The gentleman working the front desk was super friendly and convened more pleasant. However he left out an important detail about the room, there is no heat. My girlfriend is pregnant I was really irritated because I don't want her getting sick obviously and it was cold last night! I wasn't offering any kind of a discount or anything like that.

Disgusting and despicable. Roach's and gnats were in the rooms (yes, rooms. We requested a different room TWICE and still found bugs galore). No phones in the rooms, not that they are really all that necessary. The people working and the people staying there all seem just as sketchy and rude. The key card machine was broken so they staff had to let us into the room at any time we left and returned. It was just inexcusable and so ridiculous. Most the people staying there actually live there, you can tell they are under the influence. Not a place ideal for taking children, not even for a second. Not even exaggerating a little bit. It's truly just sad. Shame on the owner(s) of this motel. I've never seen a place so shameful (even out of all the other sketchy places I've seen in my life, this is truly the worst yet!).

It’s honestly cheaper, CLEANER and safer to sleep in your vehicle. This place is overran with roaches, they tell you when you check in, the “ AC” are jerry rigged swamp coolers, the place is full I mean FULL of crackheads and tweakers everywhere. You feel skeevy being there, showers don’t work, they’re cold and full of mildew. I honestly don’t know how this place isn’t shut down by the health department.

Considering it's a 2 Star hotel it lived up to it's rating. Lol. The room was clean enough. Customer service was OK. I didn't see any bugs or anything. The bathroom and shower was good sized. I'd recommend for a quick 1 or 2 night stay. It's cheap, worth it.

Only stayed one night. Roaches in the room, no warm water, no mini fridge. Washer works good but the dryer doesn't dry clothes. Don't recommend anyone staying there.

Ya, so just don't... The only positive I have for this hotel. Is the ladies at the front desk. They deserve a better work environment.. Roaches are very much a true statement. Hell I was worried they might take my bags. Lol jk But the place is NOT well kept. Smells like an very old house with a mold problem. Hell even the water stunk. Js Save ur money, or pay the extra. Somewhere else.. And they are asking 79$ a night.. NO WAY, shouldn't even be 20$. They should pay us at checkout for lasting that long. Sorry, but it's true..

No heat, however the did offer space heaters for the rooms and did tell me at check-in, roaches crawling in the bed, floor, walls. Desperate need of some kind of remodel. Staff was friendly. You get what you pay for.

For the price the rooms are good, the staff that I have dealt with have been awesome, if I have needed anything they are usually there within an hour. They have onsite washer and dryer included in your stay. I have to say Mandi, Michelle, Kyle, and Curtis have went above and beyond, to help the people here.

Cockroach city. No hot water, ever. They'll keep telling you it's being fixed, but it isn't. Internet does not work. Period. I don't know about the alleged free breakfast, but based on the rest of my experience there I would rather starve. Walls are made of paper, and everybody makes lots of noise all night. Tweakers and crackheads side-eye you anytime you're outside. Microwave infested with roaches. Hard to see in the pic, there were also visible babies blocking the number screen on it, and fried ones inside. Do yourself a favor and just stay in your car at a truck stop. Go listen to "Tuesday" by Aesop Rock, and you'll feel like you're already at the Roach Carpet inn.

I love the community here. Everyone is like family and always willing to help another. Huge shoutout to Kris Kitchen for always making sure we have everything we need!

Got stuck in this pit for 2 weeks. I'll never go back. No water at all for 2 days, and no hot water for the remaining 10 days of the stay. Bugs and run down rooms, this is the epitome of a "roach motel". The service was Bush League at best and with the water debacle, could not believe wasnt even offered a refund, discount or comp. Sad too because being right off the Eastern Boulavard exit from I-65, it's in a premier location. 1 out of 5

This is not a vacation motel. But if you are a local and just want to get away for the day, or you are transitioning, the staff will be nice, accommodating, and polite without hovering or being rude. The maintenance staff is nice and willing to help if you need something. They are cleaning up the place as we speak. Things don't happen over night. Children not recommended.

Staff members were great. Cockroaches were way too socialized for my comfortability. However, the secluded location made for a comfortable place to sleep in the bed in my van undisturbed while still utilizing other facilities on the property.

