I
really
do
love
this
hospital,
but
only
as
long
as
you
aren't
in
the
ER.
I
had
to
go
twice
last
year,
once
for
my
daughter
who
needed
20
stitches,
they
made
us
wait
in
a
line
in
the
ER
with
a
severe
laceration
on
her
hand,
that
could
have
affected
her
veins,
it
was
badly
bleeding
and
if
it
had
cut
into
her
vein
it
could
have
killed
her,
so
I
went
outside
and
while
STILL
on
the
property,
had
to
resort
into
calling
an
ambulance
so
she
would
be
seen
immediately,
on
top
of
that,
the
pediatric
nurse
that
did
her
stitches
did
a
great
job
but
was
very
unpleasant,
my
daughter
was
terrified
and
the
pediatric
nurse
not
only
acted
annoyed
that
she
was
scared
but
literally
accused
my
daughter
of
wasting
time
she
could
be
spending
with
other
children
because
her
being
scared
was
making
it
take
longer
to
do
the
stitches....
Not
to
mention
they
didn't
even
numb
her
hand,
they
just
put
"numbing
cream"
(which
clearly
didn't
work).
I
asked
them
to
sedate
her,
and
they
said
"no,
some
kids
don't
take
well
to
it
and
get
angry".
Finally
with
3
excruciating
stitches
left
to
go,
they
finally
took
my
advice
to
sedate
her,
she
calmed
down
and
it
went
much
better.
I
mean
your
job
is
dealing
with
children
surely
this
can't
be
the
first
time
someone
was
scared
to
get
multiple
stitches.
2nd
time
was
for
myself,
I
had
been
to
the
doctor
for
my
yearly
checkup
and
wasn't
feeling
well
and
when
they
drew
by
blood
they
told
me
my
electrolytes
were
critically
low
and
to
go
straight
to
the
ER,
so
I
went
and
was
hooked
up
to
an
IV
with
potassium.
The
ER
nurse
completely
missed
my
vein
and
the
potassium
was
to
shooting
straight
into
my
arm....
It
was
beyond
painful,
I
was
almost
screaming
it
hurt
so
bad
and
I'm
in
my
30s.
They
literally
ignored
me
for
an
hour
when
I
kept
telling
nurses
that
passed
by
something
was
very
wrong,
I
never
saw
the
nurse
who
stuck
me
again.
After
the
full
potassium
bag
was
empty,
none
of
which
went
into
my
vein,
someone
finally
came
in
and
was
getting
an
attitude
with
me
because
I
was
so
angry
and
uncomfortable,
once
she
found
out
what
had
happened
everyone
started
apologizing.
It
messed
my
arm
up
so
bad
the
whole
week
I
was
in
the
hospital
they
had
to
repeatedly
keep
drawing
my
blood
and
they
couldn't
use
that
arm
at
all
anymore.
I
could
have
made
a
bigger
deal
about
this
but
I
do
love
the
hospital,
when
you're
actually
admitted
the
staff
is
great.
Just
wanted
to
make
sure
people
stay
aware
in
the
ER.
