We stopped in to check out The Whirling Tiger on a Sunday afternoon. And it's one of the coolest, most stylish bars I've ever been to. Such an dope retro space. Reminds me of being at an amazing house party back in the day. We'd love to see what The Whrling Tiger is like on a Friday or Saturday night. Betcha it's even more dope. If that's possible.

I went for music. Had a duo playing jazz in the front and they have a really nice theatre in the back for music. Acoustics and sound system are top notch. Room has been properly organized for sound and when the crowd was quiet you could hear a pin drop. Nice intimate stage while being large enough for 150 people or so. Wide stage area with lots of room.hifhly recommend

My ID was checked and oked by door guy shortly after was told my ID was fake and my drinks were confiscated. I am 23 and in no means look young. Whole party was told to leave based on someone not related to our party having fakes who came in shortly after. Was on vacation and this was my first experience with a bar here and it is not a good look. Hope this establishment learns how to run itself.

Stopped on a whim on a Friday afternoon. Great happy hour specials. Friday nights they have a jam session, they were really good. They offer music every night of the week. We played shuffle board. There are some pin ball games in the side room. Cute place to stop and check out. Great location. Street parking. Close to Work The Metal.

Beautiful atmosphere, so stylish and relaxing. They offered free Wi-Fi and charcuterie boards. There are a choice of board games on the upper level and they host live music 🧡 Definitely will be back.

All the accoutrements of a inclusive, relaxing neighborhood bar coupled with an electric music venue. It's music concert/booking line up thus far has been incredible. Whirling Tiger has brought back weekly jazz performances to Butchertown, as well as big headline live entertainment. Pinball, arcade, table top shuffle board, inviting atmosphere, drink specials, what more could you want for a neighborhood hang out? I'm incredibly grateful for the friendly staff, management and ownership's community involvement regarding fund raisers and hosting local community organizations. I always recommend friends and out of town guests to the Whirling Tiger.

First time visiting this establishment last week. Was really impressed by the size of the place. We went to see a band and the room was so spacious. Great sound as well.

Extremely comfortable atmosphere of community and relaxation. We enjoyed the jazz on Wednesday night. Friendly staff with excellent service.

This place is great! The music/performance space in the back is roomy with plenty of chairs. I really enjoyed the cocktails and everyone was very nice. I will be back

Great space. Plenty of nooks to sit and drink with friends. Also saw a play there in the performance space. I really hope that people check this place out.

We didn't have any food here, we got back early from visiting family and just wanted to grab a quick drink. This was right around the corner from our rental, so we checked it out. The entrance was a little different but very inviting, the decor was fun, a little out there, the vibe was chill and laid-back hospitality. The bartender Matt knew his way around the bar, plus he gave us "lost and found" quarters to play pinball in the back. Matt made a yummy ol'fashioned, not overly sweet and a little pull. The bar was full of regulars, they treated us like one of the gang. Thanks Matt and bar goers.

I was here for a live show in the venue space, which is very well done. Perfect size. I really enjoyed the elevated aesthetic of the bar while also feeling that it was casual.

It's the best and has super well run music events a great atmosphere, and as a bones at the events and they don't blast your ears out just make sure that if you are handicapped and need a chair for an event you talk get there early because there's no way to talk to them except by email and limited access friendly viewing spaces in the event room

Saw the Lemon Twigs and Joanna Sternberg here. They were awesome as was the sound and crowd. The staff were also very friendly.

Such a swanky spot. Always great music, solid drinks and the happy hour is unmatched. They make a niche frozen drink each week. Matt and Chris are the best bartenders in town since I stopped bartending. I can definitely say I feel like I'm at home when I'm there.

Ever since this place was called Odeon it’s been one of my favorite go to spots. Whether you’re hanging with friends or on a date, whether you’re pregaming or ending the night, this is the place. The vibe is my favorite of anywhere in Louisville. Couches everywhere. Fireplace. Candles. Dimly lit. Nice indie and dreampop hipster music. Amazing cocktails. And the new management promises to take the venue and drink to the next level. Super excited for what’s ahead.

This place is a hidden gem! Awesome vibe, nice interior that seems 70’s inspired, cocktails were delicious AND reasonably priced. I definitely plan to come back.

Place was great, bartenders were really awesomeand the venue area was dope. The only criticism I have is that the bar was very small for the size of the place.

best experience i’ve had in Louisville, kaitlynn was very friendly and attending and the atmosphere was very comforting and accepting. drinks are priced accordingly and would deff suggest coming back!
