Great Old Louisville Victorian mansion walking tour and extremely knowledgeable guide, Leslie, from oldlouisville.org. Beautiful, historic, quiet, tree-lined neighborhood. Definitely worth checking out.

Rude staff Had a group of 7 people booked but left happily with only 2. What's more they passed by me running into their building. The guide even siad hello to me but haven't really thought that I was running towards their office because I was 2 mins left for the tour. There is no other building inside the park to rush into. I was at the doors 3mins after the scheduled time together with a few other people. Really hard to find - i was taking a taxi and the driver left me at the address from their page that is bringing you still 2mins walking from the place. I was calling sevetal times prior to the tour to let them know i will be few mins late No one was picking up.

A late 19th century gem in the heart of downtown Louisville. The site of the first display of electric light by Thomas Edison. And home to some of the best preserved treasures in Louisville.

Not the most famous Louisville tour guide, but rather two energetic young women (Lilly and Erica) who braved the (sometimes pouring!) rain to tell us about this lovely and very historic area. They told us many stories about the people, not only the men but also about the women, who helped shape this architecturally beautiful neighborhood. It's right in Central Park, next to the police station - you must park on the street, not in the station. Due to a scheduling snafu our husbands couldn't make it at the last minute, and they happily refunded their tickets on the spot. When we were running late and my phone died, one of the guides even ran us into town to catch our bourbon tour. Best deal and excellent tour, guides went above and beyond!

Take a walk through historic Old Louisville streets. Great houses, gardens, parks, fountains, etc. Street parking, no crowds. Try lunch at The Old Louisville Tavern

I had the best experience there today. I learned about so many wonderful events that take place in our area. This is my second year in this area and i cannot imagine living any place else. Not to mention that while walking in central park I met some very hospitable people and pets along the way. I love the diverse neighborhood that we have. I am very proud to be a resident of Old Louisville.

One of the finest places in Louisville to go to andlive. There's a lot of old buildings from the 1800s there is a lot of decent people that live in the neighborhoods and it's the first place I live when I first moved here

👍👍 The belle of Louisville is a marvelous place. Not only is it a good place to learn a little about the Ohio river and the rest of the history of the city, but the boat is beautiful and their gift shop has plenty of things in it that are priced fairly for memories and fun.
