Had the best experience getting a tour from owner Brook and taking a lesson with Adam! 10/10 would return for more lessons and to buy gifts whenever I am back in town. Really beautiful glass pieces for sale. And super enjoyed the lesson on how to make a glass orb or paperweight! It was easy, safe and fun.

We had a really nice time on a rainy day with our family here at Flame Run. We got to pick the style, color and design of what we wanted made. This place offers great customer service and they were very imformative. We got to get up close to be able to see how they were forming our piece. Because of Covid we couldn't actually blow the glass, but still were able to be up close. Once the piece cooled down, we picked it up the next day ( they can also ship, if needed). Overall it was a great experience.

My family worked with Steven to create 4 unique pieces. He was helpful, patient, knowledgeable and worked hard to educate us as he created beautiful items. Loved every second of it and look forward to going back!

Very cool place to visit. We came at the wrong time to see people working with glass, but it was fun looking through what they had for sale. Some really beautiful things.

If you choose to create a paper weight, you get to twist and turn the glass. The glass blowers were very friendly, and they explained each step of the process. You see everything up close (not too close - the liquid glass is a couple thousand degrees). You are allowed to take pictures and videos. Me and my friends had a great time! Highly recommend!!

I was surprised with a trip to this studio. It was a wonderful experience. We made galaxy orbs with Adam. He walked us step by step through the process and we got a little hands on when we mixed the colors! I would highly recommend a trip here for something different to do!

The last time my bf and I came here we had a great experience and instructor who gave us tips on how to make a great piece. This time we were barely helped and our piece is warped and just awful! I am so upset that we paid over $70 for this and it looks how it does due to the employee rushing and not being attentive to guests. Our piece is already scratched up upon arrival and looks nothing like it should!! Update: I was reached out to by the actual facility we went to and was taken care of by the owner! We loved this place so it was really disappointing not getting the quality we expected. Thank you to everyone for making things right! We will be back soon ❤️

So many reasons why this place is awesome. Set up everything with Tiffany and she showed me samples of everything to get an idea. After some wild ideas I had, she helped me tone it down to understand the properties of what the glass can and cannot do. John Stokes worked with me on Spirit Pieces for one of my dogs. He was so respectful, knowledgable and just all around awesome. Because of the hot shop they work in, the shop walls are open. He put a cover over the ashes so the wind wouldn't blow them away. I didn't think about that at the time but just that small touch was thought out in a away that I didn't-- in grief. I got two hearts done. He worked with me from start to finish and let me in on the creative process. Each heart is completely different which attests to both his technique as well as what the glass just "does" in the fire. Just go with it and it becomes more awesome. I was able to choose colors etc. and he was nice enough to tell me what colors look like after. Meaning in the jar vs in the fire. I appreciated that because once it goes in the fire it's too late. You really dont know what the fire will do. You just trust. And let crafter do what they know how to do. That's the beauty of it. Several days later once cooled the piece actually comes out better than what you first see. All around they're just cool peeps! Rave, rave, rave!!! I'll be back! Just go!

By far, one of the coolest places I've been in Louisville! Highly recommend it if glass blowing interests you or if you want to find a one of a kind gift!

I had a create your own stemless wine glass experience and they turned out just breathtaking. You are right on the floor of the hot shop, and can see every step of your creation, as well as ask lots of questions. This is definitely a one of a kind experience, and, if you know of someone who's hard to shop for, a gift certificate for this experience would be a fabulous choice.

Going to Flame run and getting to accomplish a life long dream of mine has been such a blessing. I've taken 2 classes here. The first time was around the holidays and the second was last week. I had an awesome experience both times! The first time I was able to make a glass galaxy globe. The second visit I was taught how to blow glass and I made an ornament as well as a bowl! I had an amazing time and plan to come back again!!

When I went there to book the "make your own glass" experience, they unfortunately didn't offer any tours that time since they were very busy with a big order for bourbon glasses. But I was invited to the workshop and could stay and watch them work as long as I wanted. They were all super kind, I asked many questions and took so many pics! I'll be definitely back to do the experience next time I'm in Louisville!

Our family suffered a great loss. We were at a loss for how to memorialize our dear loved one. The experience also helped all of us seek closure.

My husband and I made a reservation to have a snowman and whiskey glass made. We loved that we got to pick the colors out and watch up close every step of it being made. The whole staff at Flame Run was kind and welcoming. Such a neat experience for those in the Louisville area with very reasonable pricing. Their showroom is also phenomenal!!

What a great experience. We did the blow your own glass experience and it was a lot of fun. If you get the chance you should. And the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I scheduled an event for my club members that was scheduled to take place the second week in December. I scheduled this event the first week in November. I was never advised at that time that Flame Run limits the selection of items that customers can make, only to Christmas seasonal ornaments. When I arrived with my club members, we were advised of this at that time. None of the people within my party came to make Christmas ornaments. They signed up to make one of the other items included in the vast selection offered by Flame Run. We ended up leaving, not making anything. Their lack of communication is disappointing. I will not organize another event here. However, I did discover Payton Glass, in the same building, which actually allows you to truly make your own glass item. I will schedule my follow up event with them instead.

Fun experience, but result was what the glass blowers wanted, not what I wanted. The person taking the order understood I wanted a tall drinking glass, he explained to the blowers, I confirmed with the blowers both before and during the experience and they still created a vase that is too big around to ever use as a glass. I don’t have small hands and I can’t even reach 1/2 around it! The highest price for any experience item plus tipping before the experience, which seems strange to ask for at that time, meant $120 for something I’ll never use. Not the thousands of dollars like other pieces they create, but frustrating that everyone said “sure, no problem” and they did what they wanted. Just be prepared that you get what they want! Or go with the paperweight and save your money.

We had an awesome time creating our own unique glass art pieces. The staff are very friendly and I can’t wait to go back and have more fun with them.

2nd time I've been, working with the artist is great in selecting colors and possible techniques to get desired effect, they walk you thru the process and let you get up close to the furnaces and blowing equipment and getting plenty of pictures. I have a nice candy dish and whiskey rocks glass. If you want hands on with the glass, you can make your own paper weight.

Lovely glass pieces and even lovelier people at Flame Run. We had the absolute best experience working with Tiffany, John S., And John C. on having spirit glass made. We appreciated how involved we could be in the process and how invested everyone was in making this the perfect piece for us. Love this place and these people.

Very beautiful glass pieces. And they have an area where you can view the workshop to see pieces being created.

I absolutely love this studio. The staff is amazing and so friendly and knowledgeable. I took my 5 year old this season to watch/make an ornament and he had a blast. They are all very safe wearing masks and distancing while taking you into the studio and walking you through step by step as they make your special ornament. They also have some amazing pieces for sale at all price points. I highly recommend.

Got the glass blowing lesson! Never done any glass crafting before and it was so exciting to do this!!! The instructor, Adam was great at explaining and demonstrating while making sure I was keeping safe. Really appreciated how much he made sure I left with a really nice souvenir of the experience. I’m so delighted on how the cup turned out! Can’t wait to do this again sometime!!!!
