To
start,
I
expected
very
little
by
booking
here.
It
was
over
50%
cheaper
than
the
others
though,
so
I
figured
I
would
just
go
to
Walmart
and
grab
whatever
I
needed
to
make
the
stay
more
bareable,
should
it
require.
At
this
rate
per
night,
it
was
either
this
motel,
or
camping
for
only
slightly
cheaper.
Something
to
keep
in
mind!
So
with
that
being
said,
here's
my
first
day's
honest
review
:
Upsides;
-
Staff
at
checkin
is
very
friendly
even
though
we're
in
a
busy
period
-
AC
is
old
and
the
case
is
beat
BUT
IT
WORKS!
Very
important
in
95F
weather.
-
Lots
of
restaurants/stores
nearby
-
Inexpensive!
A
lot
of
the
"downsides"
below
are
easily
fixed
for
little
money.
Downsides;
-
Upon
entering
room,
a
strong
smell
of
cigarettes,
mold,
and
lack
of
air
circulation
all
over.
I
sprayed
a
generous
dose
of
Febreeze
and
will
have
to
spray
some
more
a
couple
of
times
a
day.
Bad
smell
is
back
after
an
hour
or
so.
-
The
sheets
have
holes
and
different
stains
(blood,
whatever
other
bodily
fluids).
I
bought
a
new
set
of
sheets
at
Walmart
for
20
bucks,
and
a
pillow.
-
The
bath
is
absolutely
horrendous.
I've
never
seen
a
bath
so
stained.
I
bought
flip
flops
to
wear
while
showering.
-
Saw
a
cockroach
in
the
clothes
drawer,
front
desk
was
notified
and
said
someone
would
come
by
and
spray
everything
the
next
day.
I
will
update
as
needed!
My
advice
to
bookers;
Prepay
your
stay
to
avoid
reservation
issues,
this
place
is
packed
Walmart
is
a
15min
walk
away,
there
you
will
find
everything
you
need
to
make
your
stay
more
enjoyable
(febreeze
spray,
bedding,
etc)
Don't
expect
4
stars
at
a
2
star
motel.
Know
what
to
expect
so
you're
not
disappointed!
Don't
come
here
for
1-2
nights.
3
nights+;
worth
getting
supplies
vs.
regular
priced
hotels
So
to
help
make
your
stay
worthwhile
;
be
ready
to
improvise!
At
the
end
of
the
day,
it's
a
cheap
place
to
sleep.
My
advice
to
management
;
Please
get
rid
of
damaged
or
stained
sheets.
Keeping
notes
of
maintenance
needed
in
rooms
as
the
customers
mention
it
and
following
up
No
need
for
renos
yet
(except
maybe
that
dark
stained
tub!),
but
cleanliness
is
always
appreciated
wherever
we
go.
I
bought
cleaning
supplies
for
my
own
preferences
but
I'm
sure
a
thorough
cleaning
after
each
visit
would
help
keep
clean
overall.
Maybe
do
a
round
of
each
room
2-4
times
a
year
with
a
checklist
of
things
to
verify
such
as
battery
in
smoke
détector,
bathroom
fan,
sheets,
stains,
odours,
bugs
etc.
This
being
said,
I
wish
the
owner
and
his
team
great
success!
It's
not
easy
to
manage
a
business
like
this
one.
