Bought mystery snails here 2 days ago and they are doing great. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. They answered all my questions and then some. All 3 snails are very active and wandering around their new tank. Shells are very bright and lovely! My 2 year old fair goldfish really needed some tank mates. Currently in a 20 gal. Thank you :) (Adopted Sept. 30th 2021. EDIT~ Update— 12/27/21 all 3 snails still alive and healthy. Been feeding them algae wafers/bottom feeder pellets every other day and they are thriving with their tank mate.

EVERY FISH WE GOT DIED. We have tried this place every few years, the fish last a week if lucky. We bought 1, she died less than 20 hours later. They then claimed it was due to bacteria or nitrogen (all our other fish were fine, thank God), we have over a decade of experience with fish, so we keep the fish tanks in good condition. So after some arguing (about the return as they wanted to give store credit or exchange)I finally got cash back. Maybe they are good for the supplies or the exotic pets ,but do not buy fish here unless to feed them. Cute axolotls though and staff are mostly very nice. (Hence the extra star).

The people here are always so helpful! They took the time to let me ask all the questions to get my tank back in order and showed me everything that we needed. Now it is doing better then ever!

Just got a leopard gecko here. Shes already warmed up to her home. She looks healthy and perfectly fed!

Been there twice this week. The first time was for a tank, as I wanted to set it up before fish or live plants into it. The second time though was awful! It was busy so I waited my turn to be attended to, I watched as people that had been there before me got helped no issue there. But as new people came into the shop the workers there would walk around me to help them. One of the employees wouldn't move from a ladies side even though she didn't know what she wanted and was solely looking around for 15- 20 minutes. In total I waited up to 30-45 minutes asking and waiting for help yet getting completely ignored before just up and leaving. Honestly with that wait I could've just crossed the bridge to Louisville to find another pet store!!

Very knowledgeable staff, helpful and large selection of fish, reptiles and birds. Got our cockatiel (his name is Chicken) from them in May 2021. The sweetest bird ever ❤️

They need more than 5 Stars. I told the clerk I was trying to buy something for someone and had no idea what to get. Not only did the salesman get me everything I needed for a start up kit and how to care for the animal. Very knowledgeable and courteous

I love this pet shop. It's locally owned and ran. The staff is so extremely knowledgeable! The prices very fair and the selection is unbelievable! You can even request specific fish to be ordered if they happen to not have it. I recently became a aquarium mom and took on a pair of leopard geckos to look after until my brother and family are back in the country. Research is very split on both of these subjects on dr. Google so I was a bit confused but trying to get it together. Greentree got me together! They specialized staff that are so knowledgeable and own or even breed their own animals. The info I found about my fish was all wrong and the trip I made to feeders (don't get me wrong, i love feeders and they do a great job) crowded my decisions even more. They helped me understand the basic ideas of care, the ins and outs of each pet and explained everything I needed or even just wanted to know to make better decisions. Their guidance has helped me understand what info on the wild west internet is actually legit and what is hype. I owe it to them that my tanks or critters are alive and thriving.

Out of all the places to buy live fish around here, this place is number 1. It's clean, the staff is very knowledgeable and professional without being too extra. The staff at many of the other places remind me of car salesmen, obnoxiously anxious to help. Best of all, there's a massive variety of all different types of aquatic life from snails to shrimp, frogs and of course plenty of fish. Both freshwater, brackish and salt water. Their prices are significantly cheaper than other stores as well. I love this place. Glad I found it!

I love this place. They have an amazing selection of fish and reasonably priced. I started shopping here 16 years ago while dating my wife. Stopped by couple weeks ago to see nothing has changed. Moving back to the area and look forward to buying lots of fish here.

I hadn't been in awhile but since my granddaughter got an aquarium we went in to take a look at the options. I enjoyed the store and employees were nice but the smell was overwhelming.

Every time I’ve bought fish from here, majority of them have DIED due to diseases that are spread throughout their tanks. They do not quarantine their fish what so ever. Do not waste your money here.

