This something I didn't even know existed in Louisville. This store was amazing and you felt like you were having an experience from the time you entered until you left. So many items that we see in other department stores, and items I have not seen anywhere else. So check this place out ladies when you head to Louisville to shop. You will not be disappointed. Men you will equally enjoy the store as the men's section is filled with options as well. Even though I just went in to see what it was about, I really really enjoyed the live entertainment in the center of the store playing recognizable toons that drew me further into the center to enjoy. We loved shopping at Von Maur. We were visiting in Louisville and the wife needed to pick up a pair of shoes. She found exactly what she wanted there in the Oxmore store.

The staff at Von Maur treated my lady with courtesy and respect. They were helpful in finding things for her to wear to a day at the races. I was impressed.

If you like to dress well, or if you just like opulent settings and mind boggling selections at reasonable prices - look no further. I am a fan for life, but I do like to dress well, so go figure.

I’ve been shopping here for about 20 years now and I love this store. From the staff in every department that are so friendly and helpful to the great selection of products. I’m not a wealthy person and some of the items are very upscale, but I don’t mind paying. The old saying, “you get what you pay for “, fits perfectly here. From the person playing the piano at the store to the free gift wrap all year round, to the interest free store credit card and free shipping. If there’s ever a problem with a purchase, they will go overboard to make it right. The moment you enter Von Maur, it feels like an experience rather than just a trip shopping. The store is always beautifully decorated. I shop here at least one to two times a week, and in my opinion we are lucky to have them here in Louisville, Kentucky and I hope that they stay here for many years to come.

Great selection of men’s clothing. Southern Tide is really hard to find in Louisville — Von Maur carries their product! The gift wrapping is also great and prompt! Employees are also very friendly!

I probably buy 90 percent of my clothes at Von Maur as it’s the best place in town for deals and service. I am especially fond of the service provide by James and Maurice in mens and everyone in the shoe department. Five stars!

One of the few places where you can shop to uplifting live music. They often have a pianist for your shopping pleasure. I like the shoe brands they carry. Quality and good style.

We bought couple suits for my son on 10/9/22 and had to return one of them on 10/23. We forgot our receipt and tried to use our credit card to return suit but for some reason there system was not reading our credit card. Manager Lisa and Cashier Anita went beyond to help us out and saved our 40 minutes trip. Thank you for your all patience and outstanding customer experience.

I was in the store today and was looking for shoes for my granddaughter the 2 sale associates Lily and Brenna went above and beyond to help me . Service like that doesn't seem to exist any longer they actually were working together and giving me their thoughts on different shoes . This is the quintessential department store. A classic location in louisville. Still having a piano player occasionally playing at the escalators in the middle of the store. I really enjoy the store as it has a great selection. Most of the items are high-end but it also has a good smattering of reasonably priced items as well. The men's cosmetics and shoes are on the first floor with women's on the second floor. Really great customer service always willing to help always willing to hold clothes while looking around. I think this is a great department store and I hope it sticks around in louisville. Update 2022 - still great. James went out of his way to find a for sale shirt that fit in the size and brand of the shirt I was buying

Beautiful store, nicely laid out. But definitely a high end store. Not many bargains.

I would like to highly praise a clerk in the purse department named Vineta. She not only managed a return for me, replaced it with another, but sent a very nice thank you note in a lovely gift box. I would like to commend her for her proficiency and manners! I hope her floor manager sees this. A plus!

Lovely experience in the Men’s Department while searching for a great holiday gift. Top-notch customer service. Absolutely love that Von Maur offers in-house minor tailoring for winter coats for around $15 which is affordable and convenient. Another “wow” factor is this winter 2021 season Von Maur is offering complementary gift wrapping. My wrapping service took just under an hour. Perfect for browsing the other shops while waiting for your notification text message. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful customer service overall and a very nice store. I took a star off just because the item I purchased was on "after Christmas sale" but when I returned home I got curious about the original price so when I peel back the price sticker (which was difficult, I had to be careful not to rip them), it was $2 cheaper originally. I mean, $2 is not much of a difference at all, and I probably wouldn't have noticed unless they had mentioned the sale (I had no idea this item was on "sale" beforehand and had gone to the store intending in purchasing full price). So just take their sale prices with a grain of salt and maybe look up what the original prices are online before seeing if it's actually discounted like they say LOL

Up-scale department store with a wide variety of clothing options for everyone. I had a nostalgic feeling upon entering the store. It felt like a classic department store with a homelike vibe. Bonus points to the lady playing a variety of selections on the piano. She played beautifully and her music fit perfectly with the atmosphere.
