Came for breakfast and drinks before distillery tour opened @10am. Nice atmosphere, mint julep and bloody mary were tasty.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. An amazing bourbon selection with some very rare "dusties." Great place to get a coffee (with bourbon cream) in the morning. Wish I had found this place sooner and been able to stop in during the evening! If I ever make it back to Louisville, I'm definitely going back to Doc's.

I have to go against the grain here. The space itself is beautiful. Very impressive with the walls lined with bourbon. That being said, the bourbon pours themselves are INSANELY priced. 1oz Knob Creek 12 @ $60?! I bought a bottle for $70. Old fashioned was ok, but who goes to a place like this for just ok? Food was good but again nothing special. PASS for me.

For a new place - they have it all. knowledge burbon guides who can pick up your particular interest for the night to help guide you through a 30 page menu. Small plates is the thing so be prepared to share I would recommend the lamb flat bread our best choice of the night with food.

I never see so much of whiskey like Doc's Bourbon before. Probably more than thousand bottles of whiskey on the shelf and you can taste. We're sat down at the bar order old fashion and incredible flavor and details work. Excellent services as well.

The bartender was very attentive despite how busy was She always checked in to ensure we were satisfied, and in just the perfect way, where as some check in with you too much. The mussels were perfection and the entire decor and overall look was very lovely. Best food we had for our entire weekend getaway. Will definitely return if in Louisville again.

Came in to sample some bourbon. I can’t remember when I last had 2 bartenders that were less interesting in giving service. We ordered one of the more expensive flights that was dumped in front of us without a word. We got so much good service everywhere else in Louisville

Zach in the bar is incredible. Only my second night in Louisville and he made me feel so welcome. Also made a great cocktail suggestion when I told him what bourbon I usually drink but wanted to try something new. The food was also fantastic. 10/10 would recommend, and I’ll definitely be back multiple times during my contract here.

Ate breakfast here. The 2 servers did exceptionally well for the amount of people that came through the door all at once. Eggs were amazing along with the chicken fried steak.

Hundreds (thousands?) of American whiskies. I found a pour I had been wanting to try for years for a reasonable price. Great, friendly, knowledgeable bartenders. No nightclub vibes, just good pours and good conversation.

Food was great, staff were friendly and upbeat on a Saturday morning. However, we came in primarily for coffee and were disappointed to receive pretty weak/transparent liquid. While I understand the concept of weaker β€œdiner coffee,” this tasted more of water than anything.

Got the BBQ platter and ordered it while telling the bartender that my wife has Celiac's and she can't have gluten. The fried and battered onions were placed on one of the BBQ meats and the bread on another, making the meats inedible for my wife (she is that sensitive and she's pregnant, which can literally kill our soon to be first-born). The BBQ was okay but not great. The service was okay otherwise, though they did give us the wrong bill and then missed two drinks on the bill (we're honest like that and had them correct it). To be fair they were very busy for a Tuesday night, but still.
