Great place to stay. Service was super nice, breakfast was great (although I do like the waffle makers and wish they had one), heated indoor pool was great (could have been a TAD bit warmer, but good once we got in), and very clean. While there, they started having cook to order breakfast. Some days pancakes and others made to order omelets. One of the girls said they were getting one of those do it yourself waffle makers too (which I love). The staff kept the breakfast area stocked and clean and were very friendly. The bar tender (that was there every night we were there and training a new bar tender the last night of the 7) was nice and friendly and had good pours on the drinks. We opted to not have room service since we had our dog with us (very pet friendly place), but the housekeeping in the hall was pleasant and exchanged towels and such for us. I would definitely stay here again. The front desk staff was also very friendly and greeted us each time we arrived or left.

Really nice hotel rooms. My oldest brother plays hockey and his team seemed to enjoy the hotel. The parents were pleased with the bars service. The pool was really nice came with swim thing for little kids and also had pool noodles to float on. Also a pet friendly hotel what is nice for people that need to bring their pets. Overall a great hotel.

Very nice property and super clean… Staff was extremely helpful. We rented a couple of rooms and the meeting room. Could not have asked for a more accommodating group of folks to work with! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

While typically I enjoy staying at Hyatt House locations, the cleanliness of my room left a little to be desired. There was debris left on the carpet between the nightstands and the bed, as well as in the corners of the room. There was a coffee cup ring left on one of the surfaces, implying that it was not wiped down, and the shower doors continued to roll open unless I held them shut while I was showering because they were not level. While this may be an issue specific to my room, the lack of thorough cleaning suggests an overall trend. That said, the front desk people were remarkably helpful, [as always with Hyatt], The room was generally quiet, the bed comfortable, and the room priced relative to hotels in the area. All in all, a pleasant stay, though left feeling somewhat uncomfortable with the cleanliness of my room.

This is perhaps the best hotel I stayed at outside of Las Vegas (fancy 5 star ones). Everything about this hotel is amazing. Super comfy bed and sheets, amazing shower pressure (probably the highest in America ), and the free breakfast buffet that's top notch. I've stayed at this place for at least 3 times, it never fails to satisfy. I will be back I'm sure whenever I'm in the area, please keep it up!

The measure most use to assess an experience is how that experience felt and transpired on the surface. Another, I believe more significant, measure is when the inevitable mistake happens - an employee has a bad day, a process breaks down, a piece of equipment malfunctions - THEN, how does the management, staff, and organization handle it? In this case, VERY, very well, and I commend them for that. I had a chance to stay there two separate times a week apart. The first one was not great - clearly housekeeping had a breakdown on that room. I informed management in my survey and told them I'd be back. I received an instant apology and assurances that this was not the experience they strove for nor the norm. "We'll see" I thought. That proved to be true. The next time through everything was flawless - the checkin and out, the cleaning, the amenities, the breakfast, the staff - first class and above advertised. Stay here. If you happen to find something you don't like, inform management and watch them fix it fast and well. I'll be back any time I'm in Louisville. Well done, Mr. Sturgeon!

I am not sure how this hotel has a score this high! There's no way these are real reviews. The person at the check in didn't greet us, didn't tell us about breakfast or really tell us any useful hotel info. The first hotel room wasn't clean. A pair of women's shorts was wedged between a sofa and a wall. Pulled sheets back to find a stained mattress cover and crumbs in the bed. Pillows didn't have pillow covers. The blinds wouldn't go up or down. Dust all over the vent and ceiling. Went down and asked for a different room. The next room was ok at best. Towels and bedding are cheap. Walls are thin. I'm giving two stars for the location and breakfast because the rest deserves no stars! Edited to respond to management's response. Yes it is your hotel, in fact I left pretty much the same comments when I received an email from your corporate. I did not book the room under my name. I am now 💯 sure your positive reviews are not to be believed. But others can find out for themselves. I won't be back.

This got to be one of the cleanest, spacious hotel rooms that I've stayed in. Really quiet location as well. Hotel looks brand new and they also got a nice bar in the lobby. Will definitely come back.

It was an excellent experience staying in Hyatt House Louisville. Everything is clean. The workout room is nice. The breakfast has a lot of choices and is delicious. Also when we had breakfast, all the staff would say good morning to us.

