Out of 40 different Wyndham hotels we have stayed in this is the top of the line most beautiful , clean , excellent hotel we have stayed in . The people at the front desk was super nice friendly went out of there way to up grade our room us being diamond statues. The house keeping lady’s was great super nice and let me in the room while my husband had to go get the keys reset because we got them close to our cell phone and it deactivated them . I recommend this hotel as your next stay in Louisville Ky. Full breakfast bar . Gym I didn’t have time to try . Wish I could rate this higher than a 5 . Thank all of you for a great stay . This suite had two TVs and a couch that would make to a bed also with tub shower comb.

Very clean rooms with an awesome and attentive staff! The quality of this 1 star hotel is phenomenal. The management makes it pleasant for your families stay. The noise is not unbearable, they have double played windows. If you're a light sleeper just bring ear plugs. I had no problems sleeping.

The hotel has clearly seen better days, and it doesn't seem like it was great even when it was new. The fitness center is tiny and out of the way. I had to ask at the front desk to even find it. Breakfast was good and before dawn the lobby was a nice place to read. The staff were polite and helpful, but not that professional or attentive. When walking up to the desk we often needed to get their attention. Overall, it's a hotel. You could sleep here if you're not too temperature sensitive. Its just not a very nice one, nor a good deal for the price. There are much better hotels in the area around the same price point.

The price was decent, the rooms were okay (including mini fridge & microwave) but our towels were still damp and the carpet seemed sticky. The breakfast was good, better than most. However, being SO close to the highway, it's all you heard. We could barely hear the tv over the road noise. It sounded like a window was open it was so loud. Not a good sleep. Thankfully we were just there for 1 night to break up a long drive.

The area looks kinda sketchy so I was always aware of my surrounding. The inside of building is quite nice and modern. Our room was clean and nice with the exception of it being mucky upon arrival. Everything else was good and had no issues. Breakfast included was a plus, and overall it was worth the price and stay. Definitely better than I expected.

The staff was very accommodating. The property was very clean and well maintained. The internet worked great. The breakfast bar was nothing extraordinary but served the purpose. The amenities were superb for the price. No complaints from me. I’ll return there when I’m in Louisville again.

The staff we interacted with were pleasant and helpful, especially the lady working late at night! Our room was very clean and comfortable, especially the bed! The only downsides were the noise from the highway (unavoidable due to proximity) and we had a hard time getting the shower down to a comfortable temperature - it was way too hot even with the dial turned very low. Still, this was a pleasant stay and a good value for the money. We will likely stay here next time we need to stay in Louisville!

The way this hotel’s staff has treated my elderly grandmother and myself this weekend has been absolutely disgusting. The hotel started out by not having the room that we reserved and paid for (a room w 2 beds). After seeing that we were out of state they told us that they wouldn’t have a room with 2 beds until tomorrow and UPCHARGED US for a room w one bed and a cot that they brought me to sleep on the floor next to my grandmother. The next day, the manager came UP TO OUR ROOM to literally HAGGLE an additional up charge with my Grandma to put us in the room we had originally wanted. Which the manager originally said would be an additional $30 extra charge per night EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THE ROOM WE BOOKED FROM THE BEGINNING. When we finally get into the room with 2 beds we had originally booked and paid for; the shower was broken and there was dead bugs and dog food in every corner of the floor….. Housekeeping never came to clean, make up the beds, or replace towels. We were gone for 10+ hours and passed the 3 women on the way out!! Business AND cleaning practices are absolutely DISGUSTING! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. $240/ night to be treated like this should be a crime. Spend $50 less and book at their competitor Holiday Inn Express less than a minute away. Ended up spending our last night there and was really disappointed that we hadn't just went there in the first place. I will be contacting corporate to let them know about my experience as well. Absolutely atrocious- dealing with this hotel and both being able to sleep has ruined our trip to Kentucky and we will NEVER be coming back! Attached is the managers business card as advertised at the front desk . I have contacted the BBB and the attorney general! This place NEEDS to be shut down IMMEDIATELY!!!!!

