Absolutely
AMAZING
time
on
this
tour!!!
Super
worth
your
time
if
you
are
a
fan
of
walking
around
a
city
you
just
arrived
in
for
a
few
hours,
dress
comfortably,
bring
a
beer
and
water/snacks,
sun
glasses,
hat,
camera,
backup
battery
for
phone,
etc.
We
arrived
in
Lisbon
downtown
area
and
were
immediately
greeted
by
very
friendly
staff
promoting
this
“free
walking
tour”,
we
were
immediately
interested
because
that
is
what
we
wanted
to
do
on
our
first
impression
of
Lisbon;
walk
around!
So
we
checked
into
our
hotel,
and
came
back
to
the
walking
tour
scheduled
time,
and
were
greeted
by
the
most
wonderful
tour
guide
we
have
ever
experienced
on
any
vacation!!
Our
friendly
guide
for
this
tour
company
Guilherme
was
VERY
knowledgeable
along
our
entire
tour
which
started
with
immediate
facts
about
the
local
sights
that
were
directly
surrounding
the
meeting
spot
for
the
tour
—
we
were
so
excited
to
begin
learning
right
away!
Once
the
walk
began,
Guilherme
made
frequent
stops
to
teach
us
about
the
architecture,
the
history,
along
with
fun
facts
on
entirely
everything
we
saw!
One
of
the
stops
on
this
tour
was
this
little
old
lady
selling
alcoholic
shots
of
this
delicious
local
liqueur
in
chocolate
shot
glasses!
They
were
delicious
and
also
educational!
I
loved
the
size
of
the
group
that
showed
up,
we
were
able
to
easily
interact
as
a
collective,
helping
us
all
learn.
Guilherme
was
very
easy
to
learn
from
because
he
made
sure
to
speak
loudly,
he
made
everyone
feel
included,
and
he
really
knew
his
material!
He
had
a
clear
passion
for
the
city
and
genuinely
wanted
us
to
enjoy
it!
I
really
liked
the
fun
“pop
quiz”
style
questions
along
the
tour
as
well!
After
the
walking
tour
ended,
and
after
I
had
a
few
traveller
beers
to
stay
hydrated
on
the
walk,
I
was
starving
for
a
nice
meal!
We
all
stopped
with
our
guide
for
a
delicious
meal
at
a
wonderful
restaurant,
the
seafood
was
amazing
and
the
beers
were
cold!
A
great
opportunity
to
try
local
Portuguese
food!
I
even
bought
my
guide
a
beer
because
the
walk
was
so
fun!
Now
keep
in
mind,
this
is
a
“free
walking
tour”
meaning
it
is
not
obligatory
to
pay
a
fixed
price
if
you
truly
can’t
for
some
reason.
But
you
should
definitely
tip
generously,
or
whatever
you
can,
to
the
tour
guide
that
takes
you.
They
do
this
out
of
the
clearly
visible
joy
they
have
for
teaching,
the
city
they
adore,
and
their
additional
love
for
walking.
This
made
the
tour
honestly
much
better
because
I
was
much
happier
to
tip
an
amazing
tour
guide
who
taught
us
with
passion,
rather
than
other
tours
sometimes
where
they
seem
to
not
care.
Buy
this
tour
guide
a
beer!
Our
group
also
ended
up
making
friends
with
each
other
because
there
was
so
much
opportunity
to
mingle
with
each
other
when
we
took
breaks
at
several
sights
along
the
walk!
Highly
recommend
:)
