A beautiful nice place. Typically a large park and a very good place for walking. This is just not a park, more than something of a park. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Ohio River, all the four bridges, especially, The Big Four Bridge. The Big Four Bridge connects Indiana and Kentucky. An amazing place. And another important thing is that this park has a wide picnic area. It would be an ideal place for small to medium get together or picnic. Enjoying the beautiful landscape is a bonus.

Beautiful place! Was able to walk by the river a long ways. They have lots of paths and big areas of grass. Nice place for hanging out, having a picnic, letting the kiddos burn some energy, or have a nice relaxing walk by the Ohio river🤗

The waterfront is so beautiful and relaxing. Great photo opportunities as well. I think its awesome that as you walk, there are areas where artists go to sit & paint. We've also come across drone pilots, and musical artists.

Nice quiet spot to walk around. There were geese everywhere so it was hard not to step on the droppings. But I highly recommend on visiting if you're looking for a nearby place to get away from the hustle & bustle of city life & just enjoy the peaceful scenery cause I know my dog & I did.

Visited this during our weekend visit to Louisville. Walked about a bit in the park and then went on the big four bridge. This park offers beautiful views. Once the lights are on, it feels so pleasant to walk on the bridge. During daytime, its kind of sunny. Lots of benches available to sit down if you are tired. No entrance fee for the park. Would definitely recommend visiting this park at night.

What a utopic multi use space. . From picnic planners, bike riders, Mom's power walking with strollers, artists capturing the scenery, or people sitting and conversing this is the place to be and its free! There is a "Snack Box" located by the parking lot with a concession clerk and a large menu posted for a wide variety of snacking choices. PRICES are reasonable! There is ample handicapped accessible parking available as well as handicapped accessible rest rooms. All within view of the rivers' landscape.

Driving thru from Florida to Wisconsin we stopped here and rode our bikes 21 miles around the whole area on a nice, dry, 97 degree day. The long pedestrian bridge is spectacular and the downtown area was a fun ride as well. We even crossed the bridge into Jeffersonville, Indiana to explore there too. Cool place for sure, hope to visit again someday.

Attended Funkfest here and it was an amazing space. The waterfront location is so ideal. The city of Louisville provided amazing logistical support with ample parking options and the people of Louisville were just amazing.

Nice park on a sunny day. We really enjoyed walking along the waterfront and seeing the great views of the bridges. The park is clean and well maintained. Plenty of street parking. It is popular with walkers, runners, cyclists and photographers. Please make plans to stop by and visit.

Very nice experience at the Waterfront Park at the Arts Festival today. Lots of food trucks and plenty of booths to look at. The parking isn’t too bad since there are some free lots and street parking!

Great park! Came for the Big Four Arts Festival which appeared wonderful, although I wish didn't close so early both days. Stayed and enjoyed the breeze and view of the Ohio river, then later the salsa music and dancers was cool. Lots of people enjoyed the beautiful day and the park was still clean.

Nice variety of playground equipment for the kiddos; lots of benches and swings for moms and Gramma's to watch the kiddos and the boats on the river. Nice paved riverside path for a sweet stroll. Shaded and breezy. Bathrooms and plenty of free parking. Great way to spend a couple of hours. Highly recommend you give it a try!

Amazing place. We were traveling from MN. A little bit dark the parking lot areas but we are assuming is part of the lights performance. Nice people walking and sharing. I don’t think is a dangerous place. I’m from a Crazy city ‘Caracas’ and is difficult to see worst scenarios. So, If your are here, in Louisville you must come Here

Nice riverfront area where events happen. There are walking paths, multiple playgrounds, and a splash pad. Some of the parking under the bridge seemed to have some sketchy individuals (a lady staring at us and erratically talking either to herself or to us), so we found parking that we felt more comfortable with. Cute swing seats lined the walking paths and what looked to be a dock to get closer to the river was there but not accessible at the time my family and I visited because of an event setting up for the day. There was a cool little dock/pier that we were able to access and get a clear, open view of the river and bridges.