Had the WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE HERE! And I’m from NY. You book a hotel to not even be able to sleep, disgusting rooms, and rude staff. Why anyone would voluntarily stay here after reading these reviews is BEYOND ME! Skip it. There’s plenty decently priced hotels in the area FAR BETTER than this place! Nothing redeemable to even mention from my 3 night stay here. Surrounding neighborhood extremely unsafe! Shady people in the parking lot checking if doors were locked. I will be calling the BBB in the morning. BEWARE!

Extremely noisy! You won’t sleep. Run now! I made reservations via customer service thru Wyndham. Not the hotel. So I was never told my room or the hotel was literally right next to the interstate! When I got to my room at 5 pm rush hour I was never told anything about my room literally facing the interstate. They just gave me my keys and I went to my room. I did notice it was noisy but it was rush hour. I honestly did not think the noise would be that bad in the middle of the night… WRONG! After I was in and out of sleep I finally woke up at 2:30 am I went to the bathroom, got tissue to put in my ears, put sleep music on full blast, pillow and arm over the head. I could still hear the semi trucks and motorcycles just barreling by. Terrible! I should have went downstairs in my pajamas asking for a new room. I told the attendant when I left that next morning what a terrible experience I had. She did not do anything but say she was sorry. Even if this was the last room in Louisville, I would not pay for it! I would have rather slept in my Van! Hotel was clean, and kept up very well. But I need a hotel room I can get a good night sleep!

The hotel itself was nice inside and clean but we woke up ready to continue our trip discovering that our catalytic converter had been cut off and stolen from the bottom of our vehicle. The staff gave us a non emergency number to file a report but said it has happened before. A clean hotel isn’t worth staying at if you have to worry about your property being stolen. And obviously little is done to prevent this from occurring for their guests. Very disappointed in our experience here

We called the number listed here paid for our room got a confirmation number was told our room was ready was told there is no deposit. We get here and told we have to pay a $250 deposit. We don't have the extra money so i call my father to have him do it they won't take his credit card until he faxes in a authorization form which is going to be 3 hrs or so. So we have to sit outside or lobby. Called Wyndham support to ask for help was told there is absolutely nothing they can do to help that its up to the manager here. My fiancee worked 10 hours last night a d is undergoing treatment for cancer and sitting here wore out in excruciating pain because she can't lay down and get some rest in the room we paid for. This is absolutely outrageous. No compassion here.

I was blown away by how clean everything was. I’ve been across this country and in some very nice hotels, but none compare to how immaculate they keep it. You can’t even find a spec of dust on any of the picture frames. The front desk was friendly and helpful too by giving me the best rate they could find, without me even asking. I’m proud to be a rewards member and will make this hotel my choice when I’m in the area.

Staff and property are great - clean, efficient, etc... Only issue on the room was the janky shower - lower faucet was dangling on its supply line (making engaging the shower head tricky) - and the shower head - again not mounted, just dangling... NICE property still. TWO primary reasons this wasn't at least four stars... First - the Air Conditioning... Its on a sensor of sorts - which means if you are not moving around in the room - it basically shuts off... I set it to 66 degrees and HIGH - and much to my dismay - I woke up 3 hours later to a room about 75 degrees (multiple times). Completely unacceptable, period. The room I was in was very small (and efficient - actually really liked it) - so keeping it cool is about 1/2 the task of a normal room - but the fact they use some type of sensor unit - you wake up sweating (and YES I sweat at 75 degrees). Second - this room was adjacent to the signage wall facing the highway - and perhaps it caused for more noise (trapping the sounds) - but the road noise at night (think Harley or Hot rod stepping on it, or trucker applying Jake brake) - was at a level that was too loud - and I sleep to music in the background... Add the two together - awoken regularly by road noise - to a HOT room, and you get a very low star rating.

Great value. Good staff. We were greeted by a very friendly women when we arrived late yesterday evening. We had a minor issue with our room which we didn’t mention until the next morning since it was so late. The gentlemen at the front desk this morning went above and beyond to make it right and even discounted our room without us asking. The eggs at breakfast weren’t the best, but the rest of the hot breakfast was good. I can say I would stay here again.

