and very helpful, my only complaint on my second stay here is the blood stains on my curtains... 🤔 One can only wonder what happened there and why don't they bleach or replace those curtains ? (room 116) I will mention it to the staff as I check out but I will definitely come back again.

Horrible experience!!! Do not go to this hotel. Our room was filthy.. We waited for the room to be cleaned. It was never cleaned. They offered to give me a vacuum to clean it myself. The front desk attendant said it was not his job to make sure or clean the rooms. They gave me a vacuum to clean the room myself. The vacuum they gave me was broken and supposedly the only one. We asked for another room or a refund. That is when the front desk became angry and refused us a refund. We left promptly and now are trying to deal with corporate to get our money back..

I would not recommend this hotel! We were checked in at 3:09pm and checked out by 6:40pm. When we got into our room we immediately noticed that there was something wrong with the ceiling it was discolored in multiple spots and had mold growing in it. Instead of going and requesting a new room immediately my boys and I spent two hours at the pool and then we went to dinner. Upon returning I decided to go talk to the guy at the front desk. He asked when we had checked in and I told him the time he then informed me that because we had been there longer than 30 minutes he could not switch us rooms even though there were some available. Now mind you we hadn't spent more than 25-30 minutes in the room but after his refusal to switch us rooms we decided to check out and leave! We travel often and have NEVER encountered a situation as this and to be refused a solution was ridiculous.

0 stars would be more appropriate. The bottom floor smelled like mildew, they just had a fan in the hallway for all 3 days of my stay. 2 beds, one of them had stained sheets. 3/4 towels were stained brown and one of them was folded up wet and dirty on the shelf. The air conditioner was hit or miss if it would work. I wouldn’t stay at this location again if they offered it to me free.

  • 2/5 Blake H. 2 years ago on Google
Where would you like me to start the bed was comfortable, but the cleanliness of the rooms left a lot to be desired. We moved the couch out , there were soda cap lids papers and dog treats just shoved up underneath the couch. Then on top of that there was a bunch of hair in the shower where it was not cleaned, and last but not least , there was a towel wrapped around the smoke detector, guess someone decided to smoke in the rooms after all. Didn't eat breakfast as we went to shoneys , however it smelled pretty good. When we got ready to leave told the front desk person about it. They were dumbfounded by the whole thing and didn't know what to say

First impressions matter. Hospitality is not their strong point. Very limited soap/shampoo/etc. amenities. No coffee in room. Lobby coffee is undrinkable, especially if you like black coffee. Location for us worked great. But y'all could easily do so much better. Save for the pleasant enough woman at the morning desk, hospitality is lacking. Will say this though. Most awesome toilet 🚽 ever!

Customer service was ok but it couldn't overcome the deplorable conditions in the hotel. Dog hair everywhere gross (and I'm a dog owner). I can't prove it but i believe there's a mold issue in the hotel. I would consistently have issues with my eyes and nose every time I entered the hotel. My first day there i saw someone climb out a window at the hotel and then after getting my room my window was unlocked. At the end of the day its a family business and in order to get with Wyndham they probably had to give up there first born. It's crazy to say but don't go there if you used to decent lodging. I've been in the area for 4 month and I couldn't deal with it. They didn't even send me a review request after I left. Says a lot. FYI.. make sure your rate is locked in.

Close to airport, however also a train, which woke us up. Room was sufficient for the night. Husband said best water pressure he has ever had in hotel shower , although bath tub was cracked. Sink did not drain and there was a strong smell, that is hard to describe. Maybe a cleaning product to disguise other things, because it was burning my nose. All in all, not the best place but not the worst hotel we have stayed in.
