    They received a 1 star review because of the disgusting behavior or the manager. Never have I witnessed such a nasty human speak to their employees in that tone. Especially in front of customers for all to see. It was dehumanizing to say the least and I hope to see that manager gone soon. Someone needs to put an end to that behavior immediately. If it weren’t for that manager, I would’ve rated higher. Especially since the groomer that was being reprimanded like that for all to see always does such a stellar job, and always so kind as well!!

    Unprofessional people. Every-time that I schedule a grooming and bath they don’t have the person available or is sick. And today they told me that she was not certify for something. Is the fourth time that they tell me something different. Horrible atiende from the grooming women.

    So. Where do I begin. My dog is an English cream golden retriever. This groomer tried to tell me he was a Great Pyrenees breed. Sorry lady my dog is a registered AKC Golden retriever. He’s smaller than a Great Pyrenees and his coat is different. I wanted his cut to go low WITHOUT damaging his undercoat. He hadn’t been groomed since March. She cut him like a poodle but left patches. His head was uneven, had bald patches. His tail was untouched. He looked a complete mess. I’ve never had bad experiences with petsmart groomers but will NEVER go here again. I should’ve known when she called me she had messed up.

    Terrible They forgot my dog was even there. When they started grooming her they cut her with the clippers. We had to take her to the emergency animal hospital. This is a terrible establishment. Do not bring your pets here.

    I have 2 very picky cats, an even pickier dog, and a lizard that don't care. This is my one stop shop for all of them. Everything I need for them is always ALWAYS in stock no matter what their likes may be at the moment. They are pricier than other large chain retailers but they are ALWAYS in stock. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful (even when u run in the door at closing time bcuz u forgot crickets earlier & need to feed the lizard!)

    Customer service does not exist at this store. My grooming appointment was cancelled which was understandable but I was told someone would call me back that afternoon to reschedule and no one called. I then called to reschedule myself and was told they were busy in the grooming salon to just keep calling back. I love my groomer Morgan she is excellent but I am looking for someone else who values me as a customer.

    Went to adopt a cat. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If the adoption is successful I will definitely be returning to fill all my cats needs.

    It always seems they have more to offer than the other pet stores. Unfortunately, for me, it's a little further to get to. So, unless I really need to have a better choice in an item, I go closer to home. Too bad.

    This is my favorite place to go and visit with my dog to get pet food and things. Always busy and the staff are always very nice if you need to find something in the store. I like the fact that you can take your pet inside and shop with you. Always a great and fun time inside the store.

    Omg EVERYONE (staff) was Sooooo helpful and Nice but I must give a SPECIAL shout out to the young lady working in the fish department she got me together!!!! I Apologize for not knowing her name but she gave me Energy n such Great Customer Service I forgot to ask but just know she ROCKS and I hope she is there when I come Friday,,,Great job you guys!!!!😊😊😊

    Wonderful experience at the Petsmart Outer Loop location! Staff were knowledgeable and genuinely friendly. Such a great environment to take your dog, cat or any other animal too.

    I have to say I'm truly disappointed with this place. I have purchased fish and snails from them in the past. I think my biggest problem is the fish tanks. There are ALWAYS dead fish in the majority of the tanks! I bought a couple of glo-fish, and the employee told me they were DYED!!!, then proceeded to say - SO IF THE COLOR FADES, THAT'S WHY! UMMMM, NO! I told her that was incorrect, then told her the process. She didn't have much else to say after I said: The scientists injected fluorescent genes from jellyfish and sea anemones into the eggs of a silver and black zebra danio. I don't work at a pet store, but I do research before making a purchase! Maybe you should do the same with the people you employ!

    I bought three stuffed animals for my dogs. They were all on sale and a great price and the store was very helpful in finding them in the building. I had researched them online but they assisted me.

    The staff is friendly, and they do a decent job of cleaning up after someone's pet pees or poops. The store is well stocked. However, it is very pricey. There is a Banfield Pet Hospital located inside of Pet Smart, so that is convenient.

    I had a horrible experience with the groomers at this location. I brought my 6 year old pug to have him get his nails trimmed and groomed, and I get a phone call 30 minutes after dropping him off saying that he’s ready to be picked up, but they couldn’t trim his nails “because he wouldn’t let us.” I offered to hold him while they cut his nails, considering he’s much more calm when I hold him, and then I was told “I can’t go back where the workers are, and he can only get his nails trimming while he’s on a table.” They also told me I need to put my dog on a sedative next time so he’s “much more calm.” This is super unacceptable, very unprofessional, and I hope something gets done about this. I basically just brought my dog to get a bath, which I could very easily do at home. Thanks for nothing

    You can adopt a cat and get everything you need for that cat in one store. Prices are fairly competitive and it doesn't seem too busy whenever I go.