Check in was easy. It is a beautiful hotel and the staff it’s super friendly. Our room was fabulous, but…Jeremy who was great, I had to expressed to him how things were not very clean in our room. Like the island, the mirrors, the outside of the microwave and fridge had a lot of fingerprints and marks on them. Also, the windows need to be cleaned. CHERI at breakfast time was amazing. They do boast about breakfast, they have an award-winning breakfast. It was really nice and the whole lounge eating area is fabulous. Shower was great and so is the bed. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Absolutely loved staying at this hotel this week for a work trip. The rooms were nice and cleaned regularly. The staff is what sets them apart. Craig the bartender was fantastic, even when he was busy as heck he kept a smile and made great conversation. Kim who helped serve in the bar was so sweet, just loved her. The service in the morning from Melissa and Cheri(?) was top notch. Kind, genuine, LEGENDARY.

I was surprising my oldest son with a visit and celebrating my birthday this past weekend when I decided to book the Hyatt House location. This particular location was near the airport and close to my son’s home which was a win win for me. I took the red-eye from South Florida to arrive terribly late at the hotel but check-in was a breeze and I was greeted at 1:00am with a warm welcoming smile. The room was well stocked, clean, and spacious. The food at the hotel left me no need to search for restaurants. To ALL of the team members at the Hyatt House Louisville East - thank you for a warm, welcoming, super clean, quiet, safe environment! This modern hotel is well maintained; so stay with them and experience your home away from home.

We stayed here while visiting to look at real estate (for relocation) and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We loved that we could bring our fur baby. The field across the street was perfect for him to run off some energy. I work remote and the desk was big enough for me to have two monitors and still spread out.

Hotel was perfect for our soccer team. Rooms were nice and clean. I do wish it had a larger fridge but was impressed to see an actual dishwasher and disposal. The pool could use more towels but perfect size space. The bar was great and the breakfast was amazing. Thanks for having us!

Fabulous once again. Bed was a bit soft, but still slept okay. Breakfast was top notch and the coffee was actually good. ❤️Hotel coffee is not usually drinkable in my opinion.

I stayed at this hotel last October for 2 weeks due to having mold in my apartment. The staff here really stepped up and delivered a wonderful stay while I was going through a stressful time. I stayed in a king bed style suite with a kitchen area and living room. It was so nice and very comfortable. The bed and pillows alone are why I would 10/10 this place. The breakfast included in the morning was so good too. I was able to take it to go with me to work. Thank you Hyatt House for being there and providing such a lovely stay. I will always send people your way.

This was the BEST hotel I’ve stayed at for years! Not exaggerating in the least. Staff was super friendly, checking in was seamless and they even had handouts for places to eat, visit and even places that deliver. The entire hotel is clean and especially the room. The shower, oh my gosh, the shower…it was so relaxing and had ACTUAL water pressure that felt like a massage all over your tired sore muscles. There is not one thing I would have changed about my stay except to stay longer and not just be here on business. The shampoo and conditioner provided smelt amazing as well which was great since I forgot mine!! Don’t even think twice about this stay, just book it. You will not regret this I promise! I’m already planning my next trip to Kentucky just so I can bring my family to this hotel.

Lovely experience staying here for 4 days. We were in town for work, and having a king studio suite to relax in was nice. Pros: The bed was a perfect balance of supportive and soft, extra blankets provided in room if needed. Blackout curtains were incredible. 5th floor location was almost impossibly quiet— all in all a great place to sleep. Easily some of the best rest I’ve gotten in a hotel. Breakfast was hot and simple while catering to a variety of tastes. A solid start to each morning. Wifi was excellent, and reliable. Staff were helpful and friendly! 12pm standard checkout time. Cons: There were items from a previous guest in the fridge of our room on arrival and a few sticky places on the kitchen floor. However, everything else looked really clean. Overall, would pick Hyatt House East next time we’re in Louisville!

Accommodations were as expected. Bathroom was contained. Water pressure was very strong. Kenet MD toiletries provided. Free parking. Breakfast provided, but no waffle makers. They do have an omelet station. Bar with appetizers in the evenings. Limited AC control.

