I'm not sure when they added a thick crust, but it's on the menu now. I think it's just two regular crusts smashed together. Regardless of crust, I like it better than any of the Huts, Noes, or cardboard from Papa. This location is a pretty old school type pizza parlor atmosphere. The Mama and meat lovers are stacked with toppings. Great for a work lunch feast.

It has been quite a while since we were here last. Went in for lunch and ordered the single serving pizza. Needless to say, the pizza crust was very dry. I hardly found any pepperoni on my pizza, and the other one, a momma bearno, had so much liquid on the plate that it was almost a stew. We don't have plans to ever return. The waitress was the best thing about the place!

Just not what it used to be. As the price goes up the pizza gets smaller with fewer topping. It has lost what used to be a good value and gotten to expensive for what it is.

You just came beat Bearno's in my opinion. I've been eating there for as long as I can remember and the quality is as fantastic as always. I love their pizza but got meatballs with some onions, peppers and banana peppers then a full loaf of garlic bread. Made my own meatball sandwiches and they were, as always amazing!

Bearno's is the best place for pizza in KY, not just Louisville!!! It doesn't matter which Bearino's you eat at, they all have the same great taste!! I don't get my pizza fix from anywhere else!!!

Bearnos has really went down the tubes. We were regular purchasers of bearnos food for 19 years. We live within a 1/2 mile and always enjoyed their products. Until about 6 months ago the food has went severely down in quality.They Also have one of the rudest women we've ever spoken to at the Preston highway store. They cannot get our order right? And they are very rude when you call and ask for something special. When delivered the wrong product we have asked for a person to come switch it out and they explained to us that they can't do that so it's our. Problem that they got things wrong. And this has happened several times. Mr. Beam needs to definitely do some secret shopping and check out this lady. She is very rude and mean talking. We are not confused as to why craft pizza is so busy all the time. They are a few miles from us but will be getting our business from this day forward. Your customer service and the quality of your food is definitely has room for improvement. My wife and I just ordered food from there and threw away over half of it.

Didn't feel much like cooking, so I decided to order online for delivery. Delivery came faster than expected, and the driver was nice, but the food was not good. Bearnos was my pizza of choice, but the quality has gone down. I ordered $48 worth of food a large Mama Bearnos, some spicy wings, and a two liter soda. The only thing that tasted good was the soda. The pizza sauce tasted bland the only seasoning I tasted was salt. The wings were just as bland, but they were spicy and well done like I requested. It was so tasteless that thought I had Covid. I asked my mom could she taste the food, and she said it was just bland. Hate to say it, but next time I'm just going to Papa Johns. I tried Bearnos about a year ago and it was a "meh" experience, but I wrote it off as maybe I caught them on a off night. I'm done, and my $48 is just sitting in the trash can.

I ordered a Mama Bearno on 4/19/23. Delivered. I have been doing business with you guys for over forty years and we couldn't finish it. The thing was greasy and the mix of the ingredients wasn't right. Absolutely the worst pizza ever. I'm putting you guys on notice now. If my next pizza is any where as bad the next time I will be bringing back for a refund.

Omg what a rude woman. She acts like she is busy. And snaps at me because I wasn’t standing in correct part of store to get a pick up order. I remember her from last time. I thought it was just a bad day. Nope she is like this every day. I visit 10 restaurants a day and she is by far the meanest I’ve met. She needs to be fired or put in back so she isn’t abusing customers. She is Bordrn line unfit to be in customer public. I will never coke here again if this is condoned by Bearnos. There are 12 other local pizza places far better and will greet you with a smile and courteous attitude and happy you’re here. She prefer no one there so she don’t have to work or maybe she is just mean to everyone even off duty. If she worked for me she would at minimum go thru customer service training but she would just fake it. Can’t train meaness out of ppl. If I could give it zero stars i would. Check out derby city pizza or wicks or inpellizerris ( my fav) and boom bozz and many more. Hell even dominos is better then this.

