Perfect date night. I was really surprised how much I enjoyed strolling through the zoo after hours listening to calming music and enchanted by the beautiful displays. Can't recommend it enough.

This is a great event! The transformed zoo is magical. As you walk through the grounds, soft, peaceful music is played. There is an opportunity to see some of the animals, although many were bedded down for the night. You definitely get your monies worth as the lights cover a good portion of the park. There is a marked route to walk but you can take your time walking through. Limited souvenirs were available but not concessions. There were plenty of restrooms available. I would definitely recommend a visit and be sure to bring your phone or camera for pictures!

5/28 Highly recommend for the Wild Lights! It was a unbelievable experience. You must see the performance that is offered at three times, & for the best experience I would recommend going two hours before close. You will beat the crowd and all the kids & the lights will be better at dark. I drove two hours & would love to come back to go through the zoo and see the animals.

My husband and I have visited two years in a row during this event and both experiences were amazing! We went a little earlier this year, before it got too dark, and I’m glad we did since we got to see more of the animals. We stayed long enough to see the lights and the Wild Lights performance. The performers were very impressive and talented and we love how the lights change every year. We don’t have any children yet, but we’re looking forward to bringing our family here in the years to come!

Wild lights at the Louisville zoo was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and worth the price! I wanted to go, but kept thinking it was expensive and I didn't want to be upset with spending so much money and not living up to my expectations. It surpassed all expectations. The interactive elements were fun for kids and adults. The acrobat show kept my 2.5 and almost 5 yo riveted while my 1 yo was a bit distracted. All 3 of my kids LOVED Wild Lights and we definitely plan to go again!

It's a great place to go with family or friends. Very beautiful. We went when it was dusk to better enjoy the lights and stayed till midnight just looking at all the lanterns. Also if lucky you'll see the Maned Wolf up close to the fence like we did

Wild Lights is amazing. Absolutely beautiful lights displays. Several are interactive by stepping on a lighted pad, they move and or change colors. The show was awesome. The play area is really cool, lighted swings, bubbles filled with smoke. Does require a lot of walking, so wear shoes accordingly, and some is up hill..

The 1.4 mile walk through one of our nation's largest Lantern displays of 50,000+ LED lights was so amazing. It was definitely worth the $20 per adult price & $6 parking. The best time to visit is to arrive at the ticket gate no later than 8:15pm, as the sun sets & gets dark about 9pm here in late May. So, the sweet spot of getting there at this time is that if you want to take selfie like we did, you still have just enough daylight to capture that selfie or take a photo of your family, but yet the light display is still vivid, even though it's not totally dark. However, when it gets totally dark, the phone camera had a hard time getting us in front of the lights in background drowning us out, however, the flash worked well. Enjoy the walk if you go & allow for 1hr 30 to 2hr to get through the entire display, while also taking the time to get a drink and/or snack.

Pretty incredible experience with granddaughter and other family members. Loved the colors, lights, music. The drink stations throughout were also very nice.

We live in Northern KY and made the trip to Louisville for this event. It was better than I expected and worth the drive. There was a nice, easy to follow circle path marked around the zoo, so it was impossible to miss anything. There were more displays that I anticipated and the displays were more elaborate. I hope to get to see this next year.

Such a beautiful experience to walk through and see all the lights and enjoy a cultural show 3/4 of the way through the route. The day we went was rainy, but with umbrellas, we were able to thoroughly enjoy all of the beauty. We loved the interactive area as well!!

πŸ‘πŸ‘ The Number 1 art show in the USA last year, there is a ton of really great stuff to see. And more than a day’s worth. St. James is the hub, but the rest of the area is very involved and it seems like each of the neighboring communities expands the show every year. And there is, of course food and...

😠 Holy price gouging Batman! $15 drinks, $15 food, no reentry, I was pretty disappointed. I had a 4 day pass and wished I’d just bought 2 days. I felt like they were reaching in my pocket every second I was there.