We are heading to Smoky Mountain national park and stop by Louisville for one night here. Surprisingly fantastic stay!! The hotel is like a brand new and modern decorated apartment. Room is large and clean, people are super nice, delicious breakfast, perfect shower pressure… everything is so good. Cannot recommend more this place and we always choose here again whenever go to Louisville! Also we have two large dogs and the hotel is super dog friendly! The community is perfectly quite and safe for walking dog too!!

Stayed for 3 nights for a family wedding, got to see all types of rooms they offer - all nice. The breakfast was above average and the internet was strong enough for remote work and zoom calls.

The room was spacious and quiet, the location was perfect for our needs. I would have ranked the service lower were ir not for one individual who stood out. I always had to wait for someone at the front desk and when attempting to check out, after 15 minutes of waiting, I left. The people before us said they called and the front desk folks said, "oh the battery to the bell must be out."They checked out before us. If you think the battery is out, you change it, remove the sign or just stay at your job

Everything about this hotel was perfect! The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was great! We also enjoyed the bar! The bar had a great selection and offered 3 special drinks that were all wonderful! The only downside was that we asked for housekeeping every day, we never got housekeeping. After the first day without housekeeping I clarified with the desk and they added me to the list for day 2. Day two rolls around and no housekeeping. Same thing, I asked for housekeeping again for day 3. Alas, no housekeeping on day three. We were leaving the next morning so I didn’t even bother asking again. This was very disappointing especially as a Hyatt Globalist member.

Looks new, clean & in a nice area. Didn’t try breakfast since we left around 6.30am for some volleyball tournament & back late afternoon. Bed was comfortable, room was clean & spacious enough.

The breakfast was great every morning and the room was bigger than expected. Love the kitchen option even though we didn't use it much. We had a bit of an issue because the cleaning team missed our room, but the front desk was very apologetic and worked to get it corrected. Great team and the location was perfect for what we wanted to do. Short drive to downtown and plenty of restaurants nearby. They were cooking down at the bar on Thanksgiving night which was a huge plus.

This hotel is wonderful. Check in was a breeze. Room was clean and shower water pressure is amazing. Nice breakfast with made to order pancakes by the nicest staff. I would definitely stay here again.

So very clean and beautiful. Taylor was the amazing person working the front desk when I called from another local hotel that was awful. She found a room and then just continued to go above and beyond to help us feel welcome and at home here in Louisville. We travel here often. This is our new home away from home.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel!! It deserves WAY more than a 2 star rating! We stayed for 5 nights over Thanksgiving, and it was incredible! The staff was amazing! Every single person we interacted with starting with check-in all the way to check-out were wonderful! The room (we rented a studio) was immaculate, the price for the week was super affordable, we have absolutely 0 complaints. We go to Kentucky at least once a year and stay for a week, this will be the only hotel from now on! If I could give 100 stars I would! Great job y'all!!

I'm typically a Marriott guy, but I'm so annoyed by all the brands they have and inconsistent quality of their intermediate-level hotels. Plus, they've devalued their points so much that loyaly gets you very little. I stayed in 3 different Hyatt House and Hyatt Place hotels over the course of 2 weeks and it was a breath of fresh air. I had the same experience in all 3 hotels. The design of their hotels are modern yet warm. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. Rooms were spacious. Customer service was great. The hotels were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very good. The selection was somewhat limited compare to some others I've had had, but the quality was high for the items they did have. I had scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon, sausage, and toast. They also had yogurt, juices, fruits, assorted breads, pastries and oatmeal. They use real plates which really gave breakfast a classy feel. The staff serving breakfast were also very courteous. This particular hotel seemed pretty new and was in an upscale areas. They was nearby shopping with higher end stores and I saw two high end steak houses. Overall, I was very impressed. The price was very reasonable for what you got. The points I earned are also much more valuable toward earning free nights. I am strongly considering switching to Hyatt as my primary option for hotels. I just wish they had more locations, but I think that's slowly improving. My advice to Hyatt, keep doing what you are doing and don't follow in the footsteps of Marriott and Hilton in putting profits over customers. You'll win over a lot more customers from those brands who are fed up like me. For my fellow travellers, give Hyatt a try. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Very nice room with a little kitchenette. I do wish they would have come in and cleaned up a little bit during the 3 days I was there.. I could have used some new towels and a quick vacuum but otherwise nice to have a fridge and a stove and whatnot..

