Came for wings, left for the racism. Just walked in and was turned away because of lack of space due to the UofL/UK game. Two tables were leaving and I was told they were reserved for for their regulars who would arrive in 15 minutes. I was told we couldn’t sit at the bar too, again no space. But the next group was able to get bar seating and could squeeze in but we weren’t even given the option. A party of five walked in after us and they were going to see what they could do… but for my party of three nothing. And before you ask, yes we’re black and yes the other parties were white. I wouldn’t assume it would matter but it surely felt like it. I never assume anyone is being racist. Sometimes race seems like a factor when it’s not but here today I definitely got that vibe. He mentioned how non regulars getting seats before regular often led to fights and trouble. And how trouble usually shows up on big game days in the form of non regular customers. Im not trouble, I’m just hungry. The family of five did not get that speech, or the lack of space speech… just given the option to wait it out. They too weren’t regulars though. But they were white. Smh, I was even given another restaurant suggestion. No other family got this treatment. Taking it real personal today. Never again.

Awesome place to catch a game or just eat or have a few drinks. Courtney was our amazing waitress and kept our drinks coming. Beer is cold. Food specials were great price and actually tasted better than the reg menu options. Club is good too but I do not recommend the burgers. Maybe I just had a bad one but wasn't very good all the way around. But out of 3 meals 2 were awesome and can't deny the atmosphere here. Close the the Expo center so great place to eat if you are at one of the shows...

Walked in later in the evening, around 10 or so, in the middle of the week, still received great service, incredible hot food, and a very well made drink. Even the other customers were fun and inviting! Very good job ladies!!! Would most definitely recommend, especially if your looking for late evening food other than chain store fast food and a cold beer or drink!!

I love stopping at this place when I'm in the area. Food has always been great and so are the prices. Great spot to watch some sports and have food and drinks. Had a bacon cheeseburger and potato skins.

I went with a friend during lunch time and the restaurant was full. We were seated quickly and our service was very good. The food was hot, tasted great, and had large portions. It's a sports bar and grill, so you can also see televisions from almost any angle. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Got double dipped bufflo wings absolutely horrible no flavor. Not sure how you mess up wings but they succeeded. A friend got a burger looked like from the kids side of the menu . Wasted 40.00 we never return.

Hoops is a great place to watch the game with your boys or take your family for a night of wings. Staff and management are always great and super friendly. Best wings in my opinion.

Great place to go watch NFL games on Sundays! But you must get there SUPER early to find a seat. Nice laid back environment with no judgment!

Very fun place. Everyone seemed like family. Even waitresses helped each other. Hate that it is 2 1/2 hours from home. Stopped on way home to watch a game and was very impressed. Great food as well.

I fancy myself a bit of a regular here. And I've never been disappointed. It's a fantastic lunch spot, a hopping dinner joint, and a comfy place to call a second (or third!) home. And don't forget to tip these ladies, they work hard to make Hoops a wonderful place to be.

Food was good, pizza, chicken, shrimp a good place to eat and watch the Uk Games!! Drinks and food reasonable price, laid-back and the waiters r nice

Racist, rude, terrible service. My bf called and asked a few questions and told the manager he would call right back with an order. I guess the manager didn’t like him or answering his questions because by bf called back for 30 min and he wouldn’t answer the phone. My bf finally decided to block his phone number then call and of course the man picked up the phone. When I got there and asked why he wouldn’t take his order the manager said he had been in the kitchen. They were not busy and there was no line so he obviously was ignoring our calls. There were 3 servers leaning against the counter and the bartender had three customers. They were so rude and ridiculous. Not a single black person in there and they wouldn’t take our order. What kind of racial discrimination is okay to you???

Great service, good atmosphere and pretty good food too. Plus they have different specials every day. Which is something you don't see everyday in our utopia of inflation.

Nice place right nearby. Lots of TV's to watch sports of all types. The wings are delicious and the beer is icy cold.

They have so many TV sets in here. The food was Top Notch. The owner set the TVs for what you wanted to watch near the table you were sitting, which was nice. The waitresses came by so many times to check on us. They went above and beyond and made sure you were taken care of. Definitely a nice bar and grill to go to for sports ..I'll be back

The grilled shrimp and fried pickles are off the chain. Drinks aren't bad either and reasonable.

My friend told me how great this place was. Unfortunately we came on a bad day. Terrible service. Took an hour and 50 minutes to get our food. It was packed in there. I realize this. And I always take that into consideration. But our waitress never even checked on us. Or refilled our drinks. We ended up asking if we could just get our food to go. And then the waitress seemed annoyed and apologized for our wait. The guy singing sounded good but the music was way too loud. I’m giving this a 3 because the food was ok. It was the server not the food.

Nothing bad to say about this place at all. Good food. Good price. Cheap beer. Great waitresses. What more can u ask for?

We were in Kentucky to go to Kentucky kingdom and are from northern indiana and we stopped at hoops and had a great experience. The food, drinks, and service was great! Our waitress Lexi was awesome. Definitely will be back when we are in Louisville!

Great wing bar! Delicious wings and sandwiches. Cute servers. Great beer specials. Tons of tvs so it's a really nice place to watch big games.

Great place to eat, drink and be merry. Excellent food for groups, pairs and singles. You can belly up to the bar while you eat drink and watch a games. Prices and service are good.

Food is decent, but they have a touchtunes music system in there that you can pay money via app to play songs, if they don't like the song you pay to put in the que they just skip it.

Hadn't been there in a long long time. Impressed with the quality and value of their food. The pizza was very good and the cheeseburger on a subsequent visit was great. The service was excellent and just a generally great time was had by all

I hate this place. The food isn't good, I always feel unwelcomed, and the decor has about an inch of dust ready to fall right into my plate. How is it still open

Went for lunch and had the reuben. Food came out steaming hot in less than 10 minutes on a packed busy lunch day. Onion rings were great and service was awesome!!! I will eat here for lunch more often.
