My Best Friend and I went to get a permanent bracelets at Merkley Kendrick on 02.21.23 and had the best experience! We definitely were not the high-end customers that are probably typical to their -amazing- showroom but they treated us, the same as they would anyone else. Offered us drinks several times, we’re super polite and so very nice to us. We didn’t have an appointment either, and they were still welcoming and didn’t make us feel bad for not booking an appointment ahead of time. (I would recommend doing so, though!) We had a super-cool jeweler named Jaqueline, who took great care of us and was super friendly. It was a quick and painless process, we didn’t feel a thing! I also appreciate the lifetime warranty for my bracelet - and a reason I chose Merkley Kendrick over other store that carry permanent jewelry in Louisville, Kentucky. An overall great experience!

They did a fabulous job helping me put together an engagement ring! After meeting with Brian, he helped me piece together the 'clues' she had given me for the past year and we set out on putting the ring together. It took several trips to look at probably a dozen center stones they had shipped in to make sure we had the best one for the budget. They knew the deadline and met it with time to spare! She was ecstatic and it was a great experience.

Classy establishment with gracious, friendly, & knowledgeable sales staff. I worked with Matt to select the perfect Rolex for me. Matt stated that it would be 6-8 months. He called me every month or so on updates. It finally arrived after less than 6 months. This whole Rolex buying experience is totally new to me. I originally spoke to Matt last week and he told me I would have to come in to their store to place an order. With other research I have done, I was not surprised when he informed me of this. I live in Lexington which is 1.5 hour away. I made the trip today and placed an order on a new Rolex. From the moment I walked into the store, I was treated like family. Matt was very professional and informative. He called me a couple hrs after my visit to follow up on my order and provided an update. I had previously spoken to another dealer and it seemed they didn’t really care if they got my business or not. If today’s visit is any indication of how this store does all their business, Merkley Kendrick, and Matt will receive all my future business. Can’t wait till my new Rolex arrives.

I cannot advocate enough for this wonderful business! I had a request for a vintage watch repair that was going to be a surprise gift for my spouse. Unfortunately, the cost of repairs exceeded expectations, and I had to decline services. However, when I picked up the vintage watch, I was surprised to see that they were able to at least reattach the seconds hand for me. Accordingly, throughout this whole process, the communication and the professionalism was unparalleled; I will be a return customer when the occasion arises!

Contacted MK about the availability of several watches in which I'm interested. Received a very welcoming email from Rachel inviting me to visit the store. Stopped in and met Alex and Matt. Everyone was very friendly and a pleasure to speak with. Ended up working with Alex and buying a watch for my wife, who was beyond happy with it. Excellent experience! Just made another purchase from MK and the second experience was just as great as the first. When I decided I wanted to buy a ring for my wife, I contacted Alex. He and I went through the initial steps, then Matt took over. Matt was fantastic to work with. We spoke about what I had in mind, then with that information, he was able to get exactly what I was looking for. All through the process he kept me updated and was able to have the ring ready even sooner than I had expected. If you're looking for a peaceful and personalized shopping experience for your watches or jewelry, Merkley Kendrick is the place to be. I worked with Mark during my visit, and felt like attending to my needs was the only thing on his mind. We talked for about an hour about watches old and new. We talked openly about the ones we each liked and disliked, and the ones that had been special to each of us along the way. All the while, trying on some of the exhibition models in the case and discussing each of them and their functions. Mark knew all there is to know about each one. While I didn't leave with a watch, I do feel as if he wants to get one on my wrist. I felt valued and respected like I was the only customer of the store! I hope this was the first of many visits, with many watches and a lifetime of jewelry and special moments. Can't recommend Merkley Kendrick highly enough, despite never yet having the privilege of being a customer.

I have been using Merkley Kendrick for jewelry and Rolex purchases for 25 years. Mark and everyone there are excellent and can honestly get or make anything your heart desires. I would highly recommend them for anything when it comes to diamonds, vintage jewelry or Rolex.

Went here a while back to put my name on the list for a Rolex I really wanted. They flat out told me the model I wanted was for their "higher" spending customers, and that I more or less had no chance of getting it. I still asked nicely to be considered, and the lady took my name in a small piece of paper (I assume to throw away immediately). Anyways, got the same model I wanted from Davis Jewelers without the pretentiousness of this store. Can't recommend a place that expects you to spend thousands of dollars to have the CHANCE to buy something you are willing and ready to pay for. EDIT: Updating my review as the owner was true to his word. He actually talked to me and again was very sincere in his apology about my experience. He strongly emphasized that the experience I had is not what they strive for, and to hope to do business in the future if I change my mind. While my initial experience was not great, the owner's willingness to go above and beyond for a 1 on 1 conversation to apologize is much appreciated.
