My
experience
wasn't
nice
here
as
an
actor.
We
realised
the
chairs
blocked
the
audiences
view
from
the
waist
down
so
we
had
to
adapt
our
piece
very
last
minute.
We
had
initially
asked
for
permission
from
the
staff
of
the
theatre
and
they
gave
us
the
go
ahead,
we
started
putting
chairs
on
wooden
wheelers
so
we
wouldn't
scratch
the
floor
(even
though
it
was
already
scratched)
but
then
as
the
rest
of
the
staff
came
in
they
started
panicking
and
yelling
at
us
to
put
the
chairs
back.
We
then
started
putting
the
chairs
back
on
the
wheelers
but
they
stopped
us
and
said
they
would
do
it
themselves
and
started
dragging
the
chairs
back.
Then
the
next
day,
our
last
night
of
performance,
just
before
starting
we
had
to
hear
the
director
insult
us
and
our
manager
(who
doesn't
speak
Portuguese)
and
our
manager
trying
to
convince
him
to
not
speak
to
us
before
the
show.
After
the
show
a
member
of
our
staff
offered
to
pay
him
for
the
damage
as
long
as
he
wouldn't
talk
to
us
(so
it
wouldn't
ruin
our
night)
and
he
agreed.
As
soon
as
that
member
of
staff
left
he
ushered
everyone
out
and
waited
'for
us
to
come
to
him'.
He
then
proceeded
to
degrade
us
and
call
us
liars,
refused
to
apologise
for
insulting
us
and
our
manager
because
it
was
'his
opinion'
but
demanded
we
apologise
and
thank
him
(I
don't
know
what
for),he
also
said
if
we
left
now
'we
will
continue
this
conversation
later'.
We
had
to
head
him
go
off
for
20
minutes
before
he
was
satisfied.
Me
and
my
theatre
group
will
never
come
back
here
or
partake
in
any
event
of
any
kind
that
will
benefit
this
theatre.
