Wonderful restaurant on top of the Galt House in downtown Louisville. My wife had pan seared scallops (Oscar style with crab meat). She says they are the best she’s had north of Florida. I had the cedar plank salmon, which was perfect. The veggie sides were also delicious. The chocolate blackout cake was big enough to feed 3 or 4 and was fabulous! We were lucky to sit in a rotating section with nice views. I recommend getting there by 6:30 pm n weekends if you want the rotating experience. Our server, Brittany, also gets 5 stars for her friendly and prompt service. We will definitely go back again. (Dress code is causal, but most people were nicely dressed so I would call it “upscale” casual.)

I really loved this place. Everything from the panoramic penthouse views of the Ohio River to the chocolate cake was stellar! Service was excellent, and everyone was friendly. The food was delicious and the cocktails were fantastic. Definitely a great experience!

Lobster bisque had large chunks of lobster and the filet was cooked to perfection. The cheese ravioli was a bit heavy, so I was not able to finish much of it. Prices were on the higher end, but you are paying for the experience and view.

I was planning a retirement party for my wife and we originally tried to book through Open Table but it would only let you set reservations for six or less. I called Swizzle and the girl I spoke with was very accommodating and said since it was a Tuesday night and it was slow on reservations, she would go ahead and set the reservation for eight. Our friends met us there and we were pleasantly surprised that we were seated in a private area with a spectacular view. Brittany was our waitress and she was best in class. She explained the drink menu and dinner menu and service was great the entire night. Drinks and dinner were both phenomenal. Brittany also made sure that it was all about my wife. She made it a very special night. When we go back, we will definitely request to have her as our server.

I recently visited the Swizzle Dinner & Drinks and I must say it was the perfect spot for a fancy dinner and drinks. The setting was simply breathtaking with stunning views of Louisville from the rooftop. The first thing I noticed was the elegant decor which perfectly complemented the views. I was greeted warmly by the staff who showed us to our table and provided menu recommendations. Speaking of the menu the selection was top-notch. There were plenty of options from seafood dishes to vegetarian options all made with fresh high-quality ingredients. We decided to try a few different dishes and share them which was made even more enjoyable by the attentive and friendly service of the staff. Each dish was presented beautifully and tasted even better than it looked. The cocktails were equally impressive with creative and delicious combinations that were perfect for sipping while taking in the views. Of course the highlight was the ambiance. The rooftop restaurant provided a relaxing and sophisticated atmosphere with dim lighting and soft music. Coupled with the lovely breeze and impressive views it was the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. Overall I highly recommend Swizzle Dinner & Drinks for anyone looking for a memorable upscale dining experience. The service food ambiance and views were truly outstanding and made for an unforgettable evening.

*Server Daniel ignored us* •Valet was $10. Very nice people! • on top 25th floor of the Galt House, the room spins to get different views We are big on leaving HONEST reviews, especially when a good one as they can help an establishment! Unfortunately— for our 10 yr anniversary (which we told the server) the reservation process was smooth. We were seated on a Tuesday evening in January very quickly upon arrival. Was seated then 10min later bread & water was offered. The hostess was very friendly & gave us recommendations. Ordered cocktails, they came out after 15min & were good! Ordered entrees and came out ~25 min later. Servers name was DANIEL— he went to tables in front of us and behind us and completely ignored us. My husbands steak was supposed to be (Med-Well) came out UNDER Medium. He only ate maybe 3/4. Too tough, cold, and again… under cooked!! No sauce. I ordered the burger with fries — came out under cooked. & fries were cold as if they’d been sitting under a heat lamp too long. The bacon was greasy, and taste like rubber! Definitely wasn’t crispy!! Lots of fat. Had to ask AGAIN for ketchup from the gentleman that brings water & bread. This took 15 mins. Server came and said, “You got the whole coarse of ketchup, mustard, and Mayo.” Considering I asked for that during ordering………. We didn’t even eat half of our meal. A complete waste of $200. So disappointing as it was our anniversary. The best part of the experience was the view, bread, and drinks! Our server could tell we didn’t eat much— (as he asked if we wanted boxes- once he finally came back to our table) I explained how neither of our meals were delivered as expected. He didn’t offer ANY type of “make this right.” He was more worried about serving drinks to other tables, with bigger parties. Speaking of drinks— my husband was planning on getting another- sever never once asked! Unfortunately… this was a first & last for us! Btw- the Galt House is INFESTED with Bed Bugs for those booking under a business trip. Find somewhere else to stay! Google if you need confirmation. Very disappointed. We left there hungry. Upset. And didn’t even feel comfortable ordering anniversary dessert! I would be open to changing this review if reached out to & can guarantee a better experience!!!!

