Staff is great there very nice and friendly. And best breakfast I have had at any holiday Inn. Bed is perfect, pillow is nice some of the rooms need some small attention I try to always let them know so it can be fixed. I love that they serve Borden milk and even have chocolate milk. Just like to see them stock the hot chocolate. And wated to add the pool is closed for repair. Definitely watch out for all the 1 way roads around the hotel I really have to watch we're I turn

I enjoy staying at hotels associated with a IHG group. The staff here was very friendly and check-in was very smooth. There was plenty of hot water and great water pressure in my room. Overall the room was clean however there were stains on the office chair and the floor. Additionally there was paint peeling off the walls in the bathroom. Breakfast was more than adequate, it was hot and fresh. As always the coffee was very good. The location was very close to interstate 64, the parking lot was well lit and I felt safe leaving items in my vehicle overnight. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks

Our family home burned down and this meant a VERY extended stay at this hotel! We were there 4wks and a few days. The check in was beyond easy, (remember, we were dealing with insurance and it was still a breeze). The STAFF IS THE BEST. From the front desk, to the cleaning ladies, right down to the maintenance men. The staff were vital in keeping my 5yr olds mind off of the traumatic event of losing everything he owned. I can't say enough about our stay here. The rooms are very clean upon check in and the standard was kept throughout our stay! The breakfast was awesome and the upgraded 50in TV was amazing! The mini fridge and microwave made all the difference when you have no kitchen to go home too. We truly felt like family while there...Staff made sure we were comfortable and that we had all that was needed. Holiday Inn Express went above and beyond for our family and we couldn't be anymore grateful for this hotel! ❤

3.5 stars...housekeeping uses too much bleach on linens. I understand the need for disinfecting them. But I have breathing issues, and the hard bleach smell made it difficult to breathe through the night. They have 2 different pillows on the bed to choose from, a poly filled and feather filled. Room had foul odor, front desk provided a bottle of febreeze to use. Housekeeping could also use a small hand-held steamer to detail the rooms better as the tub and bathroom have issues in the corners. Cold water valve was off under bath sink, missed from last maintenance issue. Some peeling paint on bathroom walls. The cups lids in the room didn't fit the cups ? Breakfast was good with a wide selection. Some items were low, but at request can be filled easily. The front desk adds $50.00 to your card for incidentals without a notification. It's remived when you check out. It's not worth $106.00 per night to me.

When I walked into the front lobby I was immediately hit with a strange smell. I then noticed the receptionist spraying Lysol to cover said smell. When I arrived to my room I was disappointed. It was stuffy, humid, and smelled like mildew. The carpet was stained and there were cosmetic issues everywhere. There was a sign in the lobby that said a remodel was coming soon, so hopefully they fix these issues!

This one was ok, not really up to IHG standards I have seen elsewhere. Not as clean. I get that not every hotel is brand new and in perfect shape but IHG promotes their exceptional cleanliness policy and that is why I go there. This place did not have that fresh clean smell walking through the door. The room did not either. The tables at breakfast were not wiped down as guests got up and left. Just not the same as I am used to but not as bad as many other chains at the same time. They just need to turn it up a notch or two.

It was a nice room and a secure place. The only bad side was I stayed here because of the pool, and then once I got in, it was like an ice bath. Took my breath away. So as I quickly exited another guest staying walked by and said it was cold huh? Him and his son tried to swim but couldnt.

Breakfast is always handled and greeted by the woman in charge. And that's about all the positives I can give this place. Pool has been closed all week, with no explanation as to why. The wifi se unity is invalid and therefore cannot connect. Door lock is busted on my room. And on my colleagues room, the door never locked, even when closed, all you had to do was lift up on the handle and full access to his room. Short of the lady who handles the breakfast, staff is rude,and or not existent. As you will find most of them outside smoking. Not a fan, won't be back. As I travel for work, I have stayed at a lot IGH Hotels, this has been the worse experience so far.

Nice hotel. Good breakfast! The ppl are nice n friendly. The only bad thing to share - the plug-ins are very loose. The phone and regular plug-ins. My phone had a hard time getting charged. Other than that- a nice place to stay and would stay agin.