Disappointed with the Preston Highway Pizza. I couldn't call it a Bearno's Pizza. Going to Talyorsville Road location next time.

9-25-22 about 1pm: Just finshed lunch and it was greatness. Small hole in the wall but there are others in the area Tried baked mozzarella on top of spaghetti, just wished they had meat sauce as option but it was very good nonetheless. The garlic bread that cane with it was very good too. Medium pizza with beef and half pepperoni. Been awhile since had a great pizza with no skimpy toppings and it was great Lady was waiting tables, answering phones and walk-in order's along with trying to help prep. Two others in kitchen cooking. Great food and service, highly recommended!

This place is absolutely wonderful every time!!! I’d rather have Bearno’s over Wick’s any day of the week because of their “CONSISTENCY” which Wick’s is not!!! I can order my food and it’s going to be perfect every single time I go!!! Bearno’s is The Best Pizza in Louisville for a reason!!!

A bit noisy for my liking. Pizza was ok. it could have been better if the crust had been crispy. Over all I probably would give it another shot.

We had a very rude middle aged blonde waitress at the downtown location. She snarled at us when we asked for a refill last night after she passed us several times without checking on us Then took almost 10 minutes to bring it to us. Then tried to apologize when she came back with a refill. I guess she prejudged us and didn't think we woukd be good tippers. We always tip well for good service. The pizza was excellent!

I ordered online for delivery to my hotel. Food was tasty. Delivery was quick. Delivery man was very polite. I will be ordering again next time I’m in town.

I got a crispy chicken salad today and the chicken was burnt!! 😡 I wouldn’t be so frustrated if they didn’t charge $12 for a salad!!

I was delivered a burnt pizza. Had to drive to take it back. I was told either a refund or the pizza. It wad 8 at night and I was hungry. It was not my fault someone thought it was ok to send me a burnt pizza.

Awesome pizza and service. We ordered a medium all meat and a small cheese pizza. Service was fast and they kept asking if we needed anything else. Pizza is as good as you will get outside of Italy!

Always a great pizza . Thick and loaded with toppings a bit pricey but it's not dominoes so worth it

Not a big place but wonderful pizza! Our daughter was with her archery team next door and we didn't want to do the buffet so we walked next door. Food was so good and the waitress was wonderful! If we didn't live 12 hours away we would definitely be regulars!!!

Food is ok, but very expensive. My gf and I ate here and ordered an xtra large pizza, bread sticks, wings, and two cokes for $51 before the tip. That’s just too much. Also, it took them longer to cook our pizza than some of the other customers there…and we were there first.

Worst customer service ever. Hateful lady answered the phone on 4-28. Must have been having a bad night but should not take it out on a customer with simple questions. Sorry to bother you are your job.. won't happen again that's forsure. Papa John's came through with excellent pizza at half the price.

Enjoyed going to lunch there. They have great lunch specials my husband loves the veggie pizza. I had gluten free pizza. I have different food allergies and celiac disease. Never had a problem eating there.

I paid for thick crust but I did not get what I paid for, this has happen twice. The manager gave me a hard time when I call the first time! The pizza you get when you dine in with thick crust is different than the one you get on take out. Never get take out again.pizza.

Enjoyed the food as always, but our waitress tonight was so attentive, she took the time to make sure we had everything we needed, thank you Jessica, for taking care of this needy family.

The only REAL pizza in the Okolona area. There are others that may be cheaper but the quality will leave you wishing you got a Bearno’s instead. Try the Mama’s pizza! That is awesome tasty pizza. I can only take two pieces at a time and I’m full. It is loaded with toppings! I’ve never had a problem here the always get it right!

Even though it was busy, the staff was very efficient and professional. The pizza was fresh and made just how I ordered.

I have never had such a disappointing meal. It was horrible and ridiculously expensive for a 10 inch non pizza crust type pie. And the sub was as bad if not more how are these people in business
