The atmosphere is fantastic. The Harris’s burger was very tasty. The options are big and well presented. Key lime pie so tasty!

I have been here several times throughout the course of the past 20 years and I can say that each time I have been here I have had a great experience! It's such a beautiful atmosphere on the water and the food is really good too. During this most recent trip, I had the Chili Lime Shrimp Tacos which were amazingggg and my father had the Spinach salad with strawberries, pecans, goat cheese, and he added shrimp to it. We also tried the hummus plate for an appetizer. The best part of this place is being right on the water and being able to dine outside if desired. I highly recommend and will always return when I am in the area for a visit!

So very relaxing and colorful! The property is flowing with colorful, table umbrellas & Adirondack seating. The live cover band definitely added to the friday evening festivities. Sitting at the Ohio River's edge, the view is spectacular! The sunset, suspended(?) bridge in the distance. The boats, yachts & other water toys were fun to watch! The food & service was as good as ever!

If you are looking for a classy but down home restaurant with plenty of elegance this is most certainly the place to be. We went on a date night, for a calmer side ask to sit on the opposite side as the bar. It's not rowdy just quieter over there next to the fire place. During the summer months this place has a beautiful outdoor seating area right on the river front with breath taking sunsets.

This place is wonderful, exquisite and relaxing atmosphere, many colors, many activities to do. The food is incredible, super delicious, I 100% recommend trying the crab cake, it's crazy. You can choose to sit inside or enjoy the incredible view outside. the staff is very friendly and attentive. you can go on your boat or jet sky and enjoy the food from it.

I had never been to Captain's Quarters before, but I was down to try something new. Went from lunch with a buddy. Service was exceptional, The server took our drink orders as soon as we sat down and they never let out drinks get down to the bottom. I tried the shrimp and grits and I was not disappointed. Full of flavor and the shrimp were nice and large. When we got the bill I was shocked at how low it was, I was expecting a high class place like this to be $$$ but it was actually very reasonable. Highly recommend.

The outside entertainment is worth more then 3 stars but I like to be honest in my reviews. Spacious waiting area clean and comfortable. We reserved a table and asked for a view and got sat in the worst area possible, felt like we were right in the walkway, people having to maneuver around us was uncomfortable. We ordered drinks with our appetizers, not bad and definitely on the stronger side which I won’t complain about. Finished our drinks and still didn’t get apps, our waitress Kaity was awesome and apologized even though it was definitely not her fault. Ordered more drinks and food finally arrived but all at once, appetizers and entree just piled onto the table so that was upsetting as well. Peel and eat shrimp were great nice and cold, not chewy so that was a big plus, as far as the rest of the food goes it was just OK. Nothing special no great flavoring just basic food which surprised me. I will say the outside seating and entertainment was wonderful after we finished we walked around outside, nice music and kids welcome was wonderful. Everyone seemed to enjoy the band. You can pull your boat up right on the Ohio and dock and be served directly to your boat and that impressed me because we are boaters ourself. All in all 3 stars, go for the outside entertainment.

I have been here about 6 times so I have a good feel for the restaurant. The atmosphere is second to none. The service is also outstanding. However they really need to expand their menu. It's just not very exciting and could be a lot better to match the atmosphere of the restaurant. What menu choices they do have are good though.

Had a good time here. Great service. Very reasonable prices and overall a nice place. Everyone was friendly. Food does come in pretty large portions, so you don't have to go to McDonald's afterwards. Lol

Nice restaurants and decent food with friendly staff .. the appetizers were good and our party of 6 liked their entrees except for me, I had the Carving Board Turkey Sandwich and found out that the turkey does not taste good with the strawberry jam and Granny Smith apple slices .. outdoor seating was very scenic being directly on the bank of the river .. will have to get something else if I have the opportunity to be back

Great place, beautiful structure inside the main restaurant with a stone fireplace and A frame ceilings. There is sitting outside right on the banks of the Ohio River but you can't reserve seating there. First come first serve, but that's ok. Along the riverside the restaurant has glass windows from floor to ceiling. The food was amazing, came fresh, hot and the salads hit the spot for the start of Spring 🌼

Took a cruise on the Princess. Everything was great! One suggestion, especially when entire ship is booked for a private event. DON'T take half full drink glasses from empty tables! We maybe visiting another table or using the facilities. Twice our drinks were gone when we returned to our table. Stop trying to rush cleaning up and let us enjoy our drinks and get refills.

