My husband, myself, and sister n law ordered a bowl of soup and drinks each. My spoon was dirty with hard food on the back. I went to the front counter and the young lady was busy, so I flagged down a worker behind the food counter, showed him the spoon, and asked for another, he said just a minute. It was about 5 minutes and I ask the young lady again but the man came back with a plastic spoon and walked away. The soup was smoking hot. I asked the young lady to page the manager. Well the manger turned out to be the same man who was going to get me another metal spoon but gave me the plastic one. I told him, I'm not going to take the spoon home, and the soup is too hot for a plastic one. He said that's why I gave you a plastic one did you think it would melt, and walked away. We spent $35.00 today at about 130pm. The service of the manager was rude and unprofessional.

Went in for lunch today and several of the things we wanted they were out of and we couldn't get. I settled on a smoked ham & gouda melt sandwich which was large but not really anything special. The dijon or horseradish sauce was very overpowering. The french baguette was crunchy and soft. They do bread very well. I did have a phenomenal bowl of french onion soup. Flavorful with gooey cheese and crunchy croutons that absorbed the soup and became soft. An onion explosion when you eat one. I love their french onion soup and it's constantly delicious. A regular size drink was $3.09 which is ridiculous for a regular size cup of Mountain Dew. There's good and bad here so you have to determine if it's for you. It's expensive and they are always out of stuff. I do however crave french onion soup and there's is top notch. Next time I'm just getting soup and bread. If that's what you want I reccomend a visit otherwise maybe try someplace else. This location needs to stop running out of stuff so the whole menu is available.

This location has been going downhill the last few times I have been there. The quality of the food has not been as it used to be, and the service is not the same they are not as friendly or helpful as they used to be. The prices should meet the quality. However, not the last few times I have been there. I'm hoping they can get back on track soon

Please do not visit this place. I came from Europe to visit my brother and we decided to stop by in this Panera. Suddenly the cashier started to act rude on us, focusing in my brother's childrens. He was very strange, this type of situations must be avoid by hiring personnel with mora fiber instead that crazy man. Panera Bread is excellent every time especially Erin is super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and goes over and above to make sure that you have a great experience every time you are here. My wife and I love the bagels, she loves the mocha frozen drink with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle and I love the iced coffee especially as there are free refills.....who does that? nobody that I know.... thanks Erin you are awesome

The store is always clean and well stocked. Kudos to the staff at the Alcoa Panera Bread. The best dish I have had is the tomato soup and a grilled cheese! Also, the broccoli soup and potato soup! I highly recommend giving Panerai bread in alcoa a try!!!

I'm a returning customer at Panera Bread -- a rewards member. The reason is that I always have known what to expect in this chain. However, I'm growing to expect this location to be out of things, which isn't always good.

The dining room was a little dirty. There wasn't anyone working The counter when we arrived. We ordered through the kiosks at the entrance and just hoped it worked. I like a little personal touch when I go out to eat. We found a table, wiped it down and sat down. In a few mins. They called our name. Food was good, I still think they are overpriced for 2 sandwiches and soup.

Our takeout orders are rarely correct, so we either have to return to the store or, if we catch it before we leave, sit and wait for a new order while our other food gets cold. They are always apologetic, but it’s been happening so long that I’m not convinced they’re trying to improve.

They are very often out of items even early in the day. Seems they aren't capable of even remotely anticipating the need for the day. Wasting our time and very disappointing. Management doesn't seem to care. Don't think we'll be back.

I really enjoy Panera sandwiches but this one fell short, there was very little chicken on the sandwich. I combined the chicken from both halves to make one, half sandwich.

This location is great. Head and shoulders better than the recently closed Turkey Creek location. Orders filled fast and accurately. Food is good, plenty of staff and good attitudes abound

Food was hot and fresh. I absolutely love the broccoli cheese soup, my son prefers the macaroni and cheese. The lemonade with agave was delicious.

Had a bit of a weird experience today when I went to pick up a "to go" order that my girlfriend made online. Got there and they had no record of the order. Not sure what the problem was but it wasn't related to the staff working there... They were great. It must have been an issue with how the online system is forwarding orders to the local store. If anyone from corporate reads this you need to check into that! It was a 4 miles bike ride for me and then I had to re order and wait. If that's going to keep happening to folks you are going to lose a LOT of business due to a technical issue with the online order interface. Other than that, everything was fine. Clean store, basic Panera atmosphere and layout.

So I am a resident of Blount county. My family and I love Panera bread and eat here at least once a week. We eat here every Sunday for breakfast and the past few months they have just gone really downhill. The staff is nice, the restaurant is clean but everytime we go the food is burnt or very close to being burnt and it's disappointing as it does not taste the same anymore. It's everytime we go so we will no longer be customers of this location.

Ordered for delivery. Bag was not sealed. Latte only had the stopper and no seal. When I order pickup, both stopper and seal are affixed. Delivery quality should be no less than a pickup. Also looks like someone drank from the latte. Disappointed in Panera’s quality control and in DoorDash delivery.
