The man who runs this store is legitimately racist. I live across the street from the store and he more often than not will ask any black person who enters the store to leave. I’ve seen him come out to shoo off black people just looking at coins he put out in window displays. He obviously doesn’t say anything out loud about it, but the store is more or less whites only, unless you have something to sell him.

I come here every week, Norm is a great man. TIP: if you buy a few things on first offer, and bring some things worth while for him, he will be sure to remember your name. A familiar face gets SIGNIFICANT price drops, and he will crack open his safe! All-American old timer, you will not find his kind anywhere else in Louisville or Jeffersonville, and I've been to them all. I am a well-learned numismatist with many tricks, tips, and tests. Learn your coin/metal dealers, learn your coin/metal worth, learn to test dealers for level of integrity, give loyalty first before demanding it. Most important: Always let a merchant make a buck!

He tried to sell me some overpriced 90% silver Kennedy half dollars. I talked him down and bought some. Then the next weekend I try to go in there and he kicks me out and tells me he does not want my business. If I were you I will go to Cherokee Coin. They are some good people

I went there to see how much some old stamp where going for and maybe a sale. What a waste of time. Will never go back!!!

Hate to give one star but the guy that runs the establishment really has set up appointments asking of things I wanted and when I show up he completely forgot and makes another appointment to come back and the same thing happens . I guess age has got the best of him and I understand that. This used to be one of my favorite places to go buy for my collection and now it’s just a mess . Wouldn’t recommend at all considering nothing is on display and you can’t really get the guy to show you anything.

Took some pre 1964 silver to sell them.which they say they lost my mercury never paid me nothing then went on to tell me my silver. e was onley 57% pure and kept my dime no appoligy nothing.not evean a phone.call they owe me 50. For my trouble

I am not really sure. If he thinks that the future is scary. Or anything else like that. I am not A cheat. Hey 28 cents for A penny. That is better then counting by 1. Anyway he has some really great things in there. Me I was thinking about collecting. But he really changed my mine. I might decide to go back. If you have any things that you want to keep. Keep it do not spend it. Because trying to replace it. It is harder than you think.

I had some 1901 wheat Penny's Buffalo Indian Head a lot of oldhe only offered me $2.45 for them off then got mad when I didn't sell them to him for $2.45 and I told him that they meant more to me than that for the history and he got really upset talk about customer service 👍

Norman pays me more than any other buyer, he's more than fair, and he's always buying. I get appraisals elsewhere, and then I come to Treasure Island to sell.

Great place to buy stamps, albums and supplies. Norm and Betty are very helpful and knowledgeable about stamps. I've been doing business with them for over 30 years.

Poor customer service very rude does not know how to talk to customers

Norm, I haven't been in either your shop or your church since I relocated back to west-central Indiana. Will try to swing by the place on Broadway if (as anticipated) I revisit Kentucky toward the end of February.