Staff was top-notch, friendly, helpful and gave each guest attention and a personal experience, going the extra mile to provide an exceptional hotel breakfast and one of the best in the area. Ashley, at the front desk, was so accommodating and kind, I'd choose that location again for in future trips to the area, just for the service and breakfast but adding that extra touch of experienced, kind and knowledgeable staff made the entire stay so much better. It was like home away from home.

Stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon trip. The rooms were very nice and clean. We came to see Louisville but ended up enjoying Indiana, too. There is a lot to do around this area. Very cozy, safe neighborhood. I never once felt like we were in a bad area of town. I will recommend this place to anyone!

This is not what I expected! Have stayed here many times. Great location and used to be clean and well kept. Staff was friendly and nice. THE Owner or Owners of this place need to put some pride in there property! This visit was disappointing 😞

I just came back from New Albany, Indiana I stood here for 4 day 3 nights and this Holiday Inn Express was the most memorable experience I’ve ever had. Their beds are so comfortable and the staff was super professional and helpful they made me and my daughter and friends feel like we were home. Ashley, Angela, Jesse and Ociel and all of the housekeepers and staff were so helpful and kept asking if we needed anything I will definitely be staying here again and again and will recommend it a thousand times the town has beautiful shops and views felt safe and very clean hotel

This is the BEST hotel I have ever stayed in. Matt was awesome at check in & everyone else at the desk was great too! The lady running breakfast was super sweet and was always so kind and in a good mood. So much easier to wake up in the morning when you’re around kind people. Not to mention, the breakfast was really good. Even the housekeepers were nice & said hi when we passed them. Thank you to all the staff at this hotel! This will be the only hotel I stay at when I’m in the southern Indiana/Kentucky area!

Arrival experience could have been better. When I asked if we could have a third floor room it was as if I was inconveniencing the receptionist. She was totally unprofessional in her attire. Our room had a stink bug infestation that needs addressing. The opening that the air conditioner unit sits in is not sealed. The window sill had not been cleaned of dead stink bugs. We eliminated at least four bugs every day. The sink drain had no stopper, the shower head had poor water pressure. The toilet paper holder is unreachable when you "need" it. At breakfast, the staff ware friendly and helpful, as well as overworked. One person should not have to man the breakfast area on a busy sunday morning. Management did not plan well, as the pancake machine was out with more than an hour to go before 10 AM, there were no muffins, no plates, etc. I can't recommend this hotel.

It took me over two hours to reach the front desk the day of arrival , the phone rang and went to operator then back to the front desk and looped for 2 hours. I had requested to make sure the room was clean because I knew we would be checking in late after room-service left for the day and not to be near the stair or elevator. The room was beyond disgusting! I went to the front desk and was told they could cancel the reservation. I needed a clean room so the front desk clerk went up and "cleaned " the bathroom. It was still pretty disgusting so I asked if I could use the cleaning stuff and a vacuum. She said she would discount the room which was only 10-15 bucks ! I called guest relations and they offered me points and I said no I don't want to pay for a room I had to clean , couldn't run the AC or heater cause it was full of dust and leave earlier than we were planning cause it was disgusting. The breakfast wasn't edible unless it was prepackaged. There was no flat sheet on one the beds. I am including photos of the room which were taken after housekeeping "cleaned" the room , the GM inspected it and the front desk "cleaned" it. I requested for the GM to contact me and still have not heard anything , called customer relations several times who said they can't do anything ! I have tried to call the hotel several times and no one answers.

The carpet in the room wasn’t vacuumed the toilet and shower wasn’t cleaned throughly. Me and wife let the front desk person know she said we could change rooms if we liked. We looked at another room but wasn’t happy with that either so we decided to stay in our original room. The front desk lady had the house keeper guy come and clean our floor and bathroom. We ran to the store while the guy was supposed to clean our and upon our return the only thing that he did was vacuum the floor. We decided to not make it a big deal and clean the bathroom ourselves. Once back in our room we noticed stink bugs. Some were dead on the floor by the AC unit and some were dead inside the windowsill. There were also a few live ones flying about. We captured them under the cup and contemplated telling the front desk but we felt we already made enough complaints at check in. We didn’t get a good nights sleep even though the bed was very comfortable, we were too worried about the stink bugs. Aside from that mess, the pool area was just as cold as aside and we were told that the pool was heated, which we could figured out because the pool room was cold. Breakfast was decent, I really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy and there was a very good selection of items to choose from. We would never stay at this hotel again and wouldn’t recommend it to family and friends.
