Probably one of the worst hotels that I have had to review. unbelievably greedy (1) they want you to PAY to park there (2) most hotels give you complimentary water they not only do not give you FREE water they put a label on water dont make the mistake I made I took them home only to find out that they charged me $5.00 a bottle and added it illegally to my credit card total cost of water $10. The front desk was unbelievably rude and discourteous and told me I was rude. Broken chair in my room. The room was filthy AND I found a champagne cork under the desk.

Rooms and hotel are not as pictured. Rooms are absolutely disgusting and dirty. Plus the smell is terrible.

This hotel was definitely not what we expected it would be. The first thing we noted was the terrible smell as we entered the lobby. That alone almost prompted us to walk out. When we got to the second floor the smell was better so we continued to our room. The room was nice but the beds were very small. The bathroom was a huge disappointment because you had to walk in and almost get in the shower before you could force the door past the toilet and close it. When I say force I mean it, as the door and toilet touch each other. Then I was tried to take a shower but it took half my shower just for the water to get hot enough to enjoy. I would say the only positive thing was the location. Plenty of things to eat within walking distance and it felt safe to walk in the area.

I stayed here over the weekend while I was in town for business. The lobby smelled horrible, like a mix of sewage and pool cleaner (I don't think they even have a pool). The rooms were clean when we arrived but for some reason our rooms were not cleaned the entire three days I stayed there, even after I asked that they be, so I could at least have clean towels. The breakfast selection left a lot to be desired. The staff were friendly and accommodating but I had to hold my nose anytime I walked through the lobby first floor because of the smell.

Lots of trees and shopping / dining/ groceries nearby. I prefer not feeling like I am staying at a strip mall next to a highway, so the trees and nice apartment complexes around make it feel more homey. I had an extra large king-size room, which was great for an extended business stay. It was a little dark, but not bad. Relaxed entrance dining area for hanging out. Nicely presented breakfasts with real dishes and silverware (not plastic). My only negative, if you want to call it, that was a very understated staff...not unfriendly just quiet/low expression.

Stopped in on a work trip for a few days. Everything was great!!! The location was great and offered easy access to restaurants and shopping. The rooms were immaculate. The breakfast was great and offered a variety every morning. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Basically I am complainer. But I had a bad experience in this hotel. Front desk was not friendly second thing I got room 407 was sink not drain. So change my room second room has a same things my bathroom tub drain back up full of water. And toilet sheets is loose almost felt down. Just lack of maintenance otherwise all good

Katelyn Watson is a desk clerk but she also doubles as a telephone receptionist, short order cook, waitress, busboy, bartender, and anything else you can imagine about running a hotel. We saw her run this entire hotel lobby by herself during our stay. And she did it with a smile Andy laugh that tinkles like a teeny wind chime. She was back again the very next morning with the same smile and laugh but with the appropriate support staff. While we were having breakfast a guest an issue came to the desk with a phantom problem. Her persistence in a verbal jackhammering at Kaitlyn continued to be met with a grace and a smile while doing everything she could to please this woman who refused to be pleased or placated. When the complainer FINALLY left Kaitlyn was still her cheery self attending to other guests needs. Katelyn is a winner!!! BTW- our room was exceptional for the price.

We stayed for a night at this hotel. The hotel is alright. I think it's due renovation. Our room's carpet looked old and dirty. Nothing a cleaning crew could do to make it appear clean. The bathroom door is obstructed by a toilet and won't close. The lady who checked us in was very rude to speak with. We made a few requests and her response was very rude. The hotel also requires paid parking which they do validate but I had to ask for it myself as opposed to the hotel staff making me aware.

First night we had a flat tire due to the hotel contractor installing the pay to park signs left screws in the parking lot. Last night we had a window busted out and $2,500.00 worth of damage and stolen property. Management avoided my calls for a week and denied responsibility. This is not a safe or clean place to stay. Read the reviews!

Beware there is a parking fee of $10 per day. Did not know this prior to booking and was never mentioned anywhere until arriving. The rooms were clean so no issues there. Most hotels offer you a courtesy water bottle, but cost $5 for 1 bottle. You will be nickeld and fined for anything here. Breakfast is included but expect the minimum. It is located in a central local surrounded by a plethora of restaurant options and stores for just about anything you need.

We booked a stay at this hotel in order to move our son off to college. We had originally booked the complete wrong date, over a month off, but the front desk was able to help us straighten everything out quickly after a long day driving. Maybe five minutes at the front desk. The first floor was very updated and nice. We were on the third floor. Halls looked similar to an old holiday inn. But the room was as to be expected for a Hyatt. Absolutely worth the little higher cost and why we try to always book Hyatt. You never feel cramped. Though I will say, look into the placement of the bed next to an ac unit. I think we were in room 300. Actually sit down and try it. No matter how careful or slow I got up, I always stubbed my toe on it. We took a look at the breakfast, and it looked reasonable, but we passed to go hang with our son instead, the next morning.

I had a 2 night stay booked with Hyatt on Hurstbourne in Louisville KY. I chose this hotel because we’ve stayed there before. Unfortunately, for me, plans changed midway through my stay. I spoke with Evan Johnson, one on the hotel managers and he understood my problem. He gave the “ok” to refund my 2nd night. Kaitlyn, the front desk lady was a big help, too. I’ve already booked another stay with this great hotel. It’s near lots of shopping and eating in Louisville. Clean room, great water pressure, easy check-in, and pet friendly.

1st room A/C was leaking all over the carpet, and the room smelled like mold. 2nd room was much better, shower had mold in it, hotel had no hot water for 12hrs. 1st day pool was all green need to be cleaned so couldnt use it till second day. Other than that all was good.

