This store is unbelievably disorganized! Whatever you look there's so much clutter. The staff is not very helpful either. Most of them are young with a "couldn't care less" attitude, and ALL of them look extremely annoyed. What's going on at this location??? Whoever is managing this store needs to step it up or step aside... It's a shame...

What is with this new fabric layout? It's so weird and doesn't make a bit of sense. Why is what people come in for the farthest away? I get the idea of "they will buy more if they have to work for it" but when you can't find what you want when you don't have the time to browse the entire store, you walk out. The management are rude and unprofessional and some of the employees aren't much better. I used to love this Joann's but now it just seems a shame that THIS is the only option to what HANCOCKS used to be. Well jokes on them because Michaels owns HANCOCKS now and I can go online for them

I used to like coming to this store but it's gone down hill over the last few months. Almost every time I've visited this store there has been a long line of 10-20 people waiting to be checked out with one cashier on duty. I have noticed workers walk past the long line and ignore it and there seems to be several staff working the floor which honestly shocks me considering the same items have been out of stock for months, so I'm not sure what they are stocking?? Seems this location is poorly managed. Anyway, I wish Joanns would learn something from hobby lobby about paging over head when additional staff is needed for cashiering. And please restock the empty shelves.

Went in to purchase two frames and other small crafting items. The lady in the frame area was so sweet and helpful and so was the lady helping me in fabrics. That's where the goodness ends. Besides the store being very cluttered, the person that checked us out was extremely rude and snotty. I had a coupon to use and when it didn't work she gave no explanation just looked at me with a blank stare. When I noticed the amount was not deducted from the total she started laughing at me for asking questions about why the coupon was not deducted. She then started making faces at me and laughing more as I continued asking her about the coupon. I had to finally walk away and get someone else to help me. I don't think I will be back to this location. I'd rather go to Michael's or Hobby Lobby next time.

This store has gone so far downhill!!! When I was there 2 days ago, it was atrociously messy and disorganized, not to mention the many empty shelves and hooks. I guess that is because the entire back of the store and many aisles are filled with boxes upon boxes of what I assume is unopened merchandise. The store was also filthy and looked like nothing has been cleaned in months, if not years. I hope they are able to turn things around soon.

The store is wonderful except for one thing-- I'm seriously going to report them to OSHA for the flickering/ strobing florescent lights over the registers. It's not okay to subject your cashiers to that all day. It has been going on for too long (years). Every time I'm in line for the register I start to feel sick due to the flickering/ strobe effect. Fix it.

I'm convinced this Joann's local is now a disguised entrance to purgatory, and all the employees are trapped there; tortured by how customers can enter the discomfort and leave, but they cannot. Their time under the many aggressively flickering lights makes them grow more sallow and sickly by the day and the empty shelves and stacks of unpacked product only emphasizes the hopelessness in the eyes of the few poor employees. The toilet is perpetually gross but not dirty enough to complain about and the organization system is often senseless. Like I said, purgatory.

The new “organization” of the fabric department, specifically apparel fabrics, is an absolute catastrophe. The folks who work in that department are so kind and helpful but obviously very frustrated with the rearrangement and reported that despite letting management know their concerns as well as those of many customers, management refuses to reverse it. No other stores have attempted the same rearrangement so I, along with my other sewist friends, will be taking our fabric shopping addiction elsewhere.

They never have enough people working so service is slow and haphazard. If they offered full time employment with a living wage and benefits I bet they could attract more employees and have some consistent service and cleanliness.

I love this place. That's not to say I haven't had issues. I unfortunately learned my lesson about buying fabric online here for in store pick up. I make veils professionally. So I ordered some extra wide tulle and I showed up and the bag felt light but I couldn't open it up and see properly in the car. When I got home it wasn't even close to fitting my pattern. So I went back and they had given me a partial order! You can't do that with fabric! Lol so that was a pain. An unfortunate pain, because that's the only guaranteed way to get 20 percent off your entire order every time. As for the store, I love this store. It's huge! They have everything from cheap to expensive and luxurious fabrics as well as a huge array of appliques and really anything you could possibly need to get crafting. I love their selection. One of my all time favorite stores.