The different options of playground equipment for the kiddos; benches for a picnic; splash water will add double fun. You can Walk through a waterway that has a Nice paved riverside path for a sweet stroll. Be prepared; Hard to find a free parking lot on weekends. Hungry while having fun?” Snack Box" is located by the parking lot with a concession clerk and a large menu posted for a wide variety of snack choices at a reasonable price. You can hike along with dogs across the bridge that connects Kentucky and Indiana. Want more exploring? Just rent Electric Bike, electric scooters, a double Surrey, and more from under the bridge.

Waterfront Park is a non-profit, public park in Louisville, Kentucky. We connect people to the river and ensure our waterfront remains an asset that can be enjoyed by the community forever.

Real nice place to visit and relax. Almost like the beach, w/o the sand and surf with a walk pathway from one end of the city to the next.

While on TAD with company, had chance to sight-see. Walked across bridge into Indiana and back into Kentucky. THAT is some exercise. Met some very nice people too.

Probably one of the prettiest waterfronts I've seen in an American city. If you go, start at the Belle and walk to the Big Four pedestrian bridge. Wear comfortable shoes that may get wet. And don't bring your dog onto that bridge.

I believe Riverfront Park is one of the highlights of Louisville. For the most part, it seems well maintained and fairly clean. The walking bridge is one of a kind. I enjoy biking in this area and across the bridge to the Indiana side.

This is my favorite park! Great playground, and beautiful scenery!! Just don't park in the parking lot after 11 pm because your car will either towed or booted! Seriously!! It happened to me about two months ago, since then, I've only been back a handful of times.

Great park. Plenty of walking paths and a walking bridge over the River to Indiana. There are bike rentals, even with options for two and four people. Lots of restrooms, playground and in the summer there's a splash park. Or you can relax on numerous fixed or swinging benches and enjoy the river. You might even see a barge or if you're lucky a paddle steamer.

A delightful surprise was to discover the Waterfront Park on a beautiful day during my first visit to Louisville, KY. A great place to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city with plenty of walking paths, peaceful scenery and majestic views. The park is both a non-profit organization and an 85-acre public space adjacent to the downtown area of Louisville overlooking the Ohio River.  There are bike rentals, restrooms, playground, water features, kids play areas, public art, and a splash park in season. Fun to also take the Louisville Riverwalk to the Louisville Historic Warf and see the Mary M. Miller Riverboat and Belle of Louisville docked. Check it out. You'll be glad you did.

Great place for a picnic! Even on a cold winter day, Waterfront Park has lots of places where you can park and watch the river. We brought a carry-out lunch and ate while watching the Ohio River rise after heavy rains. Lots of paved #accessible walking paths. My dogs always enjoy the new sights and smells of nature and the urban setting. Lots of playground areas and green spaces for the kiddos along with quite benches, heavy-duty swings and places to relax, do yoga, read a book, or just enjoy nature while you're downtown.

Love this park by the river. Playground areas are awesome for the kiddo. Varying size playthings for big kids and toddlers. Fun to walk around by the river and watch the boats, maybe see an abandoned scooter lying in a field. Perhaps swing on a bench under the trees and pick up a tick on your leg. All good fun in Kentucky!

Love days where I can walk the Big 4 Bridge @ Louisville Waterfront Park...Burn some calories, walk across & check out the revitalization -restaurants-local shops in Jeffersonville, IN. **Support these small businesses & services** Good eats, family-friendly and new open air establishments that are good to watch sports on TV around fun folks. Nicely done!!

Really beautiful and relaxing place to take a walk by the water or on the bridge. The whole bridge lights up in the evening and it is awesome!! Loved going here with our daughter in the evening as there is a big playground and swings for kids. Lots of parking and restrooms on the site as well.

My friend and I attended Waterfront Wednesday yesterday evening . This was the first time either one of us ever went and we had a great time. There were lots of local food trucks so we had a variety of things to choose from. The bands were awesome. We both were able to check out a couple of bands were weren't familiar with and we were not disappointed. The park was very clean and there was plenty of space to sit without feeling crowded. Can't wait until next year to attend!