Skip this one. It does not hold the same standard as the other Hyatt Places. They shoved everyone on the first floor and put us in a room next to a loud barking dog despite the fact the hotel was barely occupied. Cleaning sub standard- oh and we woke up to the fire alarm going off for almost 30-45 minutes in the middle of the night and then enjoyed someone’s car alarm going off after and the dog barking for 20 minutes after that. Nobody at the front desk would answer or say what was going on, I’m sure we won’t be discounted or refunded.

Dog friendly hotel with really welcoming staff members. Great value at a place accessible to many good restaurants including Gus Fried Chicken and convenient stores! Would love to come back.

Had an excellent stay here. It was the perfect place to stay for my family weekend getaway as it was close enough to downtown and events without having to be stuck in traffic. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Had to ask for an extra sheet and the front desk had no problem with letting us have one. Each morning the front desk checked to make sure we had a great evening and that everything was ok. Breakfast was a perfect balance of grab and go that worked great for my group. Loved that a books store and Aldi's were within walking distance. Staff was amazing and would highly recommend this location to anyone!

This was a terrible experience for us. The bathroom was so small the door wouldnt close without scraping the toilet. The front desk person was not friendly. They didnt even have a toothbrush we could have. The breakfast was awful. The room was set up so you couldnt really see the tv from the bed. I usually love hyatts but I would never stay at this one again.

Mt stay at the Hyatt East, Louisville was excellent. T he hotel was clean, comfortable, and the location great with lots of eateries and stores nearby. But the most important thing was that the staff was so friendly and always willing to help. I want to give a special thanks to Casey Marcum, one of the receptionists that went out of her way to help me out personally.

Excellent hotel and staff. Nolan at the front desk was great. Breakfast was adequate, but the rooms were fantastic. Very nice and modern. Super clean rooms, gym, bar and commons area. Conveniently located right off the highway. I will definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff, clean room, great location. Casey, who works at the front desk, was so sweet and helpful!

Casey is super friendly and helpful! The rest of the staff are great as well! Hotel is always clean and taken care of. Nice to be able to come down and have a night cap without leaving the hotel.

I came here after a pipe burst in my condo on Xmas eve. I probably wasn’t exhibiting my best attitude, but Casey at the front desk was the absolute best. She made sure that I had everything I needed and even knew of the near by places places that were still open for dinner (I was so stressed and starving)! I couldn’t help but find myself in a better mood thanks to her kindness, hospitality and professionalism. I will literally refer everyone I know to stay at her hotel.

Loved this hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer. The staff is so helpful. The wet bar, microwave and mini fridge almost make it like an airbnb as long as you bring paper plates. Breakfast is provided, of course. Quiet night, comfortable bed and love the cozy corner sofa. We will definitely plan to stay here next time we are in the area.

Decent hotel to stay at, the staff was amazing. Downside the breakfast wasn't the greatest. The rooms could be updated to have usb charging. Some wall outlets didn't work.

We stayed for 3 nights for a baseball tournament, this was a pay and stay hotel on the list. Upon arrival, they notified us the pool was closed due to “chemical imbalance”. Coincidentally, just the days of our ball team stays. Our room had major plumbing issues. The sinks wouldn’t drain, backing up in shower and toilet. Their fix, not rent the room next to us, undo the plumbing in that room, and put a 5 gallon bucket in it so we could use our sink! If you aren’t going to be a kid friendly hotel, please don’t be on the pay and stay list. Our boys had absolutely nothing to do, along with 2 other teams that were staying there at the time. Very disappointing.

Close to a lot of restaurants and near highway Took close to 45min to get a vacuum to the room, had to call 3 times ..even offered to get to the level where the vacuum was located. They used a very strong chemical cleaning product to mop the floors. Caused me to have stomach pain within 15 seconds of getting off the elevator. I mentioned it to Katelyn and all she said is I am following the CDC requirements. Just an FYI, they use a product that has live bacteria and it's not listed in the ingredients. Long story with one of my coworkers in the maintenance dept at my work place. Let's just say, if you don't use soap and water to wash it off right away, the live bacteria starts eating your flesh. Does have a variety for breakfast.

To start, We had made two separate reservations as we decided to stay and extra night before we even arrived. First problem was they couldn't find the second reservation so a third had to be made. They give an option for early check in but once you arrive and try to check in early they tell you sorry it can't be guaranteed. No manager on site the entire weekend and couldn't even tell us when one would actually be there. The pool was out of service and we weren't informed until we got there. The breakfast was awful. Stale food and expired fruit. When informed of the problem they just left it there instead of tossing it. Plates and silverware were dirty. The rooms were fine except for you had to lift the toilet seat in order to even open the bathroom door. I would never recommend family or friends to stay here and I certainly will never stay here again which is unfortunate because it is so close to family. Called corporate and they never got back to us. Horrible experience.

We booked Hyatt Lousiville-East for the Bluegrass Pug Festival! The rooms and overall decor was very glamorous and impressive. They managed to keep everything super clean even though there were lots of other doggies staying as well. I was worried that we would be able to hear all the other dogs but the walls were surprisingly sound resistant and the blinds made it feel like midnight even in the middle of the day. The bed was honestly the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. The channel selection was kind of lame. Of course I'm saying that compared to the streaming services I have access to at home. Didn't get to take advantage of the free breakfast so can't comment on that. I can say that guest services were really frustrating and confusing. Ultimately we were able to resolve issues but in the future I will be calling on the phone to confirm and pay.

I was in Louisville for a week for doing speech stuff and we chose this hotel. The rooms we nice and clean and no loud noises. This was around a bunch of restaurants, so it was hard to choose which one to go too, lol. The service was good, but if you are at a hotel more than a week, they don't clean your room, unless you ask for it. I would want to come to this hotel again, but try to ask for room service for often. Totally would recommend staying here and thank you for a warm breakfast.
