I
have
been
a
Clark
patient
for
over
a
decade,
but
in
the
last
year
have
had
to
change
all
of
my
doctors
to
another
organization.
My
primary
doctor
at
Clark
was
great
for
years,
but
the
last
couple
of
years
became
more
concerned
on
how
fast
she
could
see
patients,
than
the
patients
themselves.
After
a
recent
trip
to
the
ER
with
my
father,
it
was
the
last
straw
for
me.
He
had
went
to
an
immediate
care
close
by
who
called
an
ambulance
to
come
take
him
to
Clark
due
to
his
erratic
heart
rate
and
being
too
weak
to
walk,
he
had
been
up
all
night
sick.
The
EMT's
took
him
to
Clark,
but
then
were
told
to
dump
him
in
the
waiting
room.
We
sat
there
for
3
hours
before
anyone
saw
him.
I
kept
inquiring
with
those
at
the
front
desk
when
I
saw
other
less
severe
cases
coming
in
and
being
seen
before
us.
There
was
no
rhyme
or
reason
that
I
could
determine
on
who
they
would
take
back.
There
were
people
in
the
waiting
room
vomiting
and
left
to
sit
there,
while
a
10
year
old
with
a
minor
cut
on
her
lip
was
seen
5
minutes
after
arriving.
After
4.5
hours,
my
father
was
taken
back
to
a
room,
the
doctor
said
he
thought
my
father
just
had
a
virus.
When
we
asked
questions,
he
said
he
hadn't
really
reviewed
the
xrays
and
would
come
back.
He
never
came
back.
The
staff
were
outside
in
the
hall,
laughing
and
carrying
on,
while
my
father
was
in
pain
with
no
diagnosis.
He
finally
opted
to
leave
after
9
hours
of
being
there
and
nothing
but
fluids
in
an
IV
had
been
done
and
they
were
not
making
any
attempt
to
do
anything.
The
following
day
we
took
him
to
Norton
Brownsboro
and
they
were
in
shock
that
he
had
not
been
treated.
He
had
to
have
emergency
surgery.
They
said
he
wouldn't
have
made
it
much
longer
had
we
not
have
brought
him
there.
He
was
seen
immediately
there
and
treated
like
a
person
the
entire
time.
They
could
not
believe
he
had
been
at
an
ER
for
all
those
hours
with
no
diagnosis
or
treatment.
Upon
following
up
with
some
of
his
doctors
after
his
surgery-some
who
are
with
Clark,
when
he
told
them
what
happened,
they
even
indicated
they
knew
the
state
of
the
ER
there.
The
ER
is
often
the
first
impression
some
folks
get
to
a
hospital.
Clark
needs
to
do
better,
but
for
me
and
my
family
we
are
not
willing
to
take
our
chances
there.