Really cool rotating room dining experience. The food was very good - my filet was perfectly cooked and very tender! Our waitress Elizabeth was awesome and helped us with our Louisville pronunciation 😉 Also try the chocolate cake - 1 slice will be enough for the table, it’s huge!

Great atmosphere! Perfect for a date night or celebration dinner. The rotating dining area was really cool! Food was delicious and our waiter (Ramsey) was very knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations for steak sauces and drinks. We will definitely be back for more!

Great spot for a nice dinner. All the food items we got were amazing and the service is what you'd expect from an upscale steakhouse. Atmosphere and views are unique and fun as well.

We had an amazing experience at the Swizzle! We were seated right away in the revolving restaurant. Great views and staff was out of the way friendly. Food was top notch and honestly prices were very reasonable. Definitely 5 stars!

Absolutely astounding. The view Swizzle Offers is like no other. Upon getting off the elevator, when you approach the desk, you are immediately greeted by two very welcoming hosts. They let us get in and get seated within 5-10 minutes. The waiter, Ramsey, was very welcoming as well. He gave very good recommendations, and was attentive to us. We had a party of 3 and went on a whim to the hotel to explore. I Was very impressed with his approach to everything. We were very intrigued with spinning dining area. The view from our table was like no other. We did feel slightly underdressed with our street attire though. The burger I had was good, but I think should have went with medium well instead of well done. That's why 4 stars on the food. Thanks again for allowing us to come In so sudden. We really enjoyed the view and good hospitality.

The view from the 25th floor here is just as amazing as the food. I highly recommend requesting a table on their rotating dining floor to get the best view possible. We shared the carnivore platter which includes three different kinds of steaks and your choice of three sauces. Each was cooked to perfection and more than enough for two to share. The duck fat crusted potatoes were the perfect side to go with it. They also have a wide variety of delicious and creative cocktails as well as an extensive wine selection.

Hailey greeted us, and told us to take a look around. We loved it so much, that we stayed and grabbed a quick bite to eat at the bar. Cash was friendly and outgoing, and we were impressed with his ability to make fantastic drinks and still maintain conversations with the guests. The food was delicious, and the staff worked well together. We wish they were serving dinner the night we were there, but now we have to go back. The hotel overall was wonderful, but the experience at Swizzle was unforgettable.

Looking for a breathtaking view while dining Swizzle is definitely that, however I would advise that when we went they were slightly under staffed. Which was advised so my date & I did have to wait some time between courses. With that being said the food here was good, I was not of the asparagus, but everything else was great. My scallops & his steak were cooked perfectly, but the star was dessert, the Bananas Foster pie & the Muhammad Ali bread pudding are a must.

Had dinner here and I was quite pleasantly surprised. The food, ambiance, and service were all quite exemplary and exceeded expectations. An absolute "Must Visit" if you're in Louisville and "Cannot Miss" if you're staying at the Galt House Hotel!

Came here for a birthday dinner and it was an excellent experience! The views are amazing and service from Brittany was excellent. She even made sure to get a pic of us when we rotated to the perfect spot. Food was delicious, the gnocchi was our favorite, as well as Chilean sea bass. Will be coming back!

I made a reservation for my boyfriends birthday and this was the best decision ever. We luckily were seated in the rotating room with our server, Brittany, who is top tier. We started with the delicious calamari and the yummiest cocktails. We shared the platter of ribeye ,sirloin ,and strip with a side of fries which were made in heaven. As we rotated around the room, Brittany and the host offered to take pictures for us. Everyone was so kind and professional and the experience and food and drinks are 100% worth it. Probably looking at our new spot for special occasions. Thank you so much to everyone, especially 5 star Brittany, for making this a wonderful evening! OMG AND THE BANANAS FOSTER CHEESECAKE OOOOOKAAAAAY

I’ve been to other steakhouse/high end restaurants in Louisville and Swizzle surpassed my expectations! The food and drinks were delicious and the view was spectacular! We started with calamari for appetizer and Sting Like a Bee, Razzle Dazzle and Float Like a Butterfly for drinks. Dinner was the Cedar Plank Roasted Salmon Filet, Cowboy Cut Ribeye Steak, Duck Fat Crusted Potatoes and Wild Mushrooms. The whole meal was topped off with a birthday piece of cake that was huge! Would definitely come back and recommend to others!

