Well maintained park with a very nice playground. They have many picnic tables and even a covered gazebo that can be rented out for parties; it was vacant when we visited on a Thursday. I loved that the paved walking/bike path was stroller friendly. There was a nice big hill as well to help get those muscles activated! A bike repair stop was setup along the path, which is a great addition to the bike-friendly park.

This park shares space that is also known as part of the Olmsted Parks Conservancy and both are absolutely wonderfully functional, landscaped scenery that offers a vast array of absolutely perfect outdoor recreation that is just great for all ages. A picturesque vista during all seasons but the spring and fall of course have the most spectacular displays for the usual visual shows of color. This makes the parks ideal for family recreation and planning year round. Always super well kept, this park never has any trash out litter and it's super inviting for exercise goals and rituals to lazy all day picnicking and birdwatching...As well as any other creature or critter one could imagine. Always such lovely plant and animal life to behold here as well. Just the complete package for an ideal recreational area that leaves the typical park in the dark, void of visitors.

Good walking path, nice and relaxing. Really puts you in touch with the important things in life. Great place to walk, rain, shine, snow, wind, whatever the weather. The first picture is looking from the bench towards the house, the second is from the same bench looking towards Trevillian Way, the third picture is looking southeast on Trevillian Way from the bench behind the tennis courts, and the fourth picture is looking directly at the zoo entrance from the same bench. The gazebo is neat and well maintained. Nice setting for a picnic with plenty of picnic tables and a jungle gym for children.

It is nice park and very good for a day picnic. Clean park, big parking lot, multiple kids play area , very long walking track is the speciality. Three big chairs is the uniqueness of this park. Have a half day trip with food/ snacks. Enjoy beautiful time of your life with your family/love one. Also nice place to see fall season as the walking track is surrounded by forest.

Now that cars are allowed back in Cherokee Park, its annoying for walking. Creason has a great path as well as trails and other amenities. Nice and quiet like a park should be!

A beautiful park across from the Louisville Zoo. It has excellent amenities. It just hosted the USA National Cyclocross Championships. It will host them again in December of 2024.

Love this park! I took my 1.5 year old here and we were able to do almost all of the playground equipment together (with me by her side, of course). There are several stations with playcourses and swing sets, lots of room to picnic, plenty of shade as well as open field areas. In the winter it has one of the biggest - maybe THE biggest - and best hills in the city to sled down. Usually easy to find a parking space and not very crowded for how awesome it is. The entrance is right across from the Louisville Zoo. (The photo is of my daughter on the swing set, lol. She actually had a wonderful time, but I thought her expression was funny, so I shared!)

Great park for running. Took off from the top. I probably should have looked at the trail map before taking off. I made several wrong turns. Ended up on a busy boulevard. But luckily I was able to find the trail and made it back to my car. Super hilly in spots. It was sunny and 65 degrees while I ran. Didnt see all of the park due to my detour. But still a great run

Nice big park with lots of activities and places to walk around. Easy to find and a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle. We went here for Treefest and had a great time!

My favorite park near home...I use the playground, walking path, shade, lots of picnic tables, open fields, bathrooms, gazebo, and there is much more here...I feel safe here...we go here often after visiting the zoo across the street

Park itself is beautiful. Path is laid out so that you can take shorter or longer walk. HOWEVER over the last 3 years they have taken out many park benches that are needed by elderly, disabled, parents with small kids, etc. Or for anyone who just wants to sit, relax & enjoy nature. 5 that I counted when I requested they be returned, 1 more removed since that request. Park employees denied any had been removed. However, at the time there was proof in form of concrete bases on ground where some benches once sat. Our parks are for everyone, not just the strong ones that can jog around them. If you like this park but like or need to stop & rest occasionally, complain!! Elderly & disabled rating: D-

Clean, quiet, absolutely love the way that there are multiple parks and 3 swing sets. Perfect little place for walking your dog or just a good stroll

What an amazing park!! There are two separate playgrounds, a swing set for babies and toddlers only, a swing set for babies and older kids and then a swing set for just older kids. They have a great gazebo with decent seating inside! The also have clean bathrooms, and a really cool big upside down branch with stumps placed in a circle that kids can jump from one stump to another, all in various sizes. It's a really fun family oriented park. By far the best one I've taken my kids to!!!

Great place for children to play. It is also a great area for adults to walk or run.

We had my granddaughters birthday party at the play area. It was very neat and arranged well. Since it was also very hot (92 degrees) I was very disappointed that it didn't have at least a simple water feature like a fountain that the kids could run through & cool off in. I would also have enjoyed this very much as I have at other parks with her. This was my first time at this park.