  • 1/5 Bernard R. 1 year ago on Google
Newer hotel and rooms were clean, but the Air Conditioning in my room was connected to a motion sensor that turns off when the room is not occupied. My air conditioning with turn off repeatedly throughout the night leaving me sweating. Asked the front desk and they told me nothing can be done or they could bring me a box fan. In my opinion this is unacceptable for a Hyatt hotel.

  • 4/5 Will J. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice hotel despite the hideous paint job. Several good restaurants within walking distance. I only gave the service three stars because they had an electric car charger on site, but no one could tell me how to access it and it would not work with just my Charge Point card. Since an electric car charger is something I do look for in a hotel, this was very disappointing. The hotel was exceedingly clean with a nice breakfast.

Staff is super nice, but this room was not cleaned. I saw something that looked like honey on the night stand. Cleaned it up and it went down hill from there. Went to wipe.down the fridge so i could store my food in there and there was a wonton or something stuck and frozen to the back of it. Took out the shelves to clean them, then saw what looked like someone spilled coffee on the hard flooring and it dried. Went down to the lobby to get spray cleaner from the front desk. Get up to the room, it doesn't spray. I ended up using one of the washclothes in the room to clean the floors, shower, shelves, fridge.... it's a mess. I just drove 13 hours to this. I cleaned my home before i left and now i get to clean the room i just paid for here. Im very disappointed in the condition of the room. Im going to see if they can move me. But now im concerned that they are just going to put me in another dirty room here. I attached the photos. Im going to have to buy more cleaning suppliea tomorrow and lysol spray. This is just gross and unsanitary.

Really appreciated the quality and the size of the room and the care the management has for their customers. This is how it's done! Great service, clean, spacious and updated rooms, just a little bit more selection at breakfast than you usually get. The service was great and the location was good. Terrific value for the price, too!

Very clean hotel with large rooms and comfortable beds. This hotel is conveniently located in the residential neighborhood and near plenty of restaurants and strip malls. It’s just few miles from the expressway. Has large free parking. Hotel offers complementary breakfast each morning in a very nice dinning area. This hotel also has a good size bar with full liquor

Such a great place to stay. Grabbed a bite at the bar to take to the room. Hamburger was good and big side salad was fresh. Nice to not have to go out anywhere since it was 9:30 pm. The room: mini refrig with a separate small freezer, perfect size to put our freezer packs. Generously sized room that had an area as you go into the bathroom you can set a suitcase and has two drawers underneath. The shower - products in pumps were great and the water pressure was powerful/wonderful. High marks alone for that! The breakfast was the best I’ve had at a hotel that included breakfast!! Blueberry and plain pancakes that were excellent, bacon, maple sausage links, good scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, and asst of breads. There was fruit but I headed for the hot stuff. The hot food was great! No runny scrambled eggs here, No undercooked scrawny bacon here, No weak gravy here! It all was very good! The staff working the breakfast was great too. They were friendly and kept busy staying on top of the Saturday morning crowd. I think breakfast is a big deal and this hotel does an amazing job. Highly recommend Hyatt House Louisville/St. Matthews.

The entire staff was warm and welcoming! Stayed there for 3 weeks! The bartenders Monty, Craig, and I think her name was Linda were all phenomenal. Great hot breakfast to get your mornings started! Couldn't have been happier with my stay!

The best ever hotel in the US. The room configuration and design are very modern and do know what customers want. Even though it’s only two-star, it is even better than some old-school 4-star hotels, which only put money on the outside but very poor in their room. This hotel puts money in it’s rooms!

Despite a couple minor issues, I would like to express my appreciation for the manager Cris and Jeremy from the management team. Cris went above and beyond by upgrading us to a fantastic suite, which we thoroughly enjoyed. His professionalism and kindness greatly improved our overall experience. Jeremy was also pleasant and accommodating as well. Breakfast was delicious as well! Overall, we had a great experience - would definitely recommend!