The quality of service from check in around 12:30AM 12/24/21 with Melissa (same name as my mom :) )was superb. The room was clean and the hotel was organised and had fresh hot breakfast in the morning. This was a very positive experience!

A bit of confusion upon checking in..I called hotel to make sure they were pet friendly..I was told yes, they are..I then made reservations online through hotels.com for a king suite but when we checked in we were told the king suites are not pet friendly. That definitely needs clarification. Other than that..room was clean, AC struggled a bit and it was chilly outside..but not in the room! Decent breakfast and friendly service.

Is ZERO stars an option? Nope. You have to give one star to send the review. What a miserable experience. This place ripped us off at Christmas. I booked a room for .my daughter for 3 nights. (as a Christmas gift) Upon check in, she told them that she only needed 2 nights. No problem...but NO REFUND. They failed to tell us that they would STEAL our money even though they were given more than 48 hours notice. I called the hotel to discuss a refund. I called for an entire week. The front desk confirmed that my daughter informed them and checked out in 2 days. I would have to speak to the GM...Oh, I tried. The GM was too cowardly to return my calls. After a week of calling GM at hotel, I called the corporate customer service department. They were NO HELP. They said the hotel was independently owned. GM is a complete LIAR who told them he returned my call. They took his word without any record of a call. I live close by and wanted to find a hotel for family and friends to stay...NOT this hotel. No professionalism. No customer service. No way that I would ever allow my family to stay in this dirty and crooked hotel. GM should be never be trusted- should be fired but probably owns this dirty establishment. DO NOT pre-pay. Untrustworthy and dishonest. Keep on looking. Don't stop at the Wyndham Wingate Louisville Fair and Expo- it will destroy your faith in people.

My stay was wonderful. The room was clean and in excellent shape. I had a very large bathroom and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. The front desk was very hospitable.

So this hotel is very clean. The Breakfast is straightforward to above average. The location is on an Interstate highway that seems to be alive with traffic all night. Do NOT stay on a low level room facing the Interstate like we did. You'll regret it. There is NO Hot Tub. Its a solid 3 star establishment. So do NOT expect a bus boy. The Hotel is located within the Orthodox Jewish Community confines of Louisville Kentucky. In short, expect an average stay, but with immaculate conditions. Safe Travels!

The hotel is clean and the staff is nice, but I didn’t feel particularly safe here. Not the nicest part of town. A man waited in the lobby until I was getting on the elevator. Then he rushed over and got in with me, telling me how tired I looked and asking if anyone was with me, etc. I got off on the wrong floor so he wouldn’t know which room I was in, and there were lots of people hanging around outside the hotel as well. I just had an uneasy feeling the whole time after this encounter. It’s also a very loud hotel since my room was right off the interstate. The room was nice but pretty humid.

My children and I have stayed there twice now and it was a wonderful experience both times. Very friendly staff and very helpful. If you need something they make sure it is taken care of very quickly. We will be staying there again if needed in the future.

We stay at this hotel quite often and it's one of our favorites. If you're bothered by highway noise, request a room not on the highway side and it's perfectly quiet. Friendly staff and clean rooms. My husband is a germophobe and if we're in a questionable hotel, he sleeps fully clothed on top of the covers; but in this hotel, he sleeps comfortably under the sheets. :)

Nice clean hotel, pet friendly with good rates. The guy at the front desk with curly hair has great customer service...I think his name is Amil. The housekeeping staff was all very nice also. Having the Dove shampoo, conditioner & soap dispenser was a major plus because it saved me a trip to the store. This hotel exceeded my expectations & I would stay here again.

Very discreet and out of the way but the area isn't too far off the beaten path. The room set up was off with the sofa tucked off in a separated small room but I guess if you have somebody else with you then it makes sense. Either way, not horrible at all.

Not bad at all for an older hotel. 10 minutes away from EVERYTHING! Clean rooms. Great breakfast! Small pool, but just fine for us. (Although, they should really rethink their weekend hours. 9am to 9pm???) We booked adjoining rooms with king size bed and fold out couch for the kids, and were expecting our bedrooms to be separated by a door, but there was no separation between rooms except for a short hallway and kitchenette with no doors to close for privacy. Overall, a good stay. The staff has been very friendly to us throughout our stay.