Since I don't craft (well, aside from beer), I can only review this from the point of view of a husband who takes his sewing/knitting/quilting/embroidering wife to Joann when she's got a project in the works. This location is enormous and generally well stocked. Some times "well stocked" equates to "stuff in the aisles or crammed near an endcap", but it's with the goal of making as much product available and as easy to find as possible. Wifey is usually able to find what she needs (or a reasonable facsimile) at this store and it's not uncommon for us to spend several/many hours trying to find that fabric or crafty doo-dad that will make her craftery awesome. My lot in life in these cases is to provide some creative in put, help find the perfect fabric or accessory, and to push the cart. The staff here is 100% helpful. We've been here many times and it doesn't matter who you ask, they know where it is or what you need. Since she's on the Joann mailing list she's always got coupons on her phone for something or other. Quite often what she's looking for is on sale, so #BONUS. There are aisles in this store that I have never been down. Seriously. Picture framing? Buttons and Bobbins? Upholstery? Wood crafting? Yea, none of that's me. If you're a crafterer (I make up a lot of words), this place is 100% what you need.

This location is much easier to navigate and has a wider selection of available merchandise than the Outer Loop location. The lower rating, unfortunately, reflects the lower quality of service and general "I don't want to be here" attitude from most of the personnel.

I like the convenience of this store. Plenty of close parking. Friendly helpful people.

Found what I needed and took a quick & clean pitstop while there. They did not have Shoulder Pads or premade pockets but there was plenty of fabric and craft supplies. I like to browse online and get what I want on sale because often the local stores run out of sale items quickly. My receipt today said I saved $100. President's Day Sale.

Bad customer services especially in the fabric department. Store is definitely not meant for people of color. The lady suzane in the fabric department was definitely rude as well. My first experience sucked and this was my second time in the store because I had to make a return and it was worse than the first time. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this store or at least this location.

This is a great store that matches the best prices and selections of any of its competitors. With comic con and Ren Faire seasons coming up they’re a lifesaver and in particular Suzanne was very helpful today at the fabric counter.

I tried to return items that I purchased three days ago. I had the original receipt, but the manager said it could not go back on my debit card (original payment method) because their system doesn't allow it to go back on debit cards. I escalated with corporate and they are handling it from within, but beware of poorly informed management here.

Would not return. I was looking for a specialty thread and was not able to obtain any assistance. One young man who was stocking products told me to go find somebody else to help me. It was "not his job".

Poorly managed. I shopped here on a Tuesday at 1 pm. I saw only 2 employees, one cutting fabric and one at checkout, both seemed nice and efficient. But there were 6 or more people waiting to check out. I asked the staff if she couldn’t call someone else, she said “ I’ll try”, and didn’t call. This has been a common experience with this store. I stopped shopping on weekends here because the tiresome wait to checkout. The front entrance was also very dirty, could use a sweep and mop.

1st time there. It is amazing. I liked to never found it but it was worth the effort. I will definitely be back

Staff shortage is extreme. Long lines, no one knows anything. Fabric staff is good but the rest are marginal. Excuses are really lame. Blank stares. Deer in the headlights!

I miss the old days!! The fabric was of better quality & tighter weave and patterns weren't so expensive. However for decorations, costumes and crafts, you cannot find more variety of more ideas.

Overwhelmed by the choices spent 2 hours looking. Very happy with shopping there. Plan to go back frequently.

Every pattern I needed was in drawer with a jammed door that no one could get open. Its been like that for months. Im just going to give my money to Michaels.

Not my favorite Joann's location but I did arrive there during a holiday store planagram so I can update the review if I feel I changed my mind !

The only decent customer service can be found at the fabric counter. Young lady at front checkout was as rude as any I have encountered. Don't offer coupons if cashiers refuse to let you use them because they can't be bothered with such trivial things. I mean, Instagram is waiting for her to get back on her phone!

  • 4/5 Liz P. 2 years ago on Google
Great selection and good prices, but no one was at the cutting desk, so will have to go back another day to buy the fabric!

  • 3/5 Mary P. 2 years ago on Google
I like almost everything about this place, except the checkout lane. There is almost always one cashier and she takes her time, even when the line is 8 deep in customers. If you aren't cutting fabric, which also is always busy, you need to be ringing people up! No excuse!

The store was very crowded, but every single worker took it in stride & was so polite. I found everything I was looking for with ease. It wasn't a cluster, like I used to find at Hobby Lobby. I will be returning to Joann Fabric & Crafts from now on. Thanks everyone! Keep up the great work!

It’s easy to change your hours on the website. If you are going to close two hours early than please update your site. Driving to the store to see the time change on the door isn’t helpful. It’s 8:20 and the website says still open until 9.

Went to after Christmas sale. Bought 2 rolls of ribbon that ended up being not on sale. Wish the person checking me out had brought it to my attention since EVERYTHING ELSE was part of the 70% off sale and BOTH were shades of Christmas red @$7.99 a roll Ea.

They always have really good sales on home decor. I never used to shop there until I needed fabric for something last year and discovered there’s SO MUCH MORE!!! It’s not as overwhelming as hobby lobby and they also have a good selection of art supplies.