The widest selection of both fresh water and marine aquarium stock, as well as lots of reptiles and other small pets! The staff is very knowledgeable as well, and if they cannot answer your questions they will point you in the direction to find it. They're usually quite busy, and even so the employees do their best to make sure everyone has the help they need! I have 3 fish tanks and the majority of the fish in them came from green tree pet center. Needless to say .. I love them!

I have several fresh and saltwater fish tanks set up. 95% of my fish and supplies come from Greentree. Jeremy in the saltwater section is top notch. They rest of the crew are very knowledgeable and friendly to.

I always use green tree for my pets. I have a large red tail boa and their feeder rats are always clean, friendly and parasite free. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and the animals they sell are healthy and happy. I always recommend here to everyone

Went there today and was pleasantly surprised by the size, variety, color, and price of the fish! I didn’t see one dirty tank and their prices are much better than nearby cities.

I absolutely love this pet store, but I have an issue with them carrying chinchillas. Chinchillas cannot be in temperatures higher than mid 70's, and that store is very humid and warm. If you're not able to keep them in a temperature controlled environment, don't sell them. It's not fair to the poor animals to be subject to an environment that could harm them. Also, in their cage, there is a rodent wheel for the chinchillas to run on, which can potentially break their backs. They use exercise disks, not wheels. They are very knowledgeable on the animals they sell, so it upsets me that the chinchillas aren't taken care of properly.

They have a great selection of freshwater and saltwater fish, and a decent amount of hard and soft corals, with all the stuff you'll need to take care of them. They have fair prices and are great about sharing their knowledge and experience with customers.

This is an excellent fish store. They have other animals like birds, rodents and snakes but I only come here for fish. Prices are good and the staff is helpful and very knowledge. From what I've seen they have the best prices for aquariums and an excellent selection of tropical and salt water fishies.

Very impressed with their service. Brittany helped me and was very knowledgeable. She explained the basics that I needed to know. She was also very considerate of my budget. I appreciate when someone will sell you all that you need ,but not try to talk you into everything in the store when you’ve already stated your budget. I got all the essentials for my anole and will buy all his future supplies from them only;)

Bought two small tetras for my daughter’s tank. Took a photo of her existing tetra to ensure the new fish were compatible with the current one. I was told the two I purchased were acceptable tanks mates. Fast forward 48 hours and both are dead. Current fish is live and well so conditions of the tanks more than likely aren’t the issue. New fish were also given ample time to match water temps. I live over 30 miles away so driving back to address the dead fish or ask for replacements isn’t really worth it financially speaking.

This is one of my favorite pet stores all the staff are extremely knowledgeable. I've been going there several weeks to get the insects and other things my son's bearded dragon need. We are new to reptiles and the staff has been extremely helpful wether in store or on the phone helping make sure we are doing the best for my son's beardie. Thanks guys.

Been going here for years. Great people. Great service. Very knowledgeable staff. Wide selection of fresh water fish and salt water products. As well as many other fun pets. Prices are very reasonable.

I really wanted to like this place. Every time I buy fish here, they do not last. I purchased 8 neon tetras and, I should have know to quarantine them. They had some sort of disease or virus, because I added them to my already established neon tank that was over a year old and I lost all of my fish and snails. Now I have an empty tank. I have better luck at feeders or even pets mart.

Great place for saltwater aquarium needs. I love the $15 frag tank! A great way to build a new coral tank on a budget. Everything I’ve gotten from here has been healthy and vibrant. I also very much appreciate the advice I’ve received from employees with experience in Saltwater aquarium keeping. Not the cheapest place for equipment and supplies, but I don’t mind the small markup to support a local business (I could have gotten filters and wave makers cheaper online, but I consider the extra $$ a donation to keeping a local livestock supplier in business). Definitely worth a visit if you have, or are interested in having a saltwater/coral reef aquarium. (They also have freshwater fish and other exotic animals too).

Nice and very helpful staff especially Lindsey. They had the cutest ferret ever for only 299.99! He's a baby and was just so sweet and cuddly! My heart melted.

We come here frequently and since the pandemic started everytime we've been their fresh water fish have ick. Great selection of fish just wary of all the diseases they have constantly.

My grandmother loved fish 🐟 and we would stop in maybe once or twice a month she could always find what she wanted and more! The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly!