Stayed here for the Beyonce concert and we were very pleased. The lobby area is very inviting with modern furniture. All staff was nice. The room and hotel was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice as well with a great selection of things to choose from.

The hotel itself was clean, close to downtown, and quiet. The free breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about, but got the job done. Room was nice size and bed was comfortable. The actual location is weird tho. It’s basically in the hood, although we did NOT have any issues.

I really like this hotel. The area is sketchy but we’ve had no problems. Staff is excellent and they always take care of any concern promptly. I travel nurse and they are super gracious. Rooms very clean, decent breakfast and coffee.

Beautiful set up, clean, sweet staff. Couldn't get the kids out of the pool. Located next to a few attractions which was a plus for us. We will definitely be back

I stayed here for seven nights on a business trip. The parking lot was clean and well lit on arrival. I had a reservation so check in went smoothly. The lobby and hallways were very clean with no odor. My room was extremely clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. All the stated amenities were in place, such as the microwave, in room coffee and small refrigerator. The hotel does have multiple luggage carts which is nice, and 24/7 coffee. My air conditioner/heater worked well, and the front desk staff was very friendly. The 43" television had a great selection of channels and a good picture. There is a guest laundry, $2.25 each to wash and dry. The in-house "store" has a variety of food items for purchase, as well as sleep aid and laundry detergent. Breakfast was a good variety with sausage, eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, waffles and the standard cereals, etc. A very pleasant stay. I'll absolutely book here again if my work asked me to return to the area. I stay over 100 nights a year in Wyndham hotels and this one gets it right!

This hotel is located in a residential apartment/condo area. The hotel sits in a secluded location that sits parallel to the highway. It was a quiet area. The hotel staff was pleasant, room was very clean and comfortable. The free breakfast had hot items as well as a waffle maker, and the regular continental breakfast items. The location was centrally located. Easy access to the highway and major tourist attractions Expo Center, Kentucky Kingdom, Zoo and shopping. The prices was affordable and most of all I felt safe.

I was very pleased with this Hotel and the new Look for Wyndham. The staff was very polite, it was nice and clean in the lobby and the rooms were nice as well. Me and some friends booked a block of rooms for The FunkFest and everyone was very pleased with there stay. I would definitely stay here again. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars because the sink was a bit clogged.

  • 2/5 David P. 1 year ago on Google
Front lobby and elevator smells like cigarette smoke. Staff were friendly. Continental breakfast was good. Highway traffic noise a little bit much until you fall asleep. Bathroom fan noisy. Now I have been charged for four rooms instead of two. Not having fun getting two room charges cancelled off my credit card.

  • 4/5 Sims H. 1 year ago on Google
The highway is incredibly loud! The room was small but clean. The young man at the front desk was amazing! So polite and kind. They should provide ear plugs or invest in better sound deadening windows. Other than the noise it was a very nice stay.

We chose this hotel because it is pet friendly. The hotel had plenty of parking, which was super helpful because we were in a 26' uhaul and we had an enclosed trailer that we were towing. Hotels that have tight parking were automatically dismissed. We walked inside and the hotel smelled cleaned and was visibly clean. We were thrilled to see tiled floors because hotels with carpets can smell pretty nasty. They gave us a 1st floor room so we can easily take out the dog. Staff were polite and friendly. This was a great stop on a long road trip. The only criticism I have is there weren't many vegan options for the breakfast - like offering a plant-based milk for the cereal, plant-based butter for the bagels, nuts/granola and a plant-based yogurt - small additions make a difference. Other than that, it was excellent.

Friendly workers. The cleanliness of room was great expect for the pipes showing and ventilation system. If you have kids be cautious if your room doesn't hide the pipes from the kids under the sink. The office table was too close to the ventilation system so all the air blows directly on you if your there to work from laptop. The Dove products are amazing. I love the products they supply for those staying there.

It is located very convenient in the city, everything was 10-15 min away. Also being that highways make it fast and efficient to travel anywhere in the city, you’re literally next to a major highway. Loved the lobby area, spent most of my time there watching tv with family and other guest. Also dining area allowed me to hold a small birthday party for my son.
