2nd time here. The drink menu is fun and they are pretty good.. The staff however, was the biggest turnoff. I noticed the short girl every time someone checked out strong arming for tips..when me and my colleagues asked for the check she had the Gaul to say 25% is the norm and expect tip... as someone who never ever ever got a tip at work (it's extra not expected) there is a way to ask for it. Not demand it like you are doing something special. You are mixing drinks and handing to someone less than 1 foot away.. the response should have been " I appreciate whatever you choose. The drink here are cheap, so any percentage might be tiny..again I appreciate anything " but no. I got the arrogant "I ain't s be talkin to you" nonsense like we are all children. Well these children vote with thier dollars. Last time here. Also it was -20 below kuz the dumps front door doesn't even close. Everyone had coats on and still uncomfortable. There are better places in Louisville.

If you're in Louisville, this is a must! This speakeasy is a hidden in plain sight gem of a bar! The vibe is mysterious, local and super laid back. The drink menu will intrigue you to want to try them all, but I wouldn't recommend it. The Acid Cat Spirit Guide was a recommendation from the bartender and there are no words to describe it... just try it. We had a couple of the other drinks listed and all were great. This place was on the main drag and if you didn't know you were looking for the green door, you'd miss it. Go inside and have several drinks!

As a Texan oil tycoon you can imagine i live a very busy life. When i do have a chance for a vacation there’s nothing i love more than coming to Louisville to soak in the rich liquor based culture. Expo is by far my favored downtown cocktail bar. It’s a rootin tootin good time i tell you hwhat. Victoria is the best cocktail slinger this side of the Mississippi!

If you like great cocktails and a chill atmosphere, stop by Expo! We were visiting Louisville and this place was recommended to us by a local. We had the Acid Cat, Tres Brujas, Hooked on a Peeling, and Too Many Devils. All fantastic.

This place is awesome! If you go in here and don't enjoy yourself it's definitely your fault. The drinks were excellent and the bar tenders were fun and knowledgeable. Definitely give the Acid Cat a try, it's an experience all itself but all the cocktails are excellent. We could spend all day there and will definitely be regulars anytime we're in town. Great spot!

One of the cooler bars I have ever been too. It's basically a speakeasy in that it's hard to find despite being in the heart of downtown and doesn't really have signage; in fact that makes me feel almost guilty about reviewing it here. I'm doing it to be able to remember this place. It's dark and obscure, the drinks are super inventive and taste amazing, the bartenders were friendly and helpful, and it just has a great vibe.

The drinks? Phenomenal. The staff? Incredible. The atmosphere? Impeccable. Caleb's chicken sandwich? Literally the only chicken sandwich I like. Seriously, don't sleep on the food. It's delicious and hot and exactly what you want in the middle of the night. Swear. Also, for the love of gods, close the bathroom door behind you after you use it. Nobody wants to enjoy their cocktails and wontons while looking at a toilet, I don't care how nice and clean they keep it in there. (Actually I do and I appreciate it, but still. Don't be gross.)

If you are looking for some top 50 level cocktails and don't want to spend a hell of a lot of money, this is the perfect spot. Every cocktail was a hit. A must try

Hidden Gem, unique drinks and friendly staff. Drinks you’ve never had before nor will have again. Acid cat is one I’ll never forget. Take a sip, chew up a flower floating in the cup and drink again, complete change in flavor and feeling. The experience is worth a visit.

I can't say enough good things about this place. My wife were in downtown Louisville on a Saturday night and wanted a bar with tasty cocktails and we were blown away with the ones we had. Between the two of us, we ordered 8 of their specialty cocktails over the course of the night and they were all amazing. My personal favorite were the Louisville (cinnamon and lime really work well together in this bourbon cocktail) and the Violent Beauregard. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and fun too. We're already planning a trip back to Louisville with friends just so we can take them to the Expo!

Expo has a great atmosphere and some amazing deals. Many of the bars downtown have the same, upscale (and occasionally annoying) aesthetic and atmosphere, but Expo stands out as a bit of a dive bar. If you're looking for somewhere a bit more lowkey and chill downtown, take a stop here. The beer, cocktail, shot flight for $10 is hard to beat.

Hands down, best damn bar in the world. I'm considering moving to Louisville just to be a regular at Expo. Has a "S.I.N." vibe. If you don't know what that means, you'll probably make an @$$ out of yourself.

Excellent mixologist. My wife's Brown Derby I'd AH-MAZ-ING and my Gentlemen's Agreement is super tasty (see pic, I started drinking it before the review of course lol)

Stopped into this place while in town picking some barrels for back home. I couldn't ask for a better bar when you're surrounded by collar and tie operations. We rolled up, talked wrestling with one of the bartenders, and he went buck wild making drink after drink with only the knowledge of "whiskey-forward" as a divining rod for what to make. I would 100% recommend this place if you enjoy good cocktails, chill (see, Dive-like) atmosphere, and great music. Cheers!

This is a great place! We really enjoyed our first time in Kentucky and the Expo.. We went the second night as well… this time our bartender. Miranda wasn’t nice AT ALL we enjoyed all our drinks She was just rude and ruined our second time .. she couldn’t even bothered to say good bye as we said thank you and good bye..Caleb was very friendly!

Great little bar that is quasi hidden. First night Baker our bartender was awesome. It was tiki night so we didn’t get to experience their full drink menu. We went back the next night and got to try a bunch of their regular drink menu and damn they have some good drinks! Caleb did a great job on the katsu sandwich’s but Miranda the bartender was lackluster and off putting. We wished Baker was there the second night but we still had great drinks from an unfriendly bartender. Highly recommend either way!

Comedy club. This was my third visit with 2 months. Very clean ,very organized. Seating was very comfortable. Waiters very thorough. Nice bar area and seating to the side walk is open and airy. This is in regards to seeing Eddie Griffin, Tommy Davidson and LaVelle Crawford's shows there

After reading the reviews we decided to give this place a try. The drinks were great and reasonably priced. We enjoyed it so much we went back another night! It’s just a little hole in the wall and if it weren’t for the bright colored door you could walk right by it. SiSi is the most fun bartender and makes a great old fashioned! We will definitely go back if we are ever in the area again.

Such a fun bar. We were going to do some bar hopping but just stayed here for the night. Thank you for the good times!

It was an okay bar. The bartenders behind the bar would probably do better if they weren’t looking at their phone constantly and interacting with guests more. The old fashion needs work that mix is not good .

This place is a must! The staff was super friendly and kind. The prices were more than reasonable for what they offered. The bartender Cece was so kind and so dedicated to her customers having a wonderful experience!

Went 3 times when visiting Louisville. Drinks are astoundingly good for the price. Bartenders are super nice and engaging. Went for the Triple Play (my title, not theirs) which consisted of an Old Fasion with the option of adding a shot and a beer. Did not disappoint. Not only my favorite bar in Louisville, possibly my favorite bar anywhere!

Excellent cocktails, respectable bourbon collection and an excellent knowledge of everything you drink! Neighborhood bar feel. Serve Ramen and Bahn Mi.

Great cocktail bar that you would easily walk past if you didn’t know it existed. That’s what we did. The cocktails are well priced and well made. For an experience to remember definitely definitely try the Acid Cat Spirit Guide. The Summers Hold is also a fantastic cocktail.

Great little cocktail bar in the heart of whiskey row. Definitely a relatively tight space, so keep in mind if coming with a large group. Cocktails range from $8-10 and were made very well. Would not hesitate to come here again next time I am in town.