Not the best stay. I accidentally booked this room thinking I was booking for the one on hurstborne ln in Louisville. It was a decent price, so decided not to cancel and rebook. The shower curtain really didn’t work and water was everywhere after showering. Not to mention, the room was badly infested with roaches. And checking in was pretty much a nightmare. They had a signs stating they were full, but I biked and paid online. Honestly I think they forgot or didn’t realize I booked so had to just throw me into a room that was being worked on. I can say, I won’t be staying here when I come to town.

Worst stay ever! They have inaccurate information on the place online. The first night we got there they put us in a room infested with roaches, no tv, no microwave and we were paying for a room with those accomodations. The next day they moved us next door when a guest checked out without cleaning the room at all. We kept asking for towels and never received them. the room they put us in was a safety hazard we couldn't get in it. We were outside till 6 am waiting to be let in 2 of the workers popped the wood piece above the air conditioner unit and put my daughter thru to open the door. We were not reimbursed in anyway or any credit given for any of this we requested to be moved. They said they only had one other room available when we opened the door to that room it smellEd like rotten meat. It would seriously make you vomit. So they kept us in the room we were in. Their machine wouldn't take our card so we had to go to the ATM machine they harassed us to no end. After telling us we had till 2:00 everyday. Today while gone to get money they told us we would have to leave or they were calling the cops. That was not ok considering all this. This place needs to be condemned.

I went to clean my mother's room because no one would clean it for her she's had to stay there since July(cheapest).when I moved her bed out to sweep under it my broom hit the wall and no exaggeration 50 roaches came running out I've never in my life seen that many . And next I was making her bed and when I tuckered the sheets there was a bunch of bedbugs on the wood part of the bed .it just broke my heart to leave her there oh and oneorevthing she didn't have water for 2 days and they wouldn't give her another room until I went up there and throwed a fit

Stayed their last night, excellent pricing, staff is very friendly, onsight laundry for guest. Kyle Kitchen was great in making sure my room had everything I needed. Microwave, refrigerator, cold A/C and when I needed anything else she was right there.

It's nasty, dirty, and has roaches. It's a very unfit place to stay at and has to many problems with their service.

There was roaches, no hot water or water at all for a month still no water, mold and very nasty place I would not recommend no one to stay here it needs to be shut down plus the manager wanted people to pay full price to pay the employees knowing we was with out water and roaches .

When you need a drug infested motel, this is one to choose. By far this gem of Jeffersonville truly surpasses all other competitors. Not just in price, Red Carpet Inn has the darkest parking lots, hiding some rough pavement and always at two shady characters near the trees smoking. Speaking of the guest, the motel guarantees 3 arguments* (Thur-Sunday 5), at least two responses and 1 overdose every night! Come on to the Old Motel 6, Jeff's tallest shady motel.

Room was okay but no air conditioning. The environment outside does not feel safe, as there are seemingly sketchy people everywhere running around outside at all hours of the night and day...

The place needs a serious cleaning and a whole lot of work done to it my room but I rented had a bullet hole through the glass and the door was open the windows don't lock it's got to be one of the worst motels I've ever stayed in my life thank you and have a good night

Absolutely awful experience. There were homeless people yelling. No hot water. No air conditioning. Room smelled like cigarette smoke and had holes in the walls. We didn't even stay we felt it was not safe.

Roach infestation. Couldn't sleep because of so many roaches. Ice machine was broken. No continental breakfast like advertised. I asked for bug spray no one would bring me any. It was disgusting

Place is horrible! Staff doesn’t cooperate during shift change. Either that or they lie and try to steal your money. Then when your trying to surcome to whatever contengencies they come to they steal your stuff. That’s a fact!

See attached photo. A little context: mid afternoon, broad day light, these cockroaches are very very bold indeed...

The staff was nice and my room was clean and they made sure to keep me in clean linnens

Staff was very unprofessional and rude, was going to stay for a few hours not even a full day and was greeted by an angry worker yelling at us and telling us to leave. Affordable but is obviously housing drug addicts. I don't recommend for anyone.
