This place is awesome! Sallie and the rest of employees were very welcoming and personal. My girlfriend, now fiancée, went to look at engagement rings and they made the whole process stress free. They are very flexible and keep simple. As soon as my “soon to be better half” came home, she couldn’t stop talking about this jewelry store. I knew this was the place to go. I’m not claiming to be an expert of where to go for jewelry, but I can guarantee we’ll be back for future investments. Thumbs up... WAY UP! Plus that rock looks bomb on my honey’s hand.

Local jeweler who provides the customer service you would expect from a small, family owned business. Sallie was wonderful to work with and took care of me from start to finish. She was truly invested in helping me pick out an anniversary present for my wife. Extremely happy with the necklace we chose…so is my wife!

We love Clater Jewelers! When shopping for engagement rings we knew we wanted a local business and Clater was incredible. I they are also women owned and ran! Every associate was friendly and patient with our many questions. We worked with Sallie the most and she even found wedding bands from other places and brought them into the shop for me to try on until I found the perfect ring. We ended up getting all of our wedding rings and even a custom piece made with Clater. I cannot recommend Clater Jewelers enough!

I worked with Sally to find the perfect ring to propose to my lady with. She was very helpful with me over the course of about 3 sessions in the physical store in Westport village. The adage "every piece of jewelry tells a story" is often quoted, but I believe Clater Jewelers truly understands what that means and all it entails for the consumer. I recently brought in a ring that belonged to my grandmother to be restored. Megan was an amazing & understanding help as she helped me pick out a new shank that perfectly complimented the setting and they cleaned up everything to both make it shine like new but keep it's story and antiquity in place. My wife had a ring left to her by her mother with several diamonds in a gold setting but the ring was too large to resize. With Sallie’s help we chose a new ring and had some of the stones reset into it. It is beautiful! We highly recommend Clater Jewelers and appreciate their knowledge and excellent service.

I always knew I wanted my engagement ring to be special. I was inspired by antique, heirloom pieces that were timeless, beautiful and unique. When the time came to pick out my engagement ring, I wasn't really seeing anything in stores or online that felt like me. After my mom saw an advertisement for Clater Jewelers in a local magazine, the idea of crafting something custom was born. I am fortunate to have inherited jewelry collections from both of my grandmothers after their respective passings, so it was only fitting that the ring I created contained components of rings that belonged to them. From start to finish, Sallie at Clater's was absolutely wonderful. She walked me through the design process, listened to my ideas and examples of rings that inspired me, and was just so kind and attentive! The final product combined diamonds from my maternal grandmother's wedding band, sapphires from a ring that belonged to my paternal grandmother, and white gold from a necklace of my mother's. It's priceless to have three important women in my life connected in one piece. The day my ring was ready I went in to make sure the size was just right, so they blindfolded me! Even though I received renderings of my design, nothing could compare to seeing the real thing in front of me when my husband proposed. This ring is so special to me (and often receives compliments, so I can praise Clater's!) and I'm so happy that Clater's, especially Sallie, was a part of the journey. Thank you Clater Jewlers!

What can I add that hasn't already been said in any/all of the other reviews before me? I walked into the store several months ago "cold" and met with Sallie. Since then, I've been back too many times to count. I started with earrings, moved to an engagement ring, then a wedding ring, and onto a wedding gift necklace. I can't seem to get away! My mother’s funeral was one week before my daughter’s wedding.I wanted to reset the diamond my mom left to me in order to wear it to the wedding. I met with Sally on a Monday. I asked her to set the diamond with two little rubies from a ring my parents gave me when I was a child. Promising a Friday completion, Sally surprised me on Thursday with a call that my ring was ready. It is stunning! Equally impressive is the care the staff took in helping to meet my request. They were so supportive and took pride in making this little dream a reality!!
