If
I
could
leave
0
stars
I
absolutely
would.
This
was
the
worst
experience
in
any
medical
facility
I
have
ever
had.
I
was
very
anxious
about
going
to
the
emergency
room
with
COVID
right
now
but
I
had
an
excruciating
pain
in
my
left
side
that
was
making
it
difficult
to
breathe
so
I
didn’t
know
what
else
to
do.
When
I
arrived,
the
lady
at
the
desk
took
my
name
and
birthdate
and
gave
me
a
wrist
band.
One
by
one
I
saw
people
get
called
up
to
the
desk
to
be
“triaged”.
The
original
nurse
seemed
extremely
polite
and
thorough.
She
left
before
I
was
called
up
and
the
nurse
that
took
over
was
careless
and
rude.
She
asked
me
what
was
hurting
and
that’s
all.
She
did
not
ask
any
COVID
screening
questions,
current
medications,
or
family
medical
history
(which
I
figured
they’d
want
to
know
to
rule
out
any
possible
underlying
conditions).
Beyond
that
I
didn’t
see
one
person
cleaning,
not
even
wiping
down
the
triage
chair
in
between
patients.
I
was
finally
brought
back
to
a
room
where
I
was
quickly
greeted
by
the
nurse
practitioner
who
spent
less
than
1
minute
speaking
to
me,
touched
my
side
barely,
and
dismissed
any
concerns
I
expressed
to
her.
She
had
me
in
tears
with
how
rude
and
dismissive
she
was.
I
expressed
my
concerns
about
possible
COVID
complications
and
stated
that
I’ve
had
a
lot
of
exposures
recently
since
I
am
also
a
hospital
employee.
She
chuckled
and
said
“we
all
have”.
She
said
they
were
going
to
do
an
X-ray
to
check
my
lungs,
and
give
me
prescriptions
and
“send
me
on
my
way”.
The
nurse
then
came
to
draw
my
blood
and
had
to
stick
me
at
least
4
times
before
successfully
being
able
to
get
enough
blood.
She
kept
saying
I
have
to
be
dehydrated
and
I
kept
telling
her
I
drink
over
a
gallon
per
day,
and
I
drink
nothing
but
water.
While
the
nurse
was
in
there
she
was
talking
to
be
about
why
I
was
upset
and
she
also
began
to
dismiss
my
feelings
and
concerns.
The
nurse
said
“here
we
basically
just
put
band
aids
on
even
really
serious
cases,
we
don’t
do
that
kind
of
digging
to
figure
stuff
out”.
At
this
point
I
was
done,
done
trying
to
voice
my
concerns,
and
done
trying
to
get
them
to
hear
me
and
to
help
me.
They
kept
saying
I
should
contact
my
employee
health
and
go
get
covid
tested?
But
they
could
have
tested
me
and
refused
to
do
it.
They
told
my
mom
that
they
have
criteria
that
had
to
be
met
to
do
a
COVID
test
but
they
never
screened
me
to
begin
with.
Little
did
they
know
I’ve
had
several
symptoms
over
the
last
couple
of
days.
I
had
heard
such
great
things
about
this
hospital
and
as
a
UofL
Health
employee,
I
figured
I
would
be
in
good
hands
but
this
was
honestly
a
traumatic
experience
and
I
was
extremely
disappointed.