My husband I came into town for our 2nd wedding anniversary!! We ate here on a Saturday night. We requested the rotating room by a window. It wasn't guaranteed but we got it!! Food was awesome! We ordered shrimp cocktail and grilled bacon for appetizer. Dinner was the carnivore plate with duck fat crusted potatoes and rosemary grilled mushrooms. Dessert we had skillet grilled pineapple upside down cake. My husband had their smoke box old fashion cool presentation and I had Pau Hana Grog..rum fruity drink very delicious!! Amazing food and atmosphere(25th floor views)our waiter Ken was the best!! They didn't have specialty coffee so he made me French pressed coffee (local coffee too).

Amazing experience with our waiter Ken guiding us through the very best swizzle has to offer. Amazing views from the rotating dining floors and top notch food. Ken is outstanding in not only recommending food and drinks, but also in ensuring custom off menu cocktail orders are executed to perfection (huge thanks to the bartender Travon as well!) We will certainly be back as this is one of those rare combinations of food, service, atmosphere and amazing people that make memories for a lifetime.

This place is one of Louisville’s best restaurants! I am a first time visitor to the state and wanted fine dining! I was not disappointed! Brittany should have her own icon on your website! She is a quintessential waitress!!! She was friendly, professional and proficient! AND John, the assistant manager was at the front desk and reflected the courtesy and friendliness expected in a GM who cares about customer service. By the time I leave Kentucky, I would have eaten there 3 days consecutively! You must try this restaurant! Beautiful decor and the rotational dining room gives one a view of the river and other sights of the city! Ps Francis, one of the GMs has the best personality!!!! She is an asset!

Truly an immersive experience. Make sure to reserve the rotating table which takes you on a slow and quiet journey to get amazing views of the city and Ohio River. Brittany was a server and gave us the best recommendations and even helped us make decisions for the rest of our trip. The oysters were delicious and the cowboy cut ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. The Mac and cheese was also one for the books. John, the assistant GM, was attentive to every guest and made sure everyone was enjoying their experience. We met Cash and Trayvon at the bar who made great recommendations to enhance a drink that I already loved. Next time your in the area, make sure you reserve your spot and enjoy this unique dining experience.

Sizzle has great views and the entrance decor was nice. Customer service was very polite and inviting. Our appetizers, calamari and lobster bisque, was served cold and the bisque was very salty. They did take the calamari back and fixed the dish. However, the bisque was tasty but beware the salt. I had the bone in 24oz Ribeye and my wife had the scallops. Both dishes were very good but the sides came a little late. The red wine my wife had was delicious. Our desert was a type of cheesecake that was very good but equally sweet. Overall, the evening went reasonably well but with some significant tweaks to the lack of detail to our table from an inattentive server, having table cloths would have been a great touch, and the aforementioned, the evening could have been great.

We went for "small plate" Sunday brunch, and it's just "okay". Had different breakfast breads, eggs, steak strips, fried egg, hashbrowns, french press coffee. The food, "all" of it was COLD. Not worth the money! Service was great. They do include the tip automatically to the amount which I'm not fond of because I always tip better if warranted by great service.

Disclaimer: I know we are in a pandemic and I fully respect the men and women who serve us in the food service industry. With that being said, had reservations for 2 at 8:30pm. Arrive on time and was not sat for 20mins. Finally got sat and the waiter comes over 10mins later to introduce himself and to say he will be back to take our drink order. We get drinks and order food, the food was super cold, had to send it back twice. The waiter apologized and mentioned the kitchen was having issues. ( no worries, things happen).. All in all, the experience was just okay, Ive heard great things from friends so figured I'd give it a try. I suggest you fellow foodies do the same and hope you have a better experience.

Great food, great service, great food. We ordered the calamari and warm marinated olives. I had the BLT salad, pork Tomahawk chop, and finished with the bananas Foster cheesecake.

Great overall dining experience, all the dishes were very good, but I have to rate the bagel choice as my top one. Highly recommend the "High Top" seating so you can sit on the revolving floor with the view. Also the men's restroom has an interesting view as well, but heard the women's room was lacking one. John was our server and he was very attentive, professional, and personable! Thank you.

Do NOT order the gnocchi. It was an inedible, rubbery concoction in a strange sauce that did not match the menu description. Was there with a large group, many of whom had good looking steaks. Bread that came before dinner was very tasty and my wedge salad was excellent, but the gnocchi should never have made it out of the kitchen.
