Just bumped into this place by coincidence cruising around exploring the area and was surprised by the cosy “@thisisgather - like” atmosphere. A nice and inviting mix of shops, bar, restaurant, podium and easy hangout to chat, relax or enjoy the great food with a choice of #vegetarian and even #vegan dishes. The lady serving was very friendly and the owner of the property including the camper park was very relaxt and inviting. Absolutely worth a visit. Will definitly be back for a jam session and staying over with the camper. Thank you lovely people at Roosters. Keep up the great hospitality 💚✌️😍🚌🤗

Roadside pub with a very laidback atmosphere. Fish and chips are great. I do not recommend the lasagna. The server was a lovely South African woman. She made us feel welcome and took good care of us.

Roosters is a lovely bar/restaurant with great staff who make you feel welcome. Lots of British expats frequent the place. they have bands and karaoke nights. Tasty food with good portions, from roast dinners on a Sunday to fish n chips oh and also fabulous English breakfast. If your in the area I'd recommend a visit

We arrived as a group of 7 people and waited probably almost 1 hour for food when we were the only people there. The food finally came but there was a dish missing so we waited again for that. The sandwich was stale, chicken breast was dry and not much flavour in the meat, and the pies were overdone. We also found out when trying to pay that it was cash only - there are no signs to inform you of this and the serving staff were in no way apologetic about the lack of signage etc. Very disappointing visit....

Roosters is one of my favourite places for eating or just drinking. I meet a friend here every fortnight or so for a meal and a beer. It's menu definitely caters for an English clientele and is well cooked. The service is excellent, friendly and efficient. I enjoy the setting which is on a country road with indoor or terrace eating and drinking. Their is good parking and a very pleasant atmosphere.

Disappointed when visited last Friday at 6pm no tables all reserved, no food all reserved for later. Wasted journey to Messines all the way from Alburfeira .

English breakfast.. lovely sausages and bacon .. eggs and toast unfortunately was under cooked for my liking .. coffee was good & the staff were attentive..

We often have the Sunday Roast there as we live just down the road. The Host, Ava and the cook are all good people. Fantastic service and good atmosphere.