    I'm writing this review because of the manager Adam. I worked here for almost a year. I loved my coworkers and I always ended up buying something cute for my cats. The only thing that made me leave was the manager. If you see him: he's a tall guy on the outside but very small on the inside, White guy, very slim I'm only writing this because I had a DoorDash order. I don't feel comfortable going into the store anymore because he's very hostile. The DoorDasher needed help finding something and didn't speak very good English. So he gave the phone to the manager. Once Adam realized it was me he hung up and canceled my order. He refused to help the DoorDasher so he just left. As I was going through Google reviews I wasn't surprised to see there are several people complaining about the manager and about getting bad fish. Adam struggles to keep employees so he struggles to have coverage on the floor. Which means there are people covering the fish wall that have absolutely no idea how to take care of fish. (Customers if you're starting a fish tank and you don't know what you're doing, this is not the place for you to start) if an employee doesn't know something they'll Google it just like you. Adam also struggles with educating employees about how to sell animals safely. He has no problem telling a customer no if he or an employee doesn't feel comfortable selling them the animal. The issue with that is he has very little compassion and doesn't want to educate the customer. So most of the time the customer would just come back into the store when Adam is not working and get the animal they wanted. I also witnessed major abuse of the birds in the back. On my second day I witnessed another employee snatch birds out of her cage with her bare hand and shake them in a box. The birds will sit in the back for months. One in particular sat in a back room for 8 months before putting it on the floor. By that time it was basically crazy from having little interaction and being around other stressed out birds in a small cage. Customers get none of that knowledge before you buy the bird. We also split up a bonded pair. The other bird basically died from the inside out. He was clearly brokenhearted and none of that information was given to the customer so she brought the bird back because of behavioral issues. There's a huge lack of communication at the store. I think about the lack of care animals receive every day and it makes me feel so sad and useless. But it makes me furious a corporation like PetSmart that has enough money to take care of their animals, is so oblivious to their needs before they reach their "forever home"

    Has a lot of stuff, heavy on dog and cat items. Its a clean store. The check outs always have a wait. I don't believe I ever been there when I didn't have to wait in line. Usually only 1 register in use.

    My groomer was super sweet to my very frightened 100 lb Lab. Though he had been to a groomer years ago, i think he thought he was visiting the Vet clinic lol not sure where his fear comes from. Sad to see him so unsure of himself. He is my service dog and never leaves my side. Also could be an issue with him. They dealt with it very professional!! I usually bathe him myself.

    I placed an order from this store through Doordash. Order was cancelled and now my order is tied up. It was only pet food. Not a necessity to Pet Smart obviously. I was told by DD support the store didn’t prepare the order.

    Took my puppy in for a bath and brush service, all the workers were great and polite. He looked good and happy when I picked him up. They did an awesome job and I will definitely be using them for his grooming from here on out.

    I go to this PetSmart beyond frequently with 2 cats, a dog, & a lizard all needing to be fed & kept happy with toys & treats. They have an adoption center, grooming salon, Banfield Pet Hospital, & offer training classes from housebreaking ur new puppy to doing tricks. They are always in stock with whatever I need for any of the animals (crickets & worms for the lizard are sometimes iffy but not very often). All of the staff are friendly & not judge-y when ur pet decides the dog food aisle is a good place to use the restroom (they have plenty of cleaning stations). And I've only seen lizards that shouldn't be housed together (leopard geckos...) once solitary time in the years I've been coming here.

    I've taken my pet dog there, on several occasions, I was a bit disappointed with the unprofessional behavior of the employees, Noone greeted me or tended to me, as I stood there waiting, I asked if there was someone tending the counter, and was ignored. I wasn't pleased with the grooming of my pet either, maybe the young girls were to busy, thinking of their boyfriends. My last time, taking my pet, there. This is one of the reasons why, big chain stores, endup closing, their doors for business, and by the way, the customers are the reason why their doors open. Food for thought.

    Took my dog to Banfield, they were great. Super friendly staff and they took good care of my dog. What wasn't great was seeing about a dozen dead betta fish floating in their little cups. Also, I noticed snail infestations in several of their aquariums. They need to take better care of their aquatics.

    One word "Horrible" I felt like I was ripped off. My pets went to groomers and came out smelling the same way they did when we took them. They did a rush job on my pets. I thought grooming was to pamper dogs not do a rush job because you booked a thousand pets at the same time, at least that's what it seem like. PetSmart use to do a great job in caring for your pets when they are groomed. Not anymore I guess we'll have to find a new and better groomer that cares about your pet.

    Notice. This rant is mostly directed at corporate and the inventory system. .. Had to get some shoes for the dog since we are in snow here and she's not used to it. They had them online but not in the store. They also have items in the store that said were not available for pick up online. Had to go to 3 different stores to get different things because the inventory system is so wonky on what each store has or doesn't have. We finally placed an order for what we wanted to be delivered the next morning and were told by email the next morning that the items were not available, after calling the store to confirm they had the items in stock and were available for pick up. So we just canceled the order since all they have was the socks and not shoes. Then at 4 I had a knock on the door and was petsmart delivery with the items we had canceled. Very Confused. The people st the store were good just need a better system. Get it together guys. You charge way too much for stuff I can get cheaper, to put me thru all this hassle.

    I give this store 3 stars because even though there's tons of cool pet supplies and the staff are very helpful and nice, they have an impossible time keeping food in, mostly their canned foods and when they quickly run out it takes a long time to get more. Also they're bad about having only 1 register going with very very long lines while lots of other employees just walk around and act like they're doing something else so that they don't have to check out customers I wish they'd do a better job on this point, other petsmart stores are better on both accounts.

    Since the Groomer I took my Pyrenees to moved farther away, I've been looking for a groomer that knows how to groom a very large double-coated dog. The places I've tried since seem good with the little dogs, but don't seen to be able to do as well with a one hundred-pound stack of drool and hair. The PetSmart groomers did a very good job. My Pyr was clean and neat and smelled of vanilla. It costs quite a bit, but I was paying almost as much for a badly done grooming.