Very cool setting, with a casual but sophisticated vibe. I was very impressed with the food quality; I had the bourbon steak, which was grilled to perfection. My wife had the seafood trio, which was great as well. I would also highly recommend the old fashioned. We will definitely be back for another date night.

Captain's Quarters is a beautiful restaurant set on the Ohio River. The decks are spacious and have some really fun igloos that you can dine in. You can also pull up your boat and the server will come to you. The private dining room is lovely and seats about 25 people very comfortably. We had the fried wontons (delicious!!), a cosmo (wife was not a fan of it), Kentucky Lemonade (wife was a fan of!!), the Bourbon sirloin (wife had to send it back since it was not cooked blue rare but more medium rare, she likes it still moo'ing 🤣), and I ate light and had a couple of grilled cheese sandwiches and fries (the fries are AMAZING! Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside). We took home a slice of Derby Pie and Key Lime Pie, both amazing!! One member in our party had the Hot Brown and it looked delicious and she loved it! Would definitely come back again!

Nice location and plenty of parking. The hostess didnt know where our table was for our reservation. It was an outside easter igloo. The wait staff never came out to take drink orders so I went and found them. I plugged in the heater and lights for the igloo. The table was set up but that was it. Over the course of brunch we had 3 different wait staff and when I went to pay they had never started a bill. Not sure if they where ready for easter. The atmosphere was great and the food was good. The organization was a little off but I will go back to see how it is on a non holiday weekend.

The view is incredible, the hosts are great, but the most important part wasn't that good. The food wasn't good, my ribeye was overcooked

What a wonderful venue for dining on the deck of an evening. Easy parking. Had a bit of a wait, but well worth it. Good food and terrific service. We had a superb experience!

Beautiful location on the river. Several unique sitting areas for you to choose from “outside”. Miami Vice and Bourbon Lemonade drinks were spectacular. The Nacho appetizers on HUGE. Wonderful waiter “Hunter” helped us with some choices and was very personable and knowledgeable. Watched the boats go in and out of the harbor along with a “sailing” event going on. Prices are reasonable and the environment was delightful.

Food was amazing, looked fancy for a good price. Service was great from the hostesses to the waiters. There's a bar inside and outside which was awesome. Definitely plan on coming here for my next birthday. They got chairs layed out looking out towards Ohio River which was nice. Could be a romantic setting if you wish and nice for dates or simply hanging out w friends. Nicely casual. Dining is available inside and outside which was great! Love this place

Amazing views. I saw a blade eagle when we first arrived, but I wasn't able to get a photo. Enjoyed watching all the boats pass by. The food was delicious. I would recommend dining during the evening hours because it gets a little warm during the day. Can't wait to come back.

This will now be a standard stop for dinner every time in Louisville, The food was delicious ( Fish Tacos for me), the service was excellent, the music was great. We sat outside on one of the decks overlooking the river, for dinner and then relaxed and watched a 5 star sunset from the lawn over a game of corn hole. very family friendly even though I was with my drunken drunken bourbon trail buddies. I loved this place. Looks like inside was a great place for a semi formal dinner also.

Sea captives will captivate your heart with its great service, drinks, and views! My friend made a reservation for 11 and I am so glad he did as the restaurant was pretty full when we arrived. They gave us a long table in a separate area up a few stairs. Our waitress got our drink and appetizer orders and advises us that the kitchen was moving slow so to put in our food orders as well. For our appetizers we got a couple of the spinach dips and an order of wontons. The spinach dip was average, but the wontons were so good. Had a nice crunch, a good amount of cheese, and the dip was super cool and creamy! To eat I got their salmon with broccoli and instead of the rice I got the grits. Now the food had a great flavor, but was so overly salty I could barely eat it. I did my best to add some pepper and mix it up, but I made it through about half of it and could not eat anymore. It was not just me as a couple of other people mentioned the same thing. Maybe this was just normal for this restaurant? Maybe someone was just really salt shaker happy? Whatever the case the good was good, but the salt could've been toned down a lot. The best part of this restaurant was the view as it is right on the Ohio River. The view, especially at sunset, is gorgeous. The sun twinkles off of the water giving you amazing and tranquil pictures. They have tons of chairs outside so you can sit, sip, and enjoy the evening. Speaking of sipping their Miami Vice is so yummy! All you need is one of this strawberry deliciousness and you will be close to heaven! Come for the views and drinks!!

Had a great time! The food was absolutely delicious! The bartenders and wait staff were very polite, courteous, and knowledgeable about the menu. OMG! The drinks and appetizers at the bar were out of sight!😋 Anxiously waiting spring/summers return to enjoy sitting outside!
